mrvitalis:You call your uncle a thief?? |
modath:The task ahead is indeed daunting but I believe Buhari would pull it off with the moral support of countrymen like you and I. ![]() Those who wish and pray fervently that he fails would see only themselves being best buddies with failure and disappointment. As Buhari succeeds, so would Nigeria and her well wishers. God bless PMB and God bless Nigeria. |

I see where ISIS got some of their ideas from. Smh. |
cold:One says they would refrain from using curse words on this forum but foolish kids like you make it more and more difficult to keep that pledge. How the fvck has the rubbish you just typed addressed the issue raised by the op?? If you are so mentally handicapped to comment on the topic itself why couldn't you just read comments and bounce? Must you show the world how daft you are waving your foolishness like it were some priceless medal of valour?? Before the election someone, a PDP supporter, given their imaginary confidence in the outcome of the poll, created a thread and the topic mentioned the names of the most ardent supporters of GMB and asked what we would do when the General loses again. Most of us said regardless of the outcome, we don't see ourselves as active on the forum as we were anymore. Our activity was largely due to the fact we were in the campaign season and had to back our man. He contested and won. Now the rest if history. Now, how difficult is that for you to handle?? Abeg, face your front and reserve your jaundiced personal opinion to claptraps like yourself. Such annoying piece of sea urchin. |
Here's my opinion firefire: It is better for Buhari and APC to retain the support of the generality of the electorates and damn the consequences of losing Saraki, Dogara et al. The Governors, who happen to be the next major power brokers after the president, are all in agreement with the principle of party supremacy which is where the presidency and the party is leaning towards. Jonathan's case got worse because he lost the loyalty of PDP governors. They have far greater control over the electorates than the president and assembly members. These guys (assembly members) are just flexing biceps because elections are still somewhat far off but they would never notice the passage of time as they bask in the euphoria presently going on in NASS. When the time comes for a return to the chambers, the governors would still be the ones in control of the party delegates and we would have the same recalcitrant congressmen come grovelling at their feet for support. That is when the party would take its own pound of flesh if they chose to remain in the party or the party allows them to stay. Should they decamp, the same power tussle as is being witnessed now would consume all of them. The old guard in PDP wouldn't wanna relinquish power to the new comers from APC, moreso because they've learnt a thing or two about betrayal. Buhari simply needs to concentrate on delivering on his promises, find a way of doing so without recourse to the National Assembly because what they would want to do should any matter be presented before them from the executive is not to grant ascent to it as a way of punishment irrespective of its benefit to the people, and retain the loyalty of the party and her governors, and mend whatever damages exists between him and Tinubu. Can he find a way to do these, he's sure gonna write his name in gold in the history books of the country. |
bamidele029:You took this right out of my fingers! ![]() Indeed they are only powerful on the internet, reduced to nothing more than whimpering moppets in real life. ![]() |
dustydee:Pacify who?? Over their dead bodies. Watch them arrive here in droves to turn the thread into a tribal, religious and regional shouting match- that is all their minds are programmed to see. Patiently watch what the person above would say- it would be a huge surprise if he disappoints. Modified: Now take a look at the comments below, just as I predicted. Sorry to say, it is obvious some of these PDP supporters already have their brains eaten up by maggots and have maggot shiit for brian. How "irritatingly" predictable they are. |
This guy is the most petty politician in Nigeria honestly. His only goal as a governor is to do things to spite Amaechi as though that is what the people of Rivers State voted him into office to do. Well, what's my business, let them enjoy the sunshine. I don't see how his actions affect me. |
Imagine the trash coming from that damned Wadata Plaza. Isn't this what PDP had always wanted?? If this wasn't what they craved so badly, why their shameful connivance with Saraki and Dogara to subvert the will of their party?? Now they wanna turn around and blame Buhari for this- oh I see, they would rather have him tear-gas them the same way their democracy hero and icon did when things appeared to have turned against him in the same House last year. What a pity. |
OAM4J:You put it perfectly. It is better for Buhari and APC if the retained the support of the generality of the electorates and damn the consequences of losing Saraki, Dogara et al. The Governors who tend to be the next major power brokers after the president all are in agreement with the principle of party supremacy which is where the presidency and the party is leaning towards. These guys are just flexing biceps because elections are still somewhat far off but they would never notice the passage of time as they bask in the euphoria presently going on in NASS. One of these guys should just do the country a favour and drop dead on the floor of the House already. I think that would put an end to all this shameful madness. ![]() |
Very very typical. |
Op get a better source. Progressives don't do globalvillageexpress or hopefornigeria or thebreakingtimes or the rest of them. We leave those to PDP supporters. |
Sorry to say this but if this is true, I wish one of those fools just drops dead in the process, na there dem eyes go clear. ![]() |
Aminat508:My dear I've voted for him don't worry. ![]() |
I vote Agarawu23 Cc: NLjega. |
Lanceslot:Saying "nothing" would bring him down is sounding too naïve. Nothing is impossible, least of all taming Saraki. Time will tell. |
Another thread for blood lust ethnic militias on nairaland. Outta here. |
Firefire:That is the result you get when you are so much in a haste to criticise- your brain begins to malfunction especially when it doesn't have a capacity to take the stress of logical reasoning. And when it hits the fp how much better is that gonna make your life that you have to mention Lalasticlala ten times in a row?? |
Why does Osun state appear to be the only state making so much noise about this crises when there are over 20 states caught up in the mess? Aregbesola owes 7 some states owe 6 and others 5, yet we hardly hear a word from them. I think this is beyond mere salaries. Someone somewhere is pulling these strings. |
BankManager:That is my only worry honestly. They are creating way too much distraction. Had Buhari not been the president, I would have cared less if they spilled each other's blood on the floor of the Senate and HoR. |
And Saraki takes his tomfoolery to another level- talk about a dog not heeding its master's whistle. The man Saraki has risen so high he's gonna hit the ground with a very large thud people miles away would hear it, and when he does he'd be lucky walking with a permanent limp- I see him crawling permanently. Dude is just disgusting. |
TheFreeOne:Oga, if you don't fancy the president's choice, sue him- just like a lawyer did when he was delaying his relocation into Aso Rock. The composition of the president's security detail and how they are arranged is his prerogative. Deal with that. The president isn't violating the constitution, and going by what ensued in the last election, the DSS has no moral right to fault such a decision, least of all, you. Goodnight. |
They are here commenting on an article from SR and none so far has called the newspaper the usual names they call them because the publication suits their bigoted minds. Sheer hypocrites I hear someone say. One was even naïve enough to quote a portion of the article highlighting some part that states the comatose nature of the educational system "for sometime now", not knowing the statement is a direct indictment on the immediate past president he so viciously defends as the best thing that ever happened to this country. Well, one of those things Jonathan bequeathed on the nation apparently is a collapsed educational sector. As for Ndibe, most of his articles make a lot of sense, but on this one, I think it's a tad bit too early to draw daggers. Dude is barely a month in office. Regardless, Jonathan was NEVER an option. That is a FACT. |
atlwireles:Fire that doesn't burn beyond a computer or phone screen. Empty barrels. |
TheFreeOne:Mscheeew. You sound as if they aren't there to protect him. If he says he doesn't need them what's wrong with that?? When it was reported the ex president hired Israelis into his security detail, did you see anything wrong with it?? Why are you so bothered if the SS is asked to leave the villa? It is not like you care if the president drops dead tonight anyway. |
When I read the news, I desperately wished it was true. The DSS is heavily compromised and needs to be kept as far from the president as possible pending when the organisation is purged. We've not forgotten how they became PDP media and military wing during the campaigns and some state elections in 2014. Between Marylin Ogre and Mama "Peace", I don't even know who's worse. |
Wow. Surprised Israeli Commandos didn't make the list. Well, when it comes to warfare, you just gotta respect the Russians. |
