PoliticsRe: Talk With Boko Haram, Obasanjo Tells Jonathan by Omen100(m): 6:35am On Jan 09, 2013
tobechi20: Obj, did he talk with niger delta?
Yes of cause, he did dialogue with the militants & also called for stakeholders meetings at various times & I can still remember vividly him(OBJ) starting a peace initiative that brought about the solution to Warri crisis & he was in the meeting personality & threatened the stakeholders that, if they don't find solutions to the senseless killing & that if they don't before the deadline given, he declare a state of emergency in the whole Delta state back then & I say today that that brought about the peace we are still enjoying in Warri. That is what I will call the "stick & carrot approach" unlike the Odi crisis & that of benue, the people took the laws into their hands by killing high numbers of security officers that was sent to maintained peace within communities.
PoliticsRe: Talk With Boko Haram, Obasanjo Tells Jonathan by Omen100(m): 6:15am On Jan 09, 2013
Jonathan’s spokesman, Reuben Abati, told The PUNCH that it was surprising that the same Obasanjo who said recently that his presidency applied force when he was confronted with similar situation in Odi, Rives State, has now turned round to accuse Jonathan of applying only the stick against Boko Haram.

“It is surprising. That means the former President contradicted himself. Were you not in this country recently when he said that when he was confronted with a similar issue in Odi, he applied force? Where exactly does he stand on this matter?” Abati said.

He said that contrary to what Obasanjo wanted the world to believe, the Federal Government’s handling of the Boko Haram menace had been purposeful and that a lot of progress had been made.

Nigerians, I hope we can see for ourselves now that jonathan & his handlers lack understanding & strategists, how could anyone right thinking creature say, OBJ is contradicting himself, "stick & carrot" approach he asked for but the retardeen & his team has applied only the stick approach, I just the approach he has adopted work for him & peace should be return to the north's.

Sincere 9gerian: PDP picks consensus candidate as BOT Chairman

Nigeria’s ruling PDP has a new Board of Trustees Chairman.
Nigeria’s ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party, has picked a consensus candidate for the position of National Chairman of its Board of Trustees.

An announcement is expected shortly on who the consensus candidate and BOT chairman is, though speculations are rife that the consensus is the former national chairman of the party, Ahmadu Ali.

The BOT is one of the most influential organs of the party.

Nothing wrong with it, that is what you have to say? Hypocrisy has eaten deeper into the fabric of the church, which among the big churches today that bible literatures & other forms of books are not sold, even right in the middle of services & what has being to about it?
PoliticsRe: Church Arrest, Detain Saharareporters’ Publisher, Sowore, Crew, In Nigeria by Omen100(m):
Alxmyr: The questions are:
Was Sowore the only journalist that covered the church programme?
Second, what is the basis of correlating his "warm reception with masquerade worshipper" and the MFM?
At what point did the pastor that intervened because he knew Sowore intervened? Was it after they call the DPO or before?
What was special in the footage of his camera that the security men would have insisted that he delete, knowing fully well that the service was
transmitted live and the video of the service is available for everybody to see?
Does Sowore constitute himself to a nuisance that warrant suspicion?
Why was his friend not stopped with him initially?

I am sure we are yet to hear the real Sahara Reporter version of this story.
Monthly later, their version will go out, and we will read....

Let the Islamists (terrorists) multiply in thousands even in million it would in no way affect the growth of this country. it would only affect them in so many ways. how has their activity affected the south and the country at large? they have been destroying themselves for the past 3years how has it affected the nation's economy.u talkd of foreign investors how many do u have in the north? I have u noticed that anyone wt Islamic name specially from the northern part of the country hardly gets visa to enter US and other European country? and hv u ask urself the reason or does it mean Americans and Europeans dislike them? Let them go ahead and form more terrorist groups if possible let them get affiliated wt the more dreadful terrorist organization in the world it WILL DESTROY THEM . They are useless to this country!!! sorry, i don't mean to say that. They are pigs
Dude, u are making a terrible mistake to have ever claimed that nothing comes from up north, if only u know what an average Nigerian is going through as a results of these boko-haram/ islamist crisis & others, its obvious that being comfortable leads to misbehaving.
