Itoroetti :
go read about the design of the stadium and the stadium it is model after.dont argue what u dont knw
The Allienz Arena is a FOOTBALL Stadium designed for the 2 teams in the city of Munich, The UYO stadium is a multi purpose stadium... a 30k stadium at most could be extended to 40k. And the Allinez was built deep below ground level. It was modelled after Metlife stadium in new york

SportsRe: New Pictures Of Akwa Ibom Stadium (2014) by omar22(m): 12:45pm On Jul 04, 2014
robosky02: the stadium is 30,000 capacity
it is model like the allianze arena home ground of bayern munich
No its not...... Dont ever make that mistake, the Allienz arena is a work of art, a Grada A UEFA Stadium (meaning it could host the final of the champions League)

kendrick93: stop shiftin d goalposts..we are talkin worldwide. who gives a poo wat lyon fans tink.. puttin ayew with benzema is an emberassment.
and yes, ronaldo and messi are more popular dan beckham.. d new generation, most dnt know beckham. even my 3yrs bro knows who messi and ronaldo are
Pay attention to details I said Beckham is MORE MARKETABLE THAN THOSE 3 PLAYERs ALL TOGTHER

And in FRANCE..... (I said in France) Ayew is more Marketable than Benzema
SportsRe: Maradona: Matuidi’s Stamp Worse Than Suarez Bite by omar22(m): 10:52am On Jul 02, 2014
50calibre: Well I'm not really making a case for France alone, but Europe as a whole.

How can you compare Andre Ayew with someone like Benzema, a champions league star who plays for arguably the greatest club in Europe, They are not in the same calibre at all. Ayew may be more marketable than Benzema (which I'm not sure of) because he plays in France but globally, Ayew is no where near Benzema.

Rodrigues is a break out star of this World Cup, 2 months ago most people never heard of him and falcao isn't at the World Cup.

Besides, you over estimate yaya youre. Yeah he's a very good player but he hasn't really shone on the big stage.
Are you for real

Do you know how much it cost Monaco to take him away from Porto last year (you call 45m a break out player), A player that was in the same team as Falcao and Hulk at Porto under AVB, I cant believe you thought Rodriguez was a rookie
SportsRe: Maradona: Matuidi’s Stamp Worse Than Suarez Bite by omar22(m): 10:40am On Jul 02, 2014
kendrick93: so in ur brain u tink ayew is more popular dan pogba? ayew is an avetage playa who cnt even get games for marseille.. and beckham isnt more popular dan messi and ronaldo. thats a big lie
If you live in France you will know this Benzema was a Lyon player that the fans hate, Ayew is the son of a Merseile legend who they love so dearly... Like I said you have to live in France to know this.

The Beckham bit well I say no more
SportsRe: Maradona: Matuidi’s Stamp Worse Than Suarez Bite by omar22(m): 9:59am On Jul 02, 2014
abatically: Pogba is more marketable than toure right now due to their age. Pogba can easily be sold for 50 million, u can't get more than 25-30 million for toure. If u know about football u should already know toure is already 31. Also benzema is more marketable than ayew.
Value is not marketable dont mistake that concept, You wont buy David Beckham for £1 but he is still more marketable than Messi, Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic all together.

Tell me who is more popular around the world Karem Benzema or Didier Drogba
SportsRe: Maradona: Matuidi’s Stamp Worse Than Suarez Bite by omar22(m): 9:46am On Jul 02, 2014
50calibre: The fact Columbia and Costa Rica are in the last 8, has nothing to do with FIFA's preference. FIFA isn't going to rig games just to allow teams advance because that's what it wants.

France as well as other big European teams are very much beneficial to FIFA without necessarily having big marketable stars. A large part of FIFA's revenue comes from TV rights, these countries have very large viewership, then not to mention the fans who travel all the way to brazil, ticket sales, & even marketing rights (for even the not so big stars)

Despite the lack of notable stars in the French side, I can assure you Benzema & Pogba are more marketable than any African, Columbian or Costa Rican player.
Are you serious?

Yaya Toure is more marketable than both players mentioned above, Andre Ayew is more marketable than Benzema in France, then you mentioned Pogba compared to Rodriguez, Martinez and Falcao. Please market wise France in nowhere in the position to influence FIFA's finances, Germany/English yes but France hell no

50calibre: Hahaha but you're forgetting the locations were already fixed before knowing (apart from estimates) how many fans each teams were bringing with them, then the US showed up with Hundreds of thousands of fans.

Conditions can only be made convenient for you, it doesn't guarantee you success, you still have to play. Those trans you mentioned are out, because this time, the Americas stepped up their game.

Don't tell me you believe FIFA doesn't care which teams advance to the knockout stages, money rules football, Ideally, FIFA wants the big spenders lurking around and that's why the US's performance at this World Cup is a good thing for FIFA.
It depends on the country hosting the world cup, FIFA knows if Brazil goes out in the group stage the tournament will die and instant death, because the fans will switch off compare to South Africa where the public showed alot of interest and alot of fans travelled to Jo'burg. FIFA favoured both host in Korea/Japan because of this fear but saying this very world that has both Colombia and Costa Rica in the last 8 for the first time could also meet in the final quashes your train of thought that FIFA wants the so called big teams (which some of them are already home). Marketing wise France offers nothing to FIFA, they dont have a marketable player in the same class Rooney, Torres, Neymar etc let alone Ronaldo so tell me what has FIFA has to gain but making sure France gets through? Oh to relive W Germany vs France semi's at the 1982 worl cup
SportsRe: Maradona: Matuidi’s Stamp Worse Than Suarez Bite by omar22(m): 8:10am On Jul 02, 2014
50calibre: Well they did react, probably not as vociferously as they should have. Sometimes decision go your way, some times they don't, thats football.

I believe if a Nigeria player had made such vicious tackle, he could have been shown a straight red, no doubt about that but it's clear FIFA favours the big European teams mostly because of sponsorship deals, it's clear as daylight, even Jurgen Klinsman said it.

In the group stages, the big teams were placed in favourable locations, bigger stadiums, and given more experienced refs, all these to ensure they had a smoother ride advancing to the next round. It pays FIFA to have these teams in the knockout stages.

Most of these Refs are just scared of backlash, they play it safe. Only few experienced Refs like Howard Web make tough calls without fear.

That being said, if you play your football right, out play your opponent & score a clear goal, no one can deny you that.
Oh dear common man, please tell me how many Nigerian fans went to Brazil? 100, 1000, 10000 huh I dont think we have up to 3000 fans when we have Australia who has up to 10000 fans, the south American teams have well over 1000000 fans in Brazil the stadium has to be strategised. and the teams were rotated and Nigeria played in a community which was claimed that they originated from Nigeria... So tell me FIFA wanted the big teams in the later stage why are teams like England, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Russia are already home, The ref who took charge of the Brazil vs Croatia was rubbish and was new, an Algerian took charge of the Belgium vs US game and if am correct an African took charge of the 2006 final in Germany

Oliver Giroud elbowed Mikel no card was given,Maltuidi tackle Onazi without the ball he only got yellow card...Evra hold Osaze with both hands and no penalty was given...

Yes it wasnt right, but it was a miss timed tackle, which is bound to happen in any football match
SportsRe: Maradona: Matuidi’s Stamp Worse Than Suarez Bite by omar22(m): 7:49am On Jul 02, 2014
Mazi_Omenuko: Keshi didn't protest enough to get the attention of the cameras! The most annoying thing was that the SE players right on the pitch didn't do a single protest! Don't they see how spain and barca players crowd ref whenever such incidence occur? Evra held Osaze with two hands when Osaze went to nod the ball inside the penalty area and the ref ignored it! The incidence happened right in the prersence of the ref; yet no single SE player raised hands to appeal for a penalty! It was so glaring!
Onazi's injury collapsed our midfield and this goes to show it was a calculated attack! That wasn't the first time the french had tried injuring him. He survived the first assault. Did you see the french assaulting Mikel like that? No! Because the knew he was useless and harmless!

Abeg, make una no remind me of that game again!
BOLD Blame that on your manager, who couldnt make the necessary adjustments
SportsRe: Maradona: Matuidi’s Stamp Worse Than Suarez Bite by omar22(m): 7:47am On Jul 02, 2014
alekside: I understand you though, but I believe reckless tackles which could lead to career ending injuries should also be punished retrospectively.

Btw, Suarez bite is not the worst in football. Some Players spit on their fellow players why some intentionally try to break another player leg when they lose it. Let's stop falling for the useless British press censure.
Am sorry its a miss time tackle, When Bright Omokaro ended Algeria's Hamed Djamel's career we hailed him even gave him the nick name 10/10
SportsRe: Maradona: Matuidi’s Stamp Worse Than Suarez Bite by omar22(m): 7:44am On Jul 02, 2014
Edoblakky: I believe we got what we deserved! After Onazi was injured and the referee issued a light punishment, what did our boys do? Nothing! We think football is fairplay? This is exactly how Italy handled us at USA'94 world cup. They took out Amokachi and Amuneke while we played fair instead of taking out Baggio. When Onazi was taken out, I expect our players to take out Pogba. And if they take out Osaze, we should take out Benzema. We may cry all we like but football is not fair play.
You couldnt say it any better!!! Since 1994 we have learnt sweet F*** A** If you watch Argentina vs Swiss, the aim of the Swiss players is to stop the Swiss in their tracks, take them out knowing thats so far you do not show your studs going into a tackle then its a yellow card!! the French guys tackle was miss timed. All these blame Blatter and FIFA is looney, Onazi went off, what did Coco the clown called Keshi do?
