She won't talk about Nnamdi kanu who said "all Igbo females are prostitutes", www.nairaland.com/2880526/all-igbo-females-prostitutes-nnamdi#42192666 but wouldn't hesitate to bare her fangs over a misplaced grudge with APC/Baba.

One defended kanu by saying we are illiterate just like most blacks and kanu meant that as a "hyperbole". cheesy

What is the issue with you people sef, you complain about EVERYTHING, the country is on asset recovery mission, you wail, dealing with saboteur, you rail, now you are moping about what still doesn't concern you!

PMB is supposed to pay with an almost empty treasury huh huh
The attitude of these people makes one's stomach churn in disgust. What exactly do they want?? I think they understand that Baba rode on an anticorruption mantra to Aso Rock and it would be a total failure on the part of his admin if they fail in the anti-graft war.

They would be the first to cast stones at him if at the end of the day no one is prosecuted, yet they want to see him take his foot off the pedal in his resolve to rid the system of its crippling profligacy.

These guys have too many screws loose upstairs. Too bad one is forced to share living space with them.

@ Op, I don't think it is just about Ijaws, I think generally, the average man on the street in SS are very warm to visitors and strangers. I remember how frequently I was given a ride by total strangers when I served there. Some of their men could be very lazy sha cheesy but the women are unbelievably hardworking and. Very resourceful.

I enjoyed my time there in all honesty as I spent time in Burutu, Patani, Ughelli, Asaba, Yenagoa, Isele-Uku, Uvwie, Warri South, Sapele, Por Harcourt and Ekpoma.

What they really care about is how a friendship could be mutually beneficial to them and have little regard for what tribe you are. They also thought Benue is predominantly made up of Hausas/Muslims. cheesy

They used to laugh at me when I use the word "ba" as in "guy, see ba ...." They'd be like- wetin be "ba"?? cheesy

#Nostalgic.

It's just a "proposal"? Why on earth should a person who claims to be honest and portrays himself as a man of integrity, even think of proposing something that reeks of fraud and dishonesty? Where is the change? With this harsh economic situation we find ourselves in? My dear,do you have a business of your own that you run? Do you know what's happening to businesses right now? Gosh!!!
How about you came to this thread and explain to us what necessitated the barefaced stealing your crooked heroes engaged in?? Can you emotionally unstable kids see why our currency has been taking a beating?? How could you collect revenues in dollars, convert a portion of it to naira and remit same to the coffers of government while you share a bigger fraction of it amongst yourselves??

I feel bad when I see someone I have respect for like yourself join the bandwagon of those emotional wrecks who are still reeling from the anger and pains of their preferred candidate's loss at the poll to wish this admin bad and see no good in anything it does.

I saw you make a comment about Buhari saying he has a magic wand which he could just swing and turn the country into paradise on earth and I was like- is such a petty remark really coming from you??

The mess we have in the system would take a lot of effort to cleanse, but the journey has began. Imagine the seriousness of what you quoted- who does a thing like that?? What gives them the right?? Where was their respect for Rule of law when they were taking turns to ra.pe the country?? Can we now see why the naira has been taking a severe beating- because these men starved the CBN/economy of dollars making the currency very scarce and putting enormous pressure on our local currency.

When you read the entire article you'd realise indeed these men don't only deserve to be handcuffed to the courts, they deserve the Frankie Lips' treatment.
Politics › Re: Fresh Monumental Fraud Exposed In NNPC, Customs, NPA & Others - Nigerian Pilot by omenka(m):
Nigerian Pilot found out that many federal government agencies such as NIMASA, NCAA, NAMA, NCS, NIS, NDLEA, FAAN, NPA receive revenue in foreign currencies but some of them change the money in the black market and remit Naira to the treasury;
Can anyone see one of the major reasons the Naira has been struggling??

These guys during the last admin literally bled the country to death.

Let me use this opportunity to call on the attention of all the rice eaters in this forum to explain how expensive rice have become in Aso Rock in the face of dwindling oil price.

Modath, NgeneUkwenu, Omenka , Passingshot ,Gbawe , and host of others too numerous to mention . grin grin
When you mention me in a manner that suggest you are taunting me, I would hardly turn up and you can't do anything about it. Just so you know.

That said, there's been grey areas in the budget from day one (no budget is ever perfect) which I criticised, especially the allocation for cars. I was glad to see that it was changed to reflect the mood of the nation. This as well, if true, is a no no for me.

You guys should understand, the document is a PROPOSAL as we speak and can be amended over and over again until we arrive at a consensus document- that is the reason we have a legislature.

You people are too darn emotional and could hardly analyse issues dispassionately. Tarry for now but bare your fangs when it is eventually passed without those areas you find unacceptable amended.

How long would you keep licking the wounds from your defeat??

Politics › Re: "5,000 Naira Stipend" Is For The Poorest Not For Unemployed Youths - VP Osinbajo by omenka(m):
When some of those promises were made, no one foresaw what is happening currently to oil prices and the global markets.

APC should be bold enough to come out and tell Nigerians that due to the current realities on ground, it would be virtually impossible to carry on with that policy. When things start looking up in terms of revenue, it would be reconsidered.

This is not the time to finance socialist programs (even Saudi has been cutting subsidies due do the sharp decline in oil revenues), this is the time to use what little resources you have at your disposal deployed to fixing critical infrastructure and creating jobs/promoting entrepreneurship.

The N5000 program isn't feasible for now.

jusRadical:
I wish that you will just keep quiet.

How much was oil before the election?

Did Okonjo Iweala not warn Nigeria of hardship ahead?

Did the international community not predict further fall in oil price?

Did some Nigerians expecially those in support of the pdp not laugh at the N5k tipend thing? Did they not say that it was not feasible?

Even with the price of dollar then, was it a possibility?

Was your apc not aware that gej and pdp 'destroyed' the economy then?

Did your apc not know that gej and pdp 'stole' every single penny in the treasury?

Did your apc not know (even with a prof) the difference btween the unemployed and the poorest?

Did they not know that a person can employed but still poor?

Unemployment and poverty which one is a mojor issue in Nigeria?
You know, sometimes when people quote me, before responding I take a moment to view their profile. Going through your profile, seeing your topics, I imagine what a futile exercise it would be trying to make you understand that 1 plus 1 equals 2.

Wish you the best. wink

Guy, you are obviously motivated by bitterness or something for making that false assertion, coz as at Feb. 2015, prior to the presidential elections, Dollar was exchanging at =N=215 naira. You obviously don't know what you're talking about.

Everything these guys say regarding this admin is ALWAYS driven by RAW HATRED for the president as a result of his defeat of their preferred candidate in the last election and nothing more. Dispassionately analysing events or trends without being teleguided by their hearts rather than their minds is absolutely taboo for them, and a total misnomer.

It was the same hatred that made Ayedee appear like a foolish kid in that Channels PDP/APC youths presidential debate when the APC guy rubbished him completely because he spent all the time given him to throw personal attacks at Buhari.

What we are seeing here is just a mirror image of that incident.

Take it easy before you burst a spleen. The world is sliding into a recession, and Nigeria is part of that world. Kemi has got nothing to do with it even though I have some reservations about her. Some of those stocks on display have most of their stakes in the energy sector and that is why we are witnessing the trend we are as oil prices fall.

I don't know if you understand these things.
