doctokwus:
This man is inciting hate more than any other politician in position of authority has done in recent times.
He is not hiding his contempt for the north and these are exactly the kind of sentiments that make people otherwise calm to react in unconventional ways.
Fayose is definitely scared of what becomes of his type after may 29,so he prefers the nation burns than he accounting for his misdeeds in office.
When they say "the north", they always forget that Jonathan has a handful of supporters in the north, and such statements do nothing but rob Jonathan of such supporters.
Politics › Re: Fayose Warns Apc And Buhari Over Attacks On pres. Jonathan by omenka(m): 7:46pm On Jan 23, 2015
Ok. Fayose says they would retaliate right?? My question is, who is gonna be doing the retaliation, his children?? Last time, I saw a picture of six boys, all grown ups, and they are Fayose's children. Is he gonna have any one of them among the youths that would be doing the retaliationhuh

Buhari isn't qualified yet, and I think the op is an APC apologist, he intended canceling the Doctorate title of Jonathan.
Actually, to me, who he supports is immaterial. What matters is that he's calling for a debate, and if you think you are up to the challenge, take him on. I'm sure he'd be more than pleased to oblige.
Politics › Re: Seun Approve This. Nairalanders Support This. Let Us Speak Out. by omenka(m): 7:35pm On Jan 23, 2015
acidtalk:
The PDP and Team Jonathan are ABSOLUTELY FREE to debate the certificate issue. Since it is part of their reason why they think Buhari shouldn't contest.

But please i will want to debate with the very best on the PDP side and i so much pray he brings out the issue of the certificate.
I think there are just two persons on the other side that can engage one intellectually without the usual tantrums PDP supporters thrive on. They are Datolee (Datole?) and perhaps to a far lesser extent some guy named PointB (not too sure since I've engaged him just once). The rest of them are too damn naïve and un-intelligent to have a moment of useful convo with.

I support this course 100%, that is, if they could rise up to the challenge. Remember, even the guy they so ferociously defend absconded from debating with his co-contestants twice in the last elections.
Politics › Re: Attention Seun: by omenka(m): 7:20pm On Jan 23, 2015
Just yesterday, I created a pictorial thread detailing the said rail transformation as it is in makurdi. Despite all the requests, Seun and his band of mods turned a blind eye to it, yet the were quick to move a picture of rail lines on the page of a newspaper 30 years old to the front page. My thread contains over 10pictures of raillines as they currently are in makurdi, but they didn't deem that fp worthy. It is all good.

It's Friday Night guys, and I have a ritual to perform!

Good for us. But can we all see the kind of despicable hypocrites these jonathanians are?? This is the same media house they call all manner of names when they report on the ongoing war in the north east. The say CNN has one mission alone, and that it; to see the capitulation of Nigeria under Boko haram. They say they "support" the terrorists. And now they quote thesame "terrorist sponsors and supporters" and get excited over news emanating from them.

What a sorry bunch.
Politics › Re: Middle-belt Group Dump Buhari And Pledge Their Support To Jonathan by omenka(m): 8:36am On Jan 23, 2015
This is the most idiotic title I've ever seen on a publication. How do you "dump" someone you never "supported"?? When I saw "dump" I thought it was some group that once supported Buhari but has made a "u-turn" and thrown their weight behind Jonathan.

This OP is a disgusting chap I don't even like to quote or dignify with a response to his posts which are main silly and cretinous. Yet this post is different in its silliness and outright idiocy. I am shocked the OP is not ashamed to bring this garbage here which is an insult to to the intelligence of all Nigerians and another indictment of how clueless and destructive the PDP is. PDP, seriously ? huh huh huh huh huh

Is this how desperate the ruling Party is after failing Nigerians for 16 years? Okay let me holla Epe/Ikeja/Surulere folks to vote Agbaje and GEJ to get Epe/Ikeja/Surulere State respectively !!!!!!! While at it, why not promise Abeokuta or Ijebu Ode their own State if they vote for the PDP in Ogun State? Osun nKo? Perhaps Osogbo folks should vote PDP and get their own State !!!! Totally ridiculous and the sort of antics expected from a drowning Party that has nothing to offer the masses and is now only willing to say and do anything, however impractical or silly, that will provide 4 more years to loot the commonwealth of the people on top of the 16 years they have had already.

sincerenigerian:
[b]1. On the Boko Haram Saga in the North: At the initial stage, Jonathan was honest about curtailing the menace in the North-east until he realizes that he would be gaining a political advantage if he left it to spiral out of control. It was a miscalculation on his part. I believe certain people in Jonathan caucus advised him to just ignore the Boko Haram menace and let them continue to kill themselves. By the time Jonathan knew what was going on, Boko Haram has taken over the North-east. Jonathan never took Boko Haram saga serious.

Another angle to Boko Haram is the member of GEJ's cabinet. There are officials who are feeding fat on the issue of Boko Haram. It a big military contract thing for certain people in the government. Ministry of Defense and Nigeria War College have people who have or are massively benefiting from military contracts running into billions of naira. People like Ihejireka and Dasuki Samba are examples. U.S Intelligence published a report about the sudden wealth of Ihejireka.

My Verdict: Jonathan felt letting Boko Haram spread is a win-win situation for him. As it turns out, Boko Haram is now his Achilles Heel.

2. I never believed Jonathan on the refineries promise he made. If you studied Jonathan from the time he came into the office, you would have seen a man with deception all over his face. You look at the president face when he talks and you can see a fake man on display. There is no single promise Jonathan has made in public life that he has fulfilled before. Jonathan is a deceptive man. I knew it when he told the country and backed up by Okojo Iweala that money generated through increase in fuel prices will be used to build refinery and other basic amenities. The sad part is that; Jonathan has awarded the contracts on these refineries running into billions of dollars and nothing has happened ever since. Where are the refineries? What about the city buses? Where are the new universities? Where are the 36 airports promised? This man has never fulfilled a single promise in his public life.

My Verdict: Jonathan is only interested in enriching himself and his cronies through refining of crude oil overseas. Jonathan is more interested in letting the so called crude oil theft continue. Jonathan created avenue to make money for himself and few others. We should not forget how Jonathan seized the surveillance helicopter Amaechi bought for the purpose of surveillance of the areas where crude oil are being stolen. If Jonathan believe in curbing crude oil theft, why did he seize the helicopter bought by River State money?

3. In a sane country, Abba Moro would have been sitting in prison for committing fraud and endangering lives of our young graduates. I have never seen or heard where people pay to apply for jobs except in Nigeria. Minister of Interior established an agency by himself and employed people who were deceiving young graduates to pay money to buy application form. What actually happened would have made a sane government act decisively and prosecute Abba Moro. Jonathan would have been viewed as a president who cares if he had prosecuted Abba Moro. He missed an opportunity. But what he did was to ignore the cries of the family of people who died during the scam job examination.

To the surprise of many people, Jonathan has not asked for the resignation of Abba Moro since this scam happened. Jonathan is now moving from one state to another with Abba Moro campaigning for re-election. grin grin

My Verdict: Jonathan doesn't care. Jonathan has shown to every Nigerians that he is there to protect you in tough times if you are one of people who support his quest for second term as president. It doesn't matter the level of your crime. We have seen it with Moro, FFK, Oduah, Diezani and others.

Politics › Re: In Defence Of Buhari's Statement Of Results by omenka(m): 11:02pm On Jan 22, 2015
Jarus, thanks for this painstaking explanation. The problem is, most of these kids won't read it. They are most likely to open the thread, scroll to the bottom, and then reply with an insult.

The fuel that powers the PDP propaganda machinery is the horde of gullible and genuinely ignorant Nigerians roaming the streets and workplaces. They pick up the lies and satanic distortions to stories, served by the president's handlers, and then spread same like a virus.

All we hope for is to see more and more Nigerians break away from their mould of ignorance and illiteracy, and express themselves independently, effectively relegating the likes of Okupe, Abati and FFK to the back seats.

I hope Seun finds it in his heart to ensure as many people as possible get to read this piece and rid themselves of their ignorance.

Thanks a million.

Seun, Lalasticlala, Obinoscopy, OAM4J, can you see what is going on here?? Just the other day, a picture of a newspaper article written over 30 years ago showing "rail tracks overgrown with weed" was promptly moved to the front page. Here we have over a dozen pictures of rail tracks taken today and yet you guys can't move it to the front page.

Isn't this a blatant show of double standards??
