If omega ROM LATEST VERSION won't get stuck on boot loop I'd say go for it... if it does,opt in for NEATROM LATEST VERSION

Well I'm part of both Teams, Omega Team and Neat ROM Team so I can't actually take sides.

LOL, but TBH I really did enjoy Omega ROM when I used it...if Omega ROM doesn't get stuck on boot loop, I'd always use it without having second thought! NEATROM Is also cool tho:

Mannylex: Stan please help, I flashed omega rom 4.1.2 on my galaxy s2 , but it ended up with a boot loop. It just get to the android animation, gets stuck and restart continuously. I restored the back up of my stock rom, but the same thing continues. .. I have done the factory reset and done all the necessary wipes... Please what next can I do? Must I install a fresh jelly bean again or any shortcut?

Or just flash NEATROM preferably xxlwz 5.0

I have internal beef with omega ROM!! I always get stuck on boot loop...it has only worked for me twice the rest on stuck on boot loop

I learnt Rooting and Upgrading any device with ARM6 Processor would still not make BBM compatible...
Also for ARM7 but a mate on XDA rtj3 has ported a BBM version for ARM7 Devices.

Like i posted earlier, I upgraded a HTC Chacha with 2.3 to 4.2.2 JB
I was only able to install the app, but it Force Closes whenever i open it.. Then i learnt its a ARM6 Device. So its not gonna work!
So if you're gonna Upgrade your device, first get to know What processor u have.

I still doubt that cos it's not FC on INSPIRE 4G 4.2.2 ARMv7

Check if you have S-OFF before you proceed to rooting!! if not check for how to gain S-OFF for your phone model .
check XDA forum for that

then after rooting ,look for a suitable custom ROM and upgrade!!

Not upgradeable

those two phones I named earlier are not upgradeable through firmware,the vest they can both go on is 2.3.6 GB... (check my earlier post where I stated you ROOT and install custom ROM I.e developed by an individual or group so it's not from the phone maker herself

who told you that? I upgraded a friend's HTC DESIRE AND G2 TO 4.2.2 and they are flexing bbm
