LordVarys:Look at this hypocrite saying one thing but, actually meaning the opposite. You started a post with a topic you know very well that will catch peoples' attention, then went on to talk about an allege report on a video which you supposedly do not want people to believe, went further to give your would be readers where they can find the video, you did not stop there but, went even further to give us the site we can get it and the topic of the video. You also told us the number of hit or viewership the video has generated online. As mischievous as you want to be, you now cap your HYPOCRISY by, posting the said video. I don't know if you were so myopic to take we your readers to be your equivalent in your spirit of IMPISHNESS. OP please don't insult our intelligence next time. Be intrepid enough to come out and spit your true intention and don't be DECEITFUL. Thank you |
Firefire:Negotiation you say, i shake my head and wonder why people can not be open-minded for once. They have being negotiating for how many years now, probably before i was born. Israel always come out with one ridiculous condition or reason not to support the outcome of the negotiation. From Camp David to Oslo accord, Israel is not sincere to any dialogue. The last Israeli government that went into genuine negotiation with the Palestinians was the government of Yitzhak Rabin, and what happened to him? He was sadly assassinated in public. Since then every Israeli government have only paid lip serve to the issue of peaceful negotiation. Personally, i will have wished the UN approved the draft resolution for statehood, and then asked Israel to withdraw to the pre-1967 borders as the draft stated. If Israel as any genuine problem with that, then they should go to the UN general assembly and raise it. There last i checked UN is a representation of all nations of the world, so they should raise it there and stop bullying the Palestinians just because they have the backings of some powerful nations of the world. Or they should all accept Palestinians as equal citizens of the country and stop infringing on their rights as human beings and treat them as equals. |

Just saw this online, love and care has no boundary and no limit, even animals are not left out. This can not be better explained than this footage from India A monkey was hailed as a hero after it saved the life of another monkey at the Kanpur train station in India. The fallen monkey was knocked unconscious on the tracks after being electrocuted by walking on wires above. According to news sources, the monkey saved his friend by using what seemed like CPR. At first, the monkey rubs, hits, and even bites his unconscious friend, before dipping him in water. The whole thing was caught on video, and after more than 20 minutes, the electrocuted monkey amazingly started showing signs of life. (Source: DW) I know I'm critiquing monkey resuscitation skills, but the "better bang his head against concrete a few times" method seems a bit odd. At least it worked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSrnbeYIm6o A monkey turned life-saving hero after spending 20 minutes resuscitating his friend who had suffered an electric shock at an Indian railway station and was in danger of being run over by a train. The unlucky victim had been climbing on high tension overhead cables when he zapped himself unconscious and landed in a heap on the tracks. Things were looking grim until another monkey sprang into action hauling his friend up, shaking him, dunking him in water and even biting him on the head in a desperate bid to bring him round. HEARTWARMING moment monkey saves unconscious friend Spark out: The monkey lies unconscious on the railway tracks after getting a shock while climbing on the overhead power cables +7 Spark out: The monkey lies unconscious on the railway tracks after getting a shock while climbing on the overhead power cables Monkey magic: A caring ape attempts to resuscitate his friend who was in danger of being hit by a train +7 Monkey magic: A caring ape attempts to resuscitate his friend who was in danger of being hit by a train +7 Wake up: The Primate paramedic spent around 20 minutes trying to revive his stricken friend But still the wounded animal refused to wake up forcing the primate paramedic to take the drastic action of dunking him in a pool of water next to the tracks. Happily that seemed to work and after some 20 minutes out cold the wounded monkey slowly opened its eyes while his friend hauled him off to a safe spot moments before a train pulled in. Delighted commuters standing on the platform at the station in India's northern city of Kanpur filmed the action on mobile phones and cheered as the rescue unfolded. And as if saving his life wasn't enough the hero monkey even treated his friend to an impromptu grooming session by the side of the tracks. +7 The hero monkey tried a variety of moves as he tried to bring his friend round including hitting, biting and slapping Last ditch: With his friend still unconscious the rescuer monkey decides to try dunking him in cold water +7 Last ditch: With his friend still unconscious the rescuer monkey decides to try dunking him in cold water Cold water treatment: The rescuer tries a new tactic and dunks his friend in a pool between the railway tracks +7 Cold water treatment: The rescuer tries a new tactic and dunks his friend in a pool between the railway tracks +7 Best of primates: The rescuer then even treated the victim to a grooming session next to the tracks Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2883330/Hero-monkey-spends-20-minutes-resuscitating-friend-knocked-shock-electric-rail-SAVES-train-pulls-in.html#ixzz3MorWpHyy |

AB$I: If a Yoruba man converts to islam he will do it out of genuine conviction and will hardly or forcefully take any kind of compensation for such. But ibos are just disgraceful. For a penny he will sell his soul and his mother's to SATAN Do you have to be so insulting and ethnocentric in your view? Does everything have to be Ibos vs Yorubas? Did you noticed in the malicious article that they were all not Ibos, the was a Yoruba and Akwa Ibom also. Wake up and GROW up the world is not waiting for YOU. Its funny how people quickly jump into conclusion, i don't believe this information (news). Anyone reasonable person will know that this journalist is being puckish and mischievous with this misrepresentation of facts. This is one very poor journalism, its journalist like this who take advantage of freedom of speech to misinform people that have made countries like Kenya want to regulate free press. The question any discerning person[/b] should ask is " what is the money for?" to thank them for coming to Islam and encourage them to stay in Islam or what ? How do they monitor these people they have given the money to make sure that they do not go back to their former religion? If monetary reward is the motivation for reverting to Islam, then everybody can claim he or she is reverting or converting take the money and then travel and go back to his religion. haka_nai(m): Quote Post LOL!!!! Ribadu speaks on dismissal, demotion reversed from police - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/10/got-police-dismissal-demotion-reversed-ribadu Former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu yesterday said the decision by the Police Service Commission (PSC) to demote him, and later dismiss him from the Nigeria Police Force was nulled by the court, necessitating reversal of the action taken by the government. Ribadu was dismissed from the Police in controversial circumstances in 2008. He was to flee the country after two failed assassination attempts on him. Against the backdrop of some insinuations that he got back his rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in 2010 out of magnanimity, the former EFCC boss said he actually won a case against the government on rash action taken against him. Speaking yesterday at a public lecture to mark the official opening of a new Law office of a renowned Lagos lawyer, Mr Tayo Oyetibo, SAN, Ribadu said it was Mr. Oyitebo that handled the case on his behalf. Describing the case as one of Oyitebo’s many “many historic victories” Ribadu recalled that the lawyer succeeded in having “the decision reversed and my ranks restored”. He said the action of Oyitebo was “a huge favour which I may never be able to repay, except with these tokens of gratitude”. “I’m here today not just to honour my brother Barrister Tayo Oyetibo, SAN, but to sincerely express a depth of gratitude for his selfless contributions to my personal and public service career. My relationship with this remarkable lawyer is one for which I must forever remain grateful. He has stood with me, believed in my causes while I was at EFCC and dedicated his time and resources to representing us pro bono.” Ribadu also recalled the contributions of several other legal practitioners who supported his tenure at the EFCC and beyond as well as some operatives of the commission who payed the supreme price in the line of duty. He said, without the sacrifices and support of those individuals, the commission, then under his leadership, may not record as much successes as it did within the six years of his stewardship at the EFCC. “I want to seize this opportunity to thank the brilliant lawyers and brothers who stood for us and provided us with their free legal service at the EFCC, especially at the time we were under tremendous pressures in our struggles to carry out assignments considered impossible by detractors. These are distinguished lawyers and models for the practising and aspiring lawyers. “I will forever remain indebted to the late Chief Gani Fawehinmi, his Chamber and family, for standing with us, and representing us in courts without asking for a kobo. Chief Gani was swift in challenging the decision to have me vacating office for a course at Nigerian Institute of Policy and Strategic Study (NIPSS). “The sacrifices of Barrister Femi Falana, SAN, and Chamber, including his successful defence of the case filed against me by the then Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Michael Aondoakaa at the Code of Conduct Tribunal over a false claim of my failure to fill out the asset declaration form as a public servant, were also favours no man can ever repay. This was among the many cases Mr Falana successfully handled for me and the EFCC at no cost of ours while I was in charge. “I must also thank my friend and classmate, Barrister Charles Musa and Chamber and my younger brother Barrister Ahmed Uwais and Chamber, who participated in these historic struggles of my career, and invested their time and resources for my sake, and the sake of the nation. I must also commend the Nigerian judiciary for being the shade inside which our hope was restored. We don’t come across kind-hearted people like them everyday. “Similarly, I wish to remember some of our hardworking colleagues and brothers lost in this struggle for the redemption of our beloved nation: Muazu, our forensic expert, who was killed in the front of his family; Danjuma Mohammed, also lost in similar inhuman state, in his residence at Apo, Abuja; M. Abba, who was burnt alive in Abuja inside his car. It can’t be worst than that. These were evil ploys carried out by enemies of the nation to have us cowered! - See more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/10/got-police-dismissal-demotion-reversed-ribadu/#sthash.JeEJQFZn.dpuf This is not about Ribadu, but, about the numerous Nigerians helping to make Nigeria a better place. I will like to state that i am pleased and happy with the way Ghanaians have carried themselves. The sense of belonging, the undeniable patriotism displayed and the spirit of unity and togetherness exhibited by the average Ghanaian for his country is unparalleled. With this verdict, i believe Ghanaians can now come together to help build their country. I hope Africans as a whole will also learn a thing or two from this. I will like the MOD to move this to the front page pl. It about our west African brothers |
The Supreme Court has confirmed President John Dramani Mahama as the “validly elected” president of Ghana and winner of the 2012 presidential election. The nine-member panel presided over by Justice William Atuguba refused to annul the over four million votes which the petitioners said were added to President John Mahama’s to make him win the 2012 elections. The petitioners who filed the petition challenging the results of the 2012 presidential elections were seeking to have the votes annulled and have subsequently declare the presidential candidate of the 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as the winner of the December 2012 elections. Giving the ruling Justice William Atuguba said: “this is the decision we have arrived at after scrutinizing of the petition, we have found out that the issues to be determined are as set out, at page 125 the counsel for the petitioners as follows: Over voting, voting without biometric verification, through absence of the signature of the presiding officer and duplicate serial numbers. We unanimously dismiss the claims relating to duplicate serial numbers, duplicate polling station codes.” Per the ruling, President John Dramani Mahama remains president of the country. Three key members of the party, Chairman of the NPP Mr Obetsebi Lamptey, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, his running mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia filled the petition at the Supreme Court to challenge the results of the 2012 presidential elections. I came across this article on yahoo on the DOUBLE STANDARD of USA: How the U.S. helped Saddam Hussein use chemical weapons against Iran LikeDislike . View gallery The U.S.'s role in the Iraq-Iran war was greater than previously believed. Harold Maass 8 hours ago The Week Politics & GovernmentMilitary & DefenseSaddam HusseinIranPresidency of Barack ObamaIraqChemical weapon Washington is apparently ready to punish Syria for using poison gas, but a generation ago the calculus was different As the Obama administration mulls a military response to punish Syria for allegedly using poison gas to kill hundreds of people in a rebel stronghold, Foreign Policy reports that the U.S. didn't always play the role of the good guy when it came to the use of chemical weapons. Near the end of Iraq's war with Iran 25 years ago, the U.S., using satellite imagery, warned Iraq that Iranian troops were moving to exploit a hole in its defenses, according to Foreign Policy, citing recently declassified Central Intelligence Agency documents and interviews with former intelligence officials. U.S. officials shared the information with Iraq even though they knew that Saddam Hussein's military was likely to respond by attacking with the lethal nerve agent sarin and other chemical weapons — and he did, killing thousands. SEE ALSO: 7 tips for keeping your man (from the 1950s) The documents show that then-CIA Director William J. Casey, a close friend of then-President Ronald Reagan, had been told about Saddam's push to make enough mustard gas to keep up with demand on the front lines. "If the Iraqis produce or acquire large new supplies of mustard agent, they almost certainly would use it against Iranian troops and towns near the border," the CIA said in one top secret document. The new evidence suggests that the Reagan administration decided it was better to let Iraq continue with its attacks — and even point out potential targets — than let the war tip in favor of Iran's mullahs, who at the time were seen as the greater threat. The latest revelations "are tantamount to an official American admission of complicity in some of the most gruesome chemical weapons attacks ever launched," say Shane Harris and Matthew M. Aid at Foreign Policy. SEE ALSO: The ObamaCare provision that young Republicans love The report fills in some important blanks about the U.S. role in the Iran-Iraq war, but Foreign Policy isn't the first to uncover evidence that Washington had a pretty good idea what Saddam's forces were up to. Here's Max Fisher at The Washington Post: It's worth noting that academic studies, not to mention U.S. government documents released in 2003, had long ago revealed that the U.S. knew that Iraq was deploying chemical weapons against Iran and still provided Saddam Hussein with intelligence assistance. The CIA documents released this week add important new documentation to that, but the timing of their release — as the U.S. considers whether or how to respond to Syrian chemical weapons use — and their portrayal as revelatory has generated significant controversy in U.S. foreign policy circles. [Washington Post] However, it does somewhat undercut the Obama administration's claim to higher ground. Conor Friedersorf at The Atlantic: When humans find themselves greatly empowered, and able to act in secret, they often do morally monstrous things, sometimes with the best of intentions. Part of our job as citizens is to never trust our leaders with that sort of unchecked power, for their sake, for ours, and for the sake of the world. That's easy to see when looking back at the bad behavior of leadership a couple decades ago. But those men were no more or less moral than the people leading us today. [The Atlantic] http://news.yahoo.com/u-helped-saddam-hussein-chemical-weapons-against-iran-161600457.html It is very disgusting when you look at the hypocritical nature of USA when relating to moral standard. Chemical weaponry possession and its usage in any form should be condemn by all human institutions, but, to encourage the usage when it applies to your suppose friends and only condemn when it is against you or use by your presume enemies to not only disgusting but, also insulting to the intellectual fabric of the larger human society. No family, community and human society knows peace if the is no sense of justice, US has shown time and again that they are not fit to be a leader of modern human societies which they have made themselves. This is due mainly to their double standard when relating to their follow human societies. US has been singing to the whole world that their the champions of democratic principle which some gullible people actually believe but, will at the same time be the first to bed any dictator who is ready to romance with them at the disadvantage of it citizenry. US has everything at its disposal to be a true MORAL STANDARD TOUCH BEARER if only their citizens will really educate themselves on the happens of the world in relating to the harms their government is causing in their name. Not to sit there and say Iran is state in Canada like some said when they were asked on CNN or North Korea is a city. NOTHING REMAINS PERMANENTLY IN THE SKY |
