He's trying to help you get the information you need yourself. Everything or most of what you'll need and all the answers to your questions are in the first page of this thread. Nothing will happen to him as he has actually done well by answering your question. If you can't do the work, pay a licensed consultant to do all the work for you so you wouldn't need to be on this forum asking for information. You go just dey relax. kingjizz: |

I don't think it's mandatory to explain how you got the money to pay tuition. Only an established person will likey pay his/her tuition. It could as well be savings and deposits from a long time ago. no need to be concerned as you said it's for tuition. so just pay the tuition and tender the receipts. Persons should understand that POF can also achieved by a progressive build-up(savings and deposits) solely for the temporary visa application. As far, in no way these funds associated to being a borrowed amount or a loan(I'm not talking about study loans). Ichabodcrane: |

Because of his lack of transparency he'll be refused. There's nothing wrong with Mpower loans. People have used it and been given visas too. illumined999333: |

Personally? I'd say let your application be. If you didn't submit it's since January and it's not necessary as people without properties have been approved before. However, If you submit the documents, it'll likely delay your application. Depends on you if you feel its worth the wait that you need them to see your valuation certificate. I personally don't think a valuation certificate will sway an officer tremendously to make a favourable decision on your application. Teenwa: |

Yeah, it could happen like that. If that's what you're asking Positiveme2020: |
It's not mandatory but if your motive is to prove ties, birth certificates are the ultimate evidence. Depends on if you think it's worth adding to your documentation or not. Now you may not need to add the birth certificates of all your siblings just for one or two just for the sake of evidential assessment. There are some other unnecessary docs like tax clearance you can drop and so on that aren't as important. Arrange your documents with on a scale of importance and sort accordingly. legenduq: |
These questions are hilarious. You can get a SP but gathering appropriate documents and applying. Go to the first page of this thread you'll see all you need. After securing your visa go to the work permit thread and ask how to secure a work permit.Positiveme2020: |
I already listed the data points you need to provide to prove you are capable as a forex trader. I'm not going to reiterate. If you can't show source. If you like send funds for the four years of study without giving accurate evidence of source of funds. You get nowhere. Goodluck Harold4lyf: |
tobe1997:Students engaging in post-secondary studies in Canada are authorized to change institutions or programs of study within the same institution, provided they are not limited from doing so by conditions imposed on their study permit. However, to assess if a student who has changed institutions or programs of study a number of times should be considered to be actively pursuing their studies, the officer should consider the student’s reasons for the changes. In cases where multiple program or institutional changes do not appear to support the expectation that the student is making reasonable progress toward the completion of a Canadian credential, the officer may determine that the study permit holder has not fulfilled their study permit condition to actively pursue their course or program of study: IRCC WEBPAGE(SOURCE) In summary, you'll be fine. Explain the reasons for this change and update IRCC |
I'm not sure. I know CA doesn't acknowledge Bitcoin/crypto as proof of funds or reliable funds. However, if you're a forex trader as you claim you can therefore prove you are self-employed by listing documentation to verify your claim. Show your trade journals, and provide a verified track record (myfxbook), highlight deposits/profits from your broker(your broker has to be registered, regulated and recognized), your earnings has to be consistent too. Highlight how long you've been trading from your Trading account. I believe trading is a business, so yes with the right documents you can prove your genuineness as an actual fx trader. You might need to show commitments to prove your admissibility and financial competence. The problem here is the 4 years you are going for. You need to have huge funds to show you can manage. Having tuition for all the 4 years is best. Avoid lump sums except you can prove the source. Let's say you have $150,000 in your trading account highlight that it was deposited from your own account with the same name, to verify it's your funds. Besides, which rational entrepreneur just leaves funds laying in his bank account. So they should understand. The issues is where is this lump sum coming from as they believe it could be borrowed and with liens Good luck Harold4lyf: |
Abby212:You should enumerate all the hometies you have. Don't just make assertive statements like "My family will never come to Canada. I must go back home to see my children and spouse. I am just here to study and that's all" obviously a statement will like this helps case. But not your family. At the same time you don't say my family will visit me sometime after I get my visa. Just state that family is a staunch reason to come back to nigeria, talk about why and the importance of your irrefutable bond. It's not like they'll take your word for it or anything. But you making definitive statements like " will never come to Canada". You've already confirmed no matter what you don't plan on seeing them in Canada. But even beyond that this applicant case is different because he has other family members in Canada and the overall feel of the application screams "JAPA". And probably the SOP wasn't well structured. People have gone with families. But you need to do the right things and make sure your application is airtight. Make the Officer know: 1.)Why do you want to reunite with your spouse? 2.)Why go now? 3.)What are the reasons that would make you return? 4.)Do you seem established in your home country that life in Canada doesn't seem like greener pastures? |
1.) Your spouse/a member of your family has family members in Canada (which reduces Hometies) 2.)They have reasons to believe so because they have evidence confirming these family members have valid visas to come or are in Canada 3.)The whole family wants to leave nigeria and come to Canada, which connotes that you are trying to run away from your home country. 4.)Your spouse has explicitly said in his SOP that you will not accompany him to Canada (he probably said to much about it to demonstrate hometies) In summary, your problems are Hometies. Your application is fashioned in a way they are sure you won't return back to Nigeria, based on all the data points they've listed. The way forward? It will be a bit difficult. But whatever solution you come up with will have to fix the problem of home ties. You need to demonstrate you have a valid and logical reason to return to nigeria.Your application isn't for a PR to Canada. you applied for a temporary stay in Canada. and your application will be treated that way especially if they have a wimp you won't come back to Canada, hence breaking the rules attached to their issuance of the visa. What does your pre-assesment say?. Please can I see the Immigration Officer code? ManlikeDee: |
I'm sorry then it's a human error. It's sad. You'd have to reapply hoping this time they will take their time to review your Documentation. These are one of the issues I have with IRCC. Applications are not carefully reviewed. If an officer just had a wimp that the application isn't up to par in his own right he/she rejects. You'll get it in your second trial larryrichie: |

Abeg come help my life. Used polaris. It's been 3 weeks. 1 weeks max bawo Armah22: |
They have concerns and rightfully so as you didn't provide proof of business ownership.i don't think there's anything cryptic there again and your assessment confimed that as the officer said he/she has concerns with your source of funds. Although the assessment is broiler-plate. It's kind of valid as you actually didn't submit your CAC larryrichie: |
Then we can't really understand the context of the PFL. but we know his application is at its final stages. Medicals, criminality, info sharing are complete. Hopefully the PFL is for a charge back/ debt to crown if the outgoing correspondence eventually lands. Teemenzo: |

What does his pre-assesment say?. There's nothing much in this screenshot other than he should be expecting a PFL or should have already received it. Teemenzo: |
Nigerian no dey hear word ![]() Make e no backfire. But there's nothing wrong in sending a reminder to know the status of your application. emmalextemtop: |
You need to apply for a study visa which will qualify you to obtain a study permit at the POE. With your already aquired visitors visa you have a high chance of getting approved for a study visa if you table your application the right way and check all the requirements. If your application is airtight. You'll get your visa at one go. Demmyoged: |

Also, must I submit the back page of my IELTS test result? I am trying to reduce some documents so it can fit into the 2Mb space in the new portal. Thank you.
