madridguy:Ask him what he's ever come up with in his life and hear him give account of his utter emptiness. I don't just get the reason behind this unnecessary hate. If they commend a good deed, will their soul perish? |
alpharoyalty:I have countless number of friends who's had FG grant to hone their skills in various fields of endeavour, including fabrication. No one makes noise about them. The only reason you think the reason he got this is because he's from the north is because your heart and mind have been irreparably polluted with hate, envy and bigotry. Can you show us anything you've come up with and approached the government for sponsorship and they declined because you're from the south? You kids just irritate me with how you reason. |
Coalition of Igbo Groups has called on Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to resign or face impeachment, while also calling calling on the Peoples Democratic Party to immediately expel Senate’s minority leader, Senator Enyinnayah Abaribe, from the party. These people know how ethnically charged the Nigerian political atmosphere is at the moment. Comments like this should kept at bay for now. It doesn't help anyone and does far more harm than good. It is just like weve now found a way to tolerate the killings of our brothers as long as the murderer isnt from another ethnic group. It is one thing for Yorubas to make such a call and another for Igbos to do same. Same way a black man could call a black man Nigger but a white man isn't allowed to. Make una pay attention o. |
Beremx:Smh. ![]() |
JAMO84:Tinubu isn't getting the ticket, not because he can not, but because he doesn't want it. Forget all the political noise going round. Regardless, indeed, if he wants to sink the party or dismember it into its constituent parts, he can. Same way Buhari can, and that is the scary reality about APC. |
A nation with no conscience, no shame. God forbid! |
Beremx:Berem, if you commend the good work displayed in these pictures, heaven wont fall. Haba. |
Chino!!! When would you retire from this? ![]() |
Amongst those who carried out the act, was there any child, relative or inlaw of his? I just pity the idiots who avail themselves to these incorrigible criminals as canon fodder. God forbid I typed RIP when news about their deaths start flowing in. Would rather give the RIP to a dead warehouse mouse. Foolish youths. |
Makavelli25:8k or 80k? |
AmazingELixir:This is the most sensible and realistic comment here. Most people are just trying to present themselves as moral beacons before the public, but deep down, they themselves know that nairaland wouldn't even hear about it if such an opportunity presents itself. Some might even be doing it currently or might have done it in recent past. The best solution (though not a foolproof one) is to relocate from tha area. Simple. |
This country is toast! Such a horrible shame! All that is left is for shekau to start backing politicians openly. Spits. |
TonyeBarcanista:Baba, how market. Do you still hold the same opinion? |
engineerboat:The same man is now your hero. You people have no shame, just like our politicians. |
Oh this woman should shut up already. There's no difference between you and Akpabio. You're both shameless thieves. Nonsense. |
donphilopus:Don himself. Longest time. Presume you've been well. Corruption in the system is just sickening, worlds apart from what I expected under Buhari. So, I am considering taking a break off politics for the wellbeing of my heart. |
After going through all that pain for nine months??!! ![]() |
flyingpig:Signed oaths to do what? The principal oath he signed was the oath to defend the Nigerian constitution and act within it's legal framework. And his allegiance first and foremost, should be to Nigeria and not a group of *powerful persons who made him president*. Forget stories. If you no wan work, you no wan work, period. The position I held wasn't by promotion, but by appointment, and some persons lobbied to put me there. The same persons asked for favours which I felt ran contrary to my principles and I declined. Heaven did not fall! We can't keep making flimsy excuses for our failures abeg. |
Balenciagabrain:Oh come on!! Spare me that. If that is the reason, why would anyone question Yosuf for owning a power bike or Kiki for owning a Spar? They're all crooks. |
Wild goose chase. We'd only end up with another Fatouk Lawal or Stella Uduah situation in our hands. Useless bunch of criminals. Wish I can be the president for a week. ![]() |
Preposterous. The joblessness in this country is really wreaking havoc on our character. Asslicking big men has become a full time job. |
amazinghomez09:Lol. When I get the bar, I go show. |
flyingpig:Reconstruction we all desire, yes, but I don't believe it is the panacea to fixing our endless range of problems. Look at it this way, even when we reconstruct, those who are going to oversee the affairs of the state aren't going to be brought in from Mars, na still we naija people, and the average Nigerian seem to have this nearly uncontrollable urge to steal from the public purse when given the opportunity. I could recollect what happened a couple of years ago, I think 2015, when we were rooting for Baba. One of the nairalanders here with whom i interact offline and who knows the nature of my work, told me something that took me aback, but i never made him/her know how i felt about his/her opinion. I work in an office where the fate of many lies in my hands and it is a place where people are constantly seeking to cut corners, and i sit right in the centre of where everyone passes through and where the OK sign is given. Women came with their bodies, men came with their monies, I could have it all! But you know what, I did none of that and I could beat my chest anywhere I go and challenge anyone who thinks otherwise to come forward with their evidence. It was very simply to be honest and incorruptible. So this Nairaland friend of mine, who also was a fervent Buharist, advised I should shun all that righteousness bullshit and help myself. That me alone can't change the narrative of corruption in the country. So I wondered to myself, why would someone who's such a hardcore Buharist be advising that I engage in such? I just couldnt get it. Now, I don't know the reason why others support Buhari as much as they did or still do, but I did for one reason ESPECIALLY- his staunch anticorruption standing! Now, the reason why I wouldn't buy the argument no president can change the narrative is because all it takes to change that narrative is to disincentivise corruption by severely punishing errant appointees! Dem no dey tell blind man say rain dey fall bros. In addition, if yourself, your friends, brothers and sisters, myself, etc, chose to, in our little ways (just like I explained I've been doing) choose to lead honest and corruptophobic lives, the system itself would reflect our individual attributes. We are the problem, not the system. |
Oh, so the judiciary is no longer corrupt and an arm of APC. These politicians ehn. Fellas, as we go about supporting one crook or another, nicknamed politician, let's bear these in mind: 1. Nobody has our interests.I rest my case. |
flyingpig:I don tire jor. Stealing everywhere. Smh. It is not about politics or any such mundane stuffs, I just HATE anything corruption. It kills a nation faster than anything else. |
IgbalodeRaymond:And nairaland is the place where people find ladies to fkck? How? ![]() By the way, I'm way bigger than such trash. Even your sisters who've tried to get my attention around here were immediately rebuked. So, keep your fkcks, I don't and will never need them. Simply want a place one could read things without getting irritated constantly. |
Crooks probing crooks. I hope she tells them where she got the money to build that castle where from Wike saved her soul. 2023 should be here already. |
Beginning to find the Nigerian political space super irritating honestly. Perhaps I'd simply join my old frenemy, Truckpusher, and relocate to the family and romance section. Everything here sickens me. |
The Chairman of the Committee noted that “We are recommending that these projects should be split and awarded to other companies because we don’t think Julius Berger alone, can’t handle them”.Is anyone thinking what I'm thinking? |
Everyone angling to fill their bellies and bank accounts and nothing else. That's the only principle that drives these people. |
Nobody seems to be bothered about that gargantuan castle she has as a house. Nigerians are not yet ready. Everyone will take sides depending on their political persuasions. |
