Thank God for our vigilant security forces.

There are always two sides to these stories, unfortunately, only one gets out to the press, or perhaps the press is interested in publishing only one side of the story.

Some people on this forum are so depressingly dumb they can hardly form an independent opinion. Imagine the foolishness they display with such immeasurable pride, waving it like some victory medal.

Someone says something very dumb and before you know it, a thousand of them file up behind the post, echoing the same dumb opinion, patting themselves on the back for their collective stupidity..

"..then why is he borrowing?"... and the rest of them have nothing else to contribute than ask "why is he borrowing?"

With reason giving way to stupidity, they imagine tens of billions is all we need to finance the budget.

Na wa oo. cheesy

This latest move shows Saraki is obviously at wits end with no end in sight for his self induced nightmare.

I see where events are headed- judge refuses to honour the invitation, then Saraki in like manner refuses to show up in court with his defence being that if Umar can't appear before the Senate, then why should he appear before "Umar"? Eventually, a bench warrant might be issued for the arrest of Saraki should he decide to play hardball.

It is so depressing seeing the senate become such a shameless gathering of Abobakus even with such overwhelming evidence against Crookola.

Sadly, those who bear the brunt of these people's sleaze and maladministration always form their first line of defence as you can see from a couple of comments above.

You would NEVER see their children on social media defending them but broke asss raggedy street urchins, putting their lives on the line, unsolicited, defending these virmins that don't care a rat's balls what happens to them.

How pathetic.

Wars are never "over" just like that, pockets of resistance would still remain for some time to come, perhaps, years. Even developed countries that don't have home grown terrorist organisations still experience attacks every once in a while. Most important thing is that their capability to launch attacks and cause serious destructions has been largely depleted.

Health › Re: Doctors’ Strike Paralyses Ekiti Teaching Hospital by omenka(m): 9:04am On Apr 18, 2016
seunmsg:
Hospitals are shutting down in Ekiti state while Fayose is busy photoshoping himself in China.

Local government workers in the state are being owed 5 months salary while most civil servants and teachers are owed 3 months pay. The state is in serious mess and the silly governor is busy following Buhari around the world. Yet, nobody seems to be talking about the mess Fayose is making out of governing the state.

The press and most people talk more about Fayose's crass criticism of the president while looking the other way when it comes to assessing his performance as governor. In my opinion, he's probably the worst governor in Nigeria today.
Segun Oni has this to say about Fayose:

“Governor Fayose was in his
characteristic state of hallucination when he
wrote the letter and claimed, while reveling in
his world of ecstatic fantasy, to be voicing the
opinion of Nigerians.

“Fayose’s seemingly strange behaviour is not
strange to people like us, as he is only behaving
to type.

“We called the attention of the people to his
conduct years ago, during his first term as
governor, after the under-the-barb-wire drama
at the airport, that any governor, who chooses to pass under the barb-wire at an international
airport, whatever the circumstance, cannot be a
normal person and should have his fitness for
the exalted office ascertained.”

Oni added that his opinion about the governor,
in this regard, had not changed.

He appealed to “sincere associates of Governor
Fayose, who love him genuinely, to take steps
towards affirming his emotional and
psychological stability in order to save him from
himself.”
