Tinubu going by today's publication has been exposrd as Sahara reporters chief Financier.Sahara reporters has finally succeeded in destroying the the miniscule of credibility it has left. No one would ever take a non-partisan look at any of its publications.

Anyway thanks for admitting the APC have failed
And the same SR published this story on their Chief Financier: saharareporters.com/2008/09/15/how-us-federal-agents-succesfully-linked-bola-tinubu-drug-trafficking-ring-chicago

Such redundant hypocrites.

You should carry a placard and go protest in Lagos against Tinubu. Your rants on NL can scarcely achieve anything.

The source dismissed suggestions
that the activities of government had been crippled on account of the failure to appoint ministers as a blackmail by politicians keen to get into the pie.
Exactly what informed and disabused minds around here have insisted.

There is simply no document the minister could sign which the perm second can't in an event they've not yet been appointed.

Sahara reporters reporting something bad against Tinubu? Now I am confused. shocked
First this is an old article. Secondly, it is only Jonathanians and PDP supporters that keep thinking SR is under the thumb of APC or Tinubu. They hate to see the truth being published. They (PDP supporters) attacked SR when they exposed Oduagate, Ettehgate, Patience Jonathan's money laundering case, Alison Madueke's sleaze, etc, but they (SR) remained dogged unfazed under all that and keep doing a good job of exposing fraud wherever they find it.

Imagine these guys who just created a thread blasting them for publishing Saraki's case file, saying they are being sponsored by Tinubu, have now gone to get a story about their alleged sponsor from the same site. Isn't that hypocritical?? cheesy

SR is fearless and far more independent that most other newspapers, online and print.

@justcash

The post by YOU the OP amounts to a defamation
of character punishable by imprisonment!

Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu is NOT a drug baron.
If he was, the Americans would have arrested
him long ago. Tinubu TRAVELS to the U.S. regularly
and was at the U.S. Congress this year!

The Americans have zero-tolerance for
drug barons or drug pushers, and Tinubu
who is a brilliant chartered accountant has
also been cleared by the Americans.

The story posted here by the OP is very old
or STALE and had been overtaken long ago
by events!

The OP should stop the hatred for Tinubu
and stop the sensationism.

Tinubu since 2007 has NOT had political
immunity, yet the PDP-government of GEJ in
it's dying days started a print media and AIT
and NTA attack on Tinubu in order to make
people hate this man. Why wasn't he arrested
and charged before the elections?

I'm s bit angry with Tinubu for not taking these
malicious attacks by all manners of people
seriously until he finally sued AIT. By the
time he makes a scape-goat out of these
people spreading Defamatory and
sensational lies about him online and
offline, then these group of Nigerians
will realise that LIBEL/DEFAMATION of
character is a criminal offence all over
the world!

I remember the late Emeka Ojukwu in the
1990s sued a media outfit for publishing
false information about him and he won
by being awarded some millions of Naira
in compensation. Tinubu should be more
serious about dealing with anyone that
defames him online and offline because
their is a well-targeted attempt by his
political opponents affiliated to mainly
the rival political party and tribal/ethnic
bigots to lower his reputation in the eyes
of the public, and it is working especially
among the gullible folks who do NOT
bother to ask critical questions.

Omenka!!!!!!!!!! Good to see you here cheesy cheesy Get ardent in the "ways of Christ" ASAP oh.

First and foremost, there is some difficulty believing EVERY of the narratives, not just the Christian narrative. i mean, who would not have a hard time believing that humans evolved from apes or fish and the evolving sorta stopped. Or that a couple of dust had a rough time and finally produced earth as we have it, the atmosphere, the rivers and fountains, oceans and continents, and all them living things starting life from some mistake protozoa. One has to be really wacko to believe that SCIENTIFICALLY.

The were the human race. wink Really, creation is a MIRACLE. It's not something explained in the lab or in textbooks. Adam and Eve are miracles. They were formed from dust and never had to grow like us, through childhood, puberty and the likes. The Bible also shows us that they were some kind of superhumans. Ordinary people do not live for 900years. Ordinary people do not control and maintain the size of the garden of Eden. The strength, immunity, power, intelligence, fruitfulness and composition of the first humans is not ordinary. They were a better set of humans than the watered down version we have today. What we however have today is an increase in knowledge compared to the average human race. The first set were by no means average BTW.
Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

They were his brothers and sisters. The first set of humans were very fruitful and productive people. They are what 'spiritual' people call BLESSED. They were blessed by God Himself for the purpose of MULTIPLYING and REPLENISHING the earth. That in itself is a miracle. It is a miracle that multiplies 5loaves to feed five thousand and have 12baskets of bread as remnant.
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

This command and blessing is loaded and powerful. Noah also received a similar command and blessing after the flood. When God commands us, He gives all the resources to fulfill the command.
Gen 5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begot sons and daughters:

This passage for instance proves that Adam had other sons and daughters that we do not know much about. That nothing is recorded does not mean nothing happened, for instance, between the birth of Cain to the death of Abel. Do you know that Paul, Peter and co had brothers, fathers, and grandfathers? They were not recorded but they did have them.

It's more of a miracle but we are of one blood and one race, that is most important.
Act 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
God divided us even further at the tower of Babel incidence. It is only God that does these things. You can imagine, there are many things that fellow humans do, achieve and construct/discover that awe us, how much more God.

Miracles of that nature do not happen everyday or forever. The manna has to stop someday as it were. God does not continue parting the Red Sea or raining manna. Just like our parents don't breastfeed or carry us on their backs forever. Growth and some form of independence happens. God made us and earth with that goal of some form of independence, but the miracles helped kickstart and sorta stabilize the process.
cheesy

Thanks for the detailed response. Will take my time to go through every one of the references quoted by some of the respondents. I know I'd learn a thing or two from each of them.

Most of the people ranting don't know the meaning of helipad

A helicopter landing pad (helipad) is a landing area or platform for helicopters. While helicopters are able to operate on a variety of relatively flat surfaces, a fabricated helipad provides a clearly marked hard surface away from obstacles where a helicopter can land safely.

Cost less than 5 million naira, compare it to cost of fuelling SUVs from Katsina to Daura in four years
That was the reason I refused commenting on the thread. I mean, I can even build a helipad myself if I don't have better things to do with money. I just don't understand what all that ranting is about.

A typical couple can produce 2^23 different combinations of offspring.

I still tell you that there is a single human race. Natural selection doesn't change species to another specie rather it sheds off some genes. Adam possesed all genes human kind can ever have. Haven't you heard that mutation doesn't help survival? Mutations are generally dangerous. About 0.5% of mutations have no adverse effect.

I still believe natural Selection shed of dark skinned genes from humans in Europe to help absorb vit d, shed off light skin genes in Africa due to the intense sunlight, etc. Resulting in gene pools that we have made racial pools.
First I didn't say natural selection changes the genes, if you understood me, I only said it modifies physiology.

And as for your last paragraph, it is dangerously flawed and runs afoul of science. cheesy

Look at this: we know black bodies generally absorb more sunlight. We also know there is more sunlight in Africa than say Europe and America. Natural selection works in such a manner as to ensure the survival of a species. Having black skin under conditions of greater sunlight negates the principles of natural selection because such combination imperils the survival of the species by way of driving the body temperature beyond equilibrium levels.

Therefore if we were to credit our skin colour to the mechanism of natural selection and not some other factor which supersedes natural selection, then Africans, compared to Europeans, should have brighter/white skin colours ensuring sunlight is absorbed to a lesser degree in order to keep the body temperature cooler.

Therefore the forces at play when it comes to the colours of our skin is beyond natural selection. smiley

Judaism, hermetic, kabalah, Mormonism, the book of Enoch, the books of moses.
The above mentioned are religions founded on one book the bible, sortof derivatives from the bible, knowledge is amorphous, no one person can have the entire knowledge of the truth or a topic, even the bible can not boast of such.

1.race:
The issue of race of adam and eve, the term "race" can not be applied to one man and hid family, you should know race is a social construct, a group of people, a community etc, not a singular construct. When the term race is applied to an individual, it refers to a group of people, comparism of a collective data, a pre-existing data or characteristics. The moment adam and eve were labelled the first man and woman, THE TERM RACE SEIZE TO BE APPLIED TO THEM, CAUSE THERE IS NO PRE-EXISTING DATA, TO COMPARE THEM WITH OR DRAW UP AN ASSOCIATION. you should know that every tribal or significant communal, racial or tribal term originates from a significant event sometimes tied to a covenant in the bible, the study of kabbalah and the Hebrew language basically the torah looks into the hidden meanings, names and events in the Bible. The bible was just meant to br a book every lane man could read, the mysteries are for a few.
Let's consider the bolded and take some wild but intelligent guess. For each part of this world from the Mideast to Africa, Europe, Asia and America, there are a particular race that predominate the population in these places. If we were to pin point the location of the Garden of Eden, then we could make a good guess as to their race.

That humans weren't intelligent enough to classify people back then doesn't mean if Adam and Eve were to live today we would see them and classify them depending on their appearance. So they must have belonged to a PARTCULAR breed of human beings.
Christianity Etc › Re: The Creation- How Compelling Is The Christian Narative? by omenka(op): 11:38am On Jun 28, 2015
Horlufemi:
1. There's only one human race. Human race

2. The bible is not detailed to that extent. its not a historical reference book.

3. The genes that code for physical appearance is insignificant to the entire human genome. genes that code for are plenty and there is a certain space for few in a genome. There was mutation in some places and as humanity scattered all around the globe there came gene pools. these types of genes are prevalent in these areas. Humans are still humans. You won't believe that you are close to one Arab than another Arab genetically.

4. I will still state that mutation is a factor but mutation don't mean they change from one specie to another. Yes there is micro evolution but macro evolution is impossible. There are mutations here and there but that doesn't mean they are another species entirely. I'll say evolution is the cause of racism. because the other races want to start seeing themselves as different and because they've achieved some, they feel superior.

Darwinism is outdated. To me it takes more faith to believe in evolution than that God created life. I recommend reading Darwin's Doubt and Signature in the Cell.

What I'm trying to say is man will always be man, a dog will always be a dog. a cat will always be a cat. they will reproduce according to their kind. always.

Peace.
Your first point sounds a tad bit pedestrian so I would go into that.

Second point could be accepted based on your admission of the inadequacy of the accounts of the book.

Thirdly, I beg to disagree on your argument. I don't know but it appears it is true and "untrue" in the sense that when you come down to say a nuclear or extended family, the argument seems to hold water- like saying one must not look like their parents in terms of physical appearance. But the argument seems to lost its footing when you consider a population as large as a race- wherein every member share striking similarities with every other member. I think at a point like this, there is some sort of conservation at play as regards mutation. Just look at the Mongoloids! cheesy

Now I don't know is these different "variants" of the human races have their benefits as described for living organisms in the theory of Natural Selection and Adaptation. Take for instance- what's the benefit of having slant eyes over straight ones, being short over being tall, being white over being dark, having short hair over long hair, etc...

I know there must be some point at which religion and science cross paths. At that point I believe would lie most of the answers to these questions, but as it stands I don't think we've located that point yet.
