no insults needed! In snag attempt to counter this thread and ipob yoot created a thread stating where Kanu worked before the whole biafra thingy. Visiting the website, this blew our minds! Look at the picture and imagine how much Kanu's salary was.

prodigy24: Here are the history of Nnamdi KANU before he became an activist.
Kanu was born in Isiama Afara, Abia State, Nigeria. His father is HRM Eze Israel Okwu Kanu (JP) and his mother is Ugoeze Nnenne Kanu.[1] He attended Library Avenue Primary School (now part of Government House, Umuahia) and went to Government College Umuahia for his secondary education. He later gained admission to the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) but left after two years. He moved to London and studied Political Economics at London Guildhall University now called London Metropolitan University (LMU). According to Nnamdi KANU himself, he said that he was admitted to study geology but all receive chemistry class, which according to him was not in line with what wanted. Nnamdi went home, and told his father to send him abroad to study, that he will no longer continue with UNN. He he got admitted, and studied political economics at London guildhall university. Nnamdi KANU and his friend Luke chukuma Egemba established Alpha Phoenix consulting firm, which was incorporated in 2005. https://www.companieslondon.com/uk/05519337/alpha-phoenix-consulting-limited Nnamdi KANU and his wife resigned from the company and focused on the Biafra course.
https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.naij.com/amp/1082396-ipob-lists-8-mysterious-nnamdi-kanu.html First, there's no where Kanu's name was mentioned in the profile of the company. Secondly, the company is 100% owned by Chukwuma. But that notwithstanding, what really captured my attention was the info below (mind you, you provided the info). Op took a screenshot of the sections of the company's profile he wanted us to see thinking with that, no one's gonna bother checking out the site for themselves! But just below where he stopped... Op, you aren't dealing with idiots here!

eph12: So in summary the minimum wage should not be reviewed? In summary, the insatiable crooks should also look at the downward review of their abominable take home and not use this as a reason to request a rise in the days ahead. |
Politics › Re: New Minimum Wage: NASS Ready, Waiting For Executive – Saraki by omenka(m): 6:11pm On Aug 04, 2017 |
These people just keep skirting around the real problems.
What a shame.
The problem isn't the minimum wage but you people's salaries in terms of percentage current minimum wage.
These thieves try as much as possible to maintain a yawning gap between themselves and the average citizen per resources, in order to keep the citizens subservient to them.
They understand without that gap, there would be no willing hands for them to hire to perpetrate their evil acts than their children, which isn't an option!
Watch them ask for a thousand percent rise in their own take home if this eventually gets the nod of the executive. |

Talk about hypocrisy and double standard. If the FG and the people that benefits from such arrangements isn't getting the best out of it , would they have maintained such policies for more than 50yrs ? What we need is empathy and not these show of shame while trying to maintain a high moral ground even as you stink to high heavens with corrupt practices. Nigeria is a big fraud. Whqt you need is EMPATHY? OMG! In all honesty, you sound mighty dull! I see what your unending sabbatical in the Romance Section has done to you. Sorry my old friend. |

The government can keep on greasing palms after palms just to placate these people, the blackmail will NEVER stop as long as we have no other major means of sustenance.
I remember an article Bruce wrote sometime ago about the "dictatorship of the minority" (something like that) where he opined that "unless Nigeria finds oil in as much quantity elsewhere in the country as there is in the Niger Delta, the region would continue to hold the country to ransom". There, he made a case for the propriety of oil exploration in the Chad basin and other such places far flung from the ND.
He talked about the abhorrence of nature to the concept of singularity and how such situations, wherever they occur, breed nothing but trouble and alot other undesirable stuffs. Reason why in nature we muat always have such opposites like man and woman, forest and grassland, desert and ocean, day and night, black and white, rich and poor, etc.
As long as this situation of singularity/monopoly as regards our means of income as per location and commodity persists, this cycle of blackmail and intimidation in return for quick cash both from the elders and youths of the region will continue to be our lot. |
