Make buhari build his own too na.... Despite grossing over 60 comments, that thread on the Otuoke helipad didn't make the front page, but that that contained a lie from one ochejoseph that compared the alleged helipad being built for Buhari to the field Jonathan always lands made the fp. Lalasticlala, ishilove, this isn't fairness at all. There was no reason not to have put this thread www.nairaland.com/2416734/photos-ex-president-jonathan-helipad on the fp if this www.nairaland.com/2412601/how-jonathan-lands-otuoke-how made it. The later even contained an assumed image of what is intended to be built for Buhari. |

Politics › Re: U.S., Homosexuality, And The Hypocrisy Of Nigerians! by omenka(m): 11:12am On Jun 30, 2015 |
dearpreye: Hypocrisy remains the worst form of corruption. If the US is now famously known for its sweeping stand in favour of Homosexuality, Nigerians are known for their despicable hypocrisy. I can stand the gay; but I can barely stand the hypocrites. Nothing disgusts as does hypocrisy.
That being said, how and why a man should be sexually attracted to another man is beyond my comprehension, and it's very disdainful. I still can't wrap my head around its absurdity.
Whenever I see the designs and contours on my woman, the whole idea of Homosexuality all the more becomes an unspeakable crime. Thank God our docile and overfed lawmakers, in a desperate move to salvage some of its battered image before the people, hurriedly passed the Homosexuality Prohibition Act into law years back. It remains a crime in Nigeria.
But this is the point of this article.
Nigerians are amongst the most religious folks on the surface of the Earth. It's only sad our religiosity doesn't run deep enough. Our society hasn't benefited much form our religiosity. The greater portion of those crying and abusing the US are Nigerians.
The US is a sovereign nation, and how it conducts it's business shouldn't be much our concern. We've got our hands filled with our own problems. We need to face them.
The last time I checked, the US embassy and consulates are still open here in Nigeria. We still troop into the US. I'm sure there are more than 100000 Nigerians in the US. And many more are praying, fasting and doing all they can to get to the land of Homosexuality. Till we stop making frantic efforts to go to the US because of its Homosexual law, we're not ready to make our stand known about it. The US couldn't care less about us.
As for me, I still prefer the Homosexual-friendly US to this corrupt, unworkable, backward and divisive nation of ours. We still lack the most basic of amenities. We're not even capable of self government.
Don't forget: we still use Apple products. Hope we know the sexual orientation of its current CEO? He's openly gay. The US is lightyears ahead of Nigeria.
Those who have killed and raped women and children in Benue, Plateau and other parts of the North aren't gays. Those who kidnapped and destroyed pipelines aren't gays. Those who have stolen our billions and have them stashed away in foreign accounts aren't gays. Those who have continued to ensure we live in darkness and poverty aren't gays. The gays aren't the problem of the Earth. They're not responsible for our dilapidated education and road system.
What's Nigeria known for? Terrorism. Corruption. Division. Rancour. Cheating. Everything abnormal. We're not in any position to criticise the US. It's our dream to be half as developed as it is.
Our hypocrisy stinks. The difference again is that we're a people without conviction and courage. We simply hide away in silence when our beliefs are threatened.
To hell with the hypocrites. Mind your business. The USA remains heaven when compared with this cesspit of monumental corruption and fraud. Nonsense. Two trillion likes jare!!! Very nauseating stuff honestly, even T.B Joshua followed the bandwagon, saying the US needs prayers. I wonder who needs deliverance between us and the United States. We should learn to mind our business jor. If the Americans feel that serves them right, so be it, it is their domestic affair and not a Foreign Policy. The age at which a girl is allowed sexual relations in the US is 18, can someone remind me what ours is again!!?? Disgusting hypocrites we are honestly. |

freshdude99: But lets leave sentiment out of this my friend, do think in a complex country like Nigeria especially in GEJ government that was closely checkmated that an amount to The tune of $2.1b can ever be spent with out approval? Sometimes I just wonder what's wrong with this apc govt. If pmb thinks less of her and her qualifications as he claims all the time why then did he travel with her to SA for the AU meeting recently? Let me tell you, aside all these politics even pmb knows that Nigeria don't have a better candidate for that office than her. In my opinion, she did her very best for this country, akinwunmi adesina would attest to that in all the encomium he showered on her recently Look at this: in 2011, about 500billion was appropriated for subsidy and in the end, over 2trilion was said to have been spent without recourse to the National Assembly!! There wasn't a SINGLE supplementary appropriation to that effect as revealed by the various probe committees set up to look into subsidy expenditures. Isn't that eerily identical to the situation here? Nigerian government under Jonathan was especially known for such gross misconduct. |

In the Mostly Northern part of Nigeria Homosexuality is an open business.

The TIV Tribe in Benue State give their wives to visitors.
The Muslims in the North Marry 8 Year old girls.
Denrele the entertainer flaunts his GAYNESS openly.
Nigeria is a country of HYPOCRITES and are acting like America just invented the word GAY, we have our OWN forbidden things as stated above that we do. Let us clean our HOUSE before another Country's problems kill us in Nigeria. Gbam!!! A thousand likes for you jor! The only reason people get all emotional about this is nothing other than not to be seen as being submissive to the desires of the white man. The position we are taking on this is purely borne out of ego and nothing else. I don't bloody care if one is gay or not. I personally don't like them, just like I don't like some girls. I don't give two hoots what they do to themselves, they are adults and should be entitled to their choices. A gay man doesn't approach you and force you to have sex with them. If they try to woo you, being the straight guy you are, you simply decline just the same way you would turn down the request of perhaps a very ugly lady if she asks you for sex- simple!! Should we attempt to base our judgement on the "spiritual or religious righteousness" of the act, I'd say there are a lot other "unrighteous" things we do as a people just as you mentioned and I see nowhere in the Bible where it is mentioned that incest is a lesser sin than homosexuality. I think the last Assembly passed the law they did out of sheer redundancy. There are far more pressing issues to deal with but you would never see those nutcasses attempt to deal with them, such as enacting very strict and tough laws against corruption. Yeye dey smell. |
