And where did you get that 20%? Is it one those stats peddled to massage the ego of Africans? Most French speaking Africans tend to marry white Europeans Its we Nigerians and Ghanaians who tend to stick to our own... A Sierra Leone wont marry someone outside his village let alone from another country |

edoyad: I'm not watching a different race, as long as the FIA don't sanction you it's all good. Many drivers have done worse without any penalties coming their way. The same FIA that let Schumacher walk scot free despite taking out Damon Hill in Australia in 1994, also the same FIA who threw Schumacher out of the whole competition (the whole season) when he hit Villeneuves car, despite the fact that Villeneuve completed the race and won the race. Please dont bring the FIA into this argument, we are talking about the same FIA who favoured Prost over Senna, or kiss up to Ferrari's back side. |

Anyways, when I say a title, I don't mean "THE" F 1 title. He has won less than half of the races Hamilton has clinched this season, but he's just 17 points behind. His consistent podium finishing at least has to be recognized. Imagine he didnt take out Lewis in Spa, Lewis either be 35 points or 49 points ahead |

edoyad: Shut your trap
Considering how Hamilton has won about half the grand prix races this season, it's a wonder how Nico Rosberg is just one Hamilton retirement away from the leadership. If Hamilton does win the F1 title this season, Rosberg should be given a title for his consistent driving. Rosberg won Australia - Lewis had a defective spark plug Monaco - Dodgy qualifying and impossible to overtake Germany - Lewis started from Back Austria - Lewis started from 9th Are we talking about Nico "why is he not letting me through" Rosberg The rumour here thats getting Bernie Ecclestone worried now is that if Rosberg wins the title as a result of the double points, viewing fans will drop and sponsors will pull out. |

They should have used the soft and supersoft tires, Sochi is a street circuit that doesnt really hurt tires, on a proper race circuit would have eaten up his tires, Somewhere like Suzuka or Silverstone would have forced him to have another pit stop |

I dont know why the NFA took an international game to a stadium thats in the middle of nowhere? and 30k capacity, is that the best Nigeria could come up with ? Akwa Ibom or Uyo is not a football crazy city and its not central for all the fans to get to.. Nigeria needs a stadium that will create a hostile atmosphere for the opposition, not one that will make our opponent feel like they are playing at home. |

deeobserver209: There's nothing shameful about Ghana helping Nigeria out in the area of electricity. It's a temporary measure. Besides Economic cooperation between African countries is far better than developed countries. For starters, Nigeria will needs over $50 billion to invest in the power sector to generate more than enough electricity, and you and I know that there's no way Nigeria can afford that kind of huge amount. Do you know how Russia threatens to shut down the gas supply into Europe thats whats going to happen every now and then.. over $300bn wasted on nothing... over the last 30 years |

Greatihex: Manchester Citystar Yaya Toureis "a major problem" for the Premier Leaguechampions in the Champions League, argues Paul Scholes. The Ivorian midfielder was unable to hold back Bayern Munich as Pep Guardiola’s side won 1-0 at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night and the former Manchester United man feels that he is a defensive liability at the elite level. "I felt that it was the same old story in the Champions League for [City]," Scholes wrote inThe Independent. "Yaya Toure's lack of defensive work in midfield has become a major problem for them. "The amount of time I saw opponents get in behind him was quite remarkable. He just did not look interested. Alongside him, Fernandinho is having to do the work of two players defensively and, against Bayern, that was always going to cause City problems. "If they have any chance of breaking through the last 16 in the Champions League this season then City need to play two holding midfielders who are prepared to work back, rather than just one. "In that case, Pellegrini would be looking at either leaving out Toure or moving him further forward. He would have to play Fernando or James Milner alongside Fernandinho. "When United won the Champions League in 1999 we played 4-4-2 and often I would find myself left out in favour of two in centre midfield from Roy Keane, Nicky Butt or Ronny Johnsen. Playing away in Europe, the manager knew he needed those two defensively minded players. The priority was the result. Playing attractive, attacking football was best done at home. "City could have been three or four goals down within the first half an hour had it not been for their keeper, Joe Hart. They cannot afford any passengers in Europe [but] Toure just seems to amble about. He might get away with that in the Premier League but there is no hiding place against the best teams in Europe." http://m.goal.com/x/en-ng/news/5116630 Like When Pep Guardiola's team got a grip of Man United in 09 and 2011, where was Scholes defensive work, coming from a player who doesnt know how to tackle.. |

thegoodjoehunt3: Mikel is a top defensive midfielder. So he made it good despite his role being changed like Pirlo and Schweinsteiger.
The question is did the change of his role affect him from being the best or in the top three best players in the World?
Would Zidane had been the World Best playing as a defensive midfielder? Pirlo never won it despite being the best player in the World becuse he was underated.
Mikel would have been more respected if he played an advance role. Even after he was our best player against South Africa, many still abused him. He could have said he doesnt want to play that role, he wasnt forced at gun point, Millions of players role or position changes when they go from the U21 to the Senior team, Mikel is just Rigid and didnt improve |
