Arsenal has the costliest season ticket in Europe, earns more per match than any other club in Europe (£3M+ PER MATCH) But Chelsea still makes more money than Arsenal annually, Chelsea has more fans around the world than Arsenal

Chelsea in the only team in the UK who has won a UEFA Grandslam (winning all 4 major UEFA trophies)

The problem with Blessing is that once someone is ahead of her she begins to chase and thights up.... and Ahoure flies out of the block, If Blessing could improve on her starting, just like Marion Jones did (before her drug or steriod exploit) then she will be cleaning up all the sprint medals

thegoodjoehunt3: Okocha, come and talk your own.

I always suspected Okocha of having this kind of attitude.

Okocha always wanted to attack. Hence he was denied the chance, he starved our strikers especially Martins, Aghali and OGBECHE.

Okocha was a junior member of that squad

Osarieme415: I saw the movie yesternight.... If you have read the book, you tend to think it is overhyped because many parts that made the novel popular was left out e.g. Ugwu, the houseboy was abducted in the movie but, unlike,in the book, the movie didn't reveal that he fought in the war... I think everybody should see the movie... Just like what chimamanda said in BBC hard talk interview, "there is nothing political about that movie... It is just a simple romantic, love story."
I rate it 6 over 10
However my issue with the movie is that the ladies who played the role of the twins shouldn't have been used. The igbo language sounded unpalatable;flowing from their lips,by virtue of their American accent. In terms of that,I rate Hotel Rwanda over Half of A Yellow Sun. Furthermore,it was appalling seeing Nollywood bigwigs like O.C Ukeje playing "waka-pass" roles. Is it that these guys are local champions ( are they no better than Thandie Newton and Anika) or is it colonial mentality?

Oh please when are people going to stop nip picking, those 2 actress were brought in because of their pedigree and CV, the accent might sound strange to you but it sounds perfect to the rest of the world. Colonial mentality really, do you have to play that card?

the 2030 WC will porbably go to Uruguay because will coincide with the centennial anniversary of the first FIFA World Cup in Uruguay and the bicentennial of the first Constitution of Uruguay.

Nigeria getting a world cup, well from voting to hosting is around 8 years, Unless FIFA says its going to the continent of Africa and CAF and all other nations backs Nigeria then Nigeria will get the right to host the world if countries like Egypt and Morocco or a country in the Southern hemishpere of Africa stands up (Like Angola) stands am sorry Nigeria has no chance. If am correct Nigeria offered to hand back the right to host the 2009 U17 WC months before the opening game due to lack of money which got Sepp Blatter scrambling from here to there funding part of the expenses. Or the 1999 U20 World Cup that had power failures in some cities during matches, Audio problems in some stadiums, playing North Korea's National Anthem when South Korea playing, Hotel prices going up 800%. And you Honestly think FIFA will give Nigeria another tournament to host. 2009 Nigeria hosted matches in 8 cities, for the world cup you need a minimum of 9 Cities
In 2009 Nigeria used 8 stadiums

Abuja National Stadium Capacity: 60,491

Lagos Teslim Balogun Stadium Capacity: 24,325

Enugu Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Capacity: 22,000

Ijebu-Ode Gateway Stadium Capacity: 20,000

Kano Sani Abacha Stadium Capacity: 18,000

Calabar U.J. Esuene Stadium Capacity: 16,000

Kaduna Ahmadu Bello Stadium Capacity: 16,500

Bauchi Abubarkar Tafawa Balewa Stadium Capacity: 15,000

The world cup requirements needs 3 stadium over 60k and 6 stadia within the region of 40k, South Africa had 3 stadium well over 60K 6 stadiums over 40k and the last one 38k

South Africa hosted the rugby world cup in 1995, so they had most of their stadiums in place they just needed refurblishment, Germany 2006, The Germans built 4 new stadias and refurblished 5 others, Nigeria will have to build between 8 or 9 new stadiums roads from the airport to the stadium has to be perfect, Hotels well Lagos yes but other places and Boko Haram oh please.... It wont happen

I guess you shouldn't give any excuse why Alons0 choked 3 times on the final day

MRbrownJAY:

Yes, Alonso has very little chance of finishing in the top 3 of the championship.....but, if we were to forget FACTS and daydream for a minute on IFs, BUTs and MAYBEs (like some people would want us to) then if Alonso had the fastest car, with the perfect set up and the right strategy, then he is THE best driver out there, no questions about that.....Ham would be a close second (no offense to all the Vettel groupies lol)

He had the fastest car in 2010 still choked in Abu Dhabi
Sports / Re: FORMULA ONE F1 Official SeasonThread - Revamped by omar22(m): 4:55pm On Jul 29, 2014
MRbrownJAY: ^^^ok my bad.......
now , let us all be clear on something, all the IFs, BUTs and MAYBEs, "imagine what coulda/woulda stuff" does not matter at the end of the championship, and therefore, you can continue daydream about how things could be in a fairytale world where everything goes the way you desire it, but i will rather stand with FACTS and the REALITY of life.....and the only facts/reality here is that Ham is chasing the Berg (whether because of luck, conspiracy or baba Ijebu).
we can all come up with different theory about the possibilities that came about, qualifying and the how/why/when it happened (and we are all entitled to that) but at the end of the day, the RESULT is what matters.... and sadly, the result today after 11 races is that HAM IS CHASING THE BERG. i am just stating a fact that many of you seem to have a problem with.
if F1 was about who is the best driver in the championship (regardless of what happens during qualifying/race/weather/mechanical issues etc), rather than who finishes with the most point at the end of each race/championship, then they should simply hand over the trophy to Alonso and be done with it all, lol!

Alon who Alonslow!!! I know this is where your heading Alonso might fluke a second place wait will when we get to Spa and Monza see the Williams cars hand him a clean set soft tyres! No Massa to move over just to bump Alonso unto the podium.

MRbrownJAY:

this year, YES, Ham has been chasing the Berg for the best part of the championship. FACT!
the only thing that matters is championship points, and what is clear as day is that the Berg is leading at the moment. FACT!
let us forget about the IFs BUTs and MAYBEs of where Ham could/should be, and instead we should stick to FACTS and REALITY.

He has been chasing Rosberg because Lewis started with a 25 points deficit FACT

thegoodjoehunt: Mikel's role was changed to a role that did not compliment his ability. Mikel was all about holding the ball, making simple tricky dribbles and unlocking defences with tidy passes. At Chelsea, Mikel was made to sit deep and block balls.

Nacho's case, this role enhances and exhibits his ability.

By the way, are you saying we should not call Coach Amokachi, the BULL because he is not an animal.

Bastian Schweinsteiger was an attacking Midfielder / Winger at the 2006 under , Felix Magath, Klinsmann, Henyack and Hitzfield but Luis Van Gaal moved him and played him in the Holding midfield, Toni Kroos was the best player at the 2007 U17 world cup as an attacking player but was dropped deep by Guup Henyak, Xavi was moved from attacking to deep lying playmaker replacing Pep Gaurdiola by Van Gaal am sorry when you are growing your position could change but that doenst stop you developing
Sports / Re: Iheanacho Scores Again Aganist Milan by omar22(m): 11:43am On Jul 28, 2014
thegoodjoehunt: Mikel's case was the opposite. Mourinho told Mikel to avoid the pressure of competing against the likes of Ballack and Deco. He advised Mikel to play a role left by Makalele with no pressure or competition.

Man City has a fierce attack line up with Aguero, Negredo, Dzeko, Jovetic, Guidetti. Coach Pellegrino is challenging Nacho. If he is good enough for Man City, Nacho should be ready to compete against the best. I believe Nacho has knocked Super John Guidetti off. Jovetic's two goals today still keeps him ahead of Nacho.

I was impressed with Nacho wanting to take the penalty in the Sporting Kansas frame. It shows confidence and belief.

He bought Mikel to play as a play maker but from deep because of his ability to distribute the ball and his physique as well, like a deep lying play maker like Pirlo or the same role, Ballack was bought by Roman/Kenyon as a request from Adidas. Ballack who was an attacking midfielder for Munich and Germany had to settle for the CM role vacated by Tiago/Jirosik. And Lampard hold the attacking role.... Jose spent one season with Mikel before he left, and Makalele was still at the club when Jose left. Deco was bought by Scolari not Jose.. Guus Hiddink didnt see Mikel as a forward thinking player neither did Carlo Ancelotti.

You need 2 or 3 stadiums to host the opening, both semi finals, 3rd place and finals they have to he over 70k. If it's going come to Africa again they are other countries who are in better position to host than Nigeria

englishmart: you are very right.
But if the otherwise happens, would you prefer cech who has given his life and career for Chelsea to be left on the bench?
I'd rather cech leaves than sit on the bench.

Look 10 yrs ago when Cech arrived most Chelsea fans said he will be on the bench for the fans favourite Carlo Cudicini but Jose said Cech is my #1 now the role is reverse, if Jose says that Cech is his number 2 then so be it, but the young Belgian wont accept been number 2 to anyone...

Look lets calm down, in the end he will be loaned out just to gain more experience and playing time because of the presence of Kun Aguero, Dzeko, Nagredo and Jovetic in the first team.... and he is not better than non of them ahead of him, may be with time and hard work he could become a great striker but he still needs some growing to do and experience to gain.

How did Germany struggled to beat Algeria. Algeria and Germany game was one sided. Germany had 22 shots on goal to Algeria 7. Germany had 63% of the ball possession and more corners. The only team that threatened Germany was Ghana. Apart from possession which Germany had 57 to Ghana's 43 we dominated every aspect of that game.

Portugal will whip Nigeria anyday and anytime. Nigeria couldn't even beat Iran. Smh

Remember they (Iran) got the same points as Ghana, You lost to the worst Portuguese side since 1986
