I don't know when last the op took that road to the east BT that how it been don since the days of gej I do take that route on a regular, part of the construction works was halted after the election this is just the continuation of it. I don't see the big deal, from ur analysis u said fashola made a call to FERMA official to know what halting the Benin agbor portion of the road. don't u think his presence could have been the reason for such high security in some of the places u mentioned. no hating BT that road has been under construction for years so I don't see anything new about it.

The O. P may have said this as a joke but the truth is that the Igbos have contributed alot to the Nigerian economy and perhaps still do. For those who are uninformed, key structures in the economy are or have been controlled by them eg NSIA, DMO,MOF, Ministry of Petroleum, PPRRA, I don't know if PENCOM is part of the economy but it is also run by an Igbo. I only wish they would stop demanding to break away and join hands to make things better. Salute to all my Igbo brothers please rethink your stance
u don't take a stance with people that make mockery of ur valuable effort, those that hate the Igbos far far outweigh those that see them as u do.

The current hardship occasioned by his tough but correct decisions are prerequisite to make Nigeria experience the real growth and development.

Gold only becomes very valuable and admirable after passing through very high temperature. The higher the temperature at which it's heated, the harder it becomes, not the softer.

The president needs support of patriotic Nigerians.
a president that publicly divide his country needs, I think I will reserve my support till someone patriotic comes on board. past president won elections with vote coming from some certain section of the country yet no one of them divided the country privately or public like this dullard did.

Onye ocha means white man, since ocha means white just like Onye Ibadan means Ibadan man. Oyibo in Yoruba means Oyi the air peeled his skin or depigmented him. Oyi means air while bo means peel. It was an Ife chief that explained it to me.
we don't call the white oyibo, we call them onye ocha, oyibo means foreign in Igbo language.that why u hear obodo oyibo like I explained before. there is nearness in similarity BT it not the same. BT begin in a complex society and the fact that the similarity is of two big tribes with overwhelming influence we tag it as one and equal. we don't call white men oyibo in the east.
CultureRe: Why Do Igbo People Claim Yoruba Words To Be Theirs? by OMAR12: 10:29am On Sep 07, 2016

Oyibo is simply out of d word Oyinbo which is a yoruba word. oyibo has no direct meaning in igbo.
how well do u know Igbo language, close ur mouth if u don't have anything to say. onyibo means foreign, that why u hear obodo onyibo(foreign land). while light skinned is onye ocha. stop saying what u don't know I repeat.

PoliticsRe: Satchie Emmanuel Etoromi: "Return My Son’s Body For Proper Burial, Stella Oduah" by OMAR12: 10:32am On Sep 01, 2016
dasparrow:
Forget tradition! who tradition don epp? That is why Nigeria is backward as hell due to primitive traditions that help no one. If this man played no active role in the upbringing of his son, then he has no right to determine where his son should be buried. It is that simple. After all, where was he when his son was lying sick in the hospital? The man was just a sperm donor and nothing more. If Stella had not provided for their son, maybe the boy wouldn't have lived to be 28 years old even. If the dead could speak, I am sure the boy will demand he be buried in Anambra instead of his absentee father's hometown.
the reason why nigeria is so backward is not because of tradition Mr man. china japan Denmark and the likes still maintain their tradition and they are doing well, they even make money out of it. so blame ur corrupt government and stay away from abusing the way of some people, assumption again what if the boy where to be staying with his father before he died, am sure ur argument will be against Stella, like I will always say leave assumption for u might be wrong and go with the fact on ground, the boy in question is an itshekiri man, and there was not it was written that he should be buried in anambra, if he is not happy with his father and never wanted anything to do with him in the first place, he should have dropped the surname and anything related to him.

eyinjuege:
When I first read the story that she didn't tell the boy's father of his death, I felt outraged.
But on deeper thought, she has just lost a grown child who was apparently well unexpectedly.
I'm sure she is still in shock, and probably might not even know what's happening around her. You can bet she's not in charge of the funeral, but probably the boy's younger ones/cousins and the youths around them.
However, even if she's excused because of the fresh tragedy and grief, those around her should have thought of the boy's father, and given him a call.
But, let's even assume the Oduahs were useless with no regard for anyone,
Again, if one hears such a news in the media, which initially sounded like a rumour, the initial thing the father should have done was to call Stella, or anybody in her family. I would have expected him to send his people, younger than him to go to Stella's people and find out the truth if he was truly dead, and what caused his death. They would have talked about the burial and the arrangements to be made from their side even if it means transporting the dead body back to his father by themselves. The father shouldn't have waited, and left them to probably send the corpse to him. His people should have done that.
If however they went and were turned back by Stella's people, that's another story entirely.
call who knows if he did, who knows if he had the current number of a serving senator, we all know how break up works. I mean a 28 year old from a poor or mid class is out hustling they hardly call pop and same could be said for pop toward the boy, 28 year old is not a child he must have been in the know of what happened BTW his dad and mom, one with a liberal mind would try to settle the issue on ground. like I said I don't base my judgment on assumption for there is a lot to be assumed, with the detail on ground, it quiet clear she didn't inform him probably she doesnt have his number anymore, even that it won't cos her anything to send someone down to the Mans village to inform them, am sure someone in his village can get the msg to him, BT that me assuming again. those saying bleep tradition, traditions are laid down rules/ laws which existed way before we were born, while some have consequences others don't. am still of the motion that they should follow tradition. they are not the first neither will they be the last.

What is in the east?
we are talking about another thing yo saying another thing, what was the reason for other tribe to be in south west, is it not Lagos and was Lagos the capital of Nigeria for more than 30 years or not. if not for the fact that there is less and less job opportunity in Lagos and the rent in Lagos is on the high side coupled with tax, no one would bother going to Ogun state BT due to the fact that Ogun state is the closes and u can come from Ogun to work in Lagos, that the reason for their population boom. just as every tribe is trooping to abuja what is in abuja aside from 100 percent government presences. so don't be sentimental when yo trying to make a speech.

it is also traditon to care about and provide for your children.
assumption and assumption, we have seen It in movies and the likes, where there is restrictions and court orders and injunctions prohibiting a fellow to keep a certain distance from another fellow, we have heard of child custody battle, we don't even know how long they has been apart. how influencing Stella was during and after their marriage, politically. BT I don't give a damn who is at fault,am Igboman and as a man from that ethnicity, it sacrilege for me to be buried outside igboland. the boy in question is an itshekiri man if the itshekiri tradition permits their children to be buried outside, it is TRADITION.if not!. then the needful should be done. consult all parties before u act when it Comes to a big decision like this.
