Something i will like us all to know is that, translated works all always the understandings of the translator or translators. It can never be like reading the original language version. As most of us know, human beings are unique entities. Our outlook to things and life is different, so is our understandings.

Therefore, no one can tell me, someones understanding of something will definitely be the same understanding as another person. These goes to prove that translations can never replace the original versions in their language of compilations.

Yeah, i know they are recruiting in Ghana, but, Glo Ghana is not taking any Nigerian or anyone living in Nigeria. That was what i was told by one of their officials. Am Nigerian even though i have work permit, i was told i will not be taken bcose am a Nigerian. This happened when i went to Ghana recently. They ask is Allah God, Please ask them what do Arab Christians call God in Arabic?. Even CNBS accepted that God in Arabic is Allah. We don't need them to certify whether Allah is God or not. All Arabs both Christians and Muslim call God almighty by a name, what is this name??

My brother i also read that book " Who is this Allah", but, thank Allah it rather strengthened my faith . The writer could not come out with a name for God in Arabic, he rather asked the CNBS to stop calling God Allah. What even caught my attention is the book's conclusion, where the writer said and i quote " If Allah is really the True God and He revealed The Holy Quran, then they Christians are only fighting a lost battle". Allihamdullilahi Allah is the True God and He revealed The Holy Quran, therefore what??. I leave the answer for them to answer.

Having read through most of the replies posted concerning this topic, and it is funny to think that some people believe Gani does not deserve to be mention when it comes to noble peace prize, or should i say, He can't win the award in question if he were to be nominated. This leave me to wonder what this afore mentioned award is anyway, and what are the conditions that necessitate the winning of the said award.

In as much as i will not like to give the impression as being one of those who do not like to welcome opposing views, i will beg to disagree with some of the opinions being express on this trend. Base on the knowledge i have concerning noble peace prize, i believe when one uses any measuring criteria to weigh the achievements Chief Gani of blessed memory, he deserve to have won the noble peace prize by now. Before anyone begins to criticize me concerning my opinion, they should first of all go check on Aung San Sun Chi "the Myanmar noble peace prize winner", her records are not better off than Ganis' in anyway, but, she won the peace prize years back. She happens to be a democratic activist like Gani. whose father happen to be the first Prime Minister of the then Burma who was kill. Ever since, she has dedicated her live and resources to ensuring that democracy is establish in her country, all the same, she was awarded the noble peace prize. When one now compare her with Gani who not born into any political elite family, it leaves one to wonder if Chief Gani really deserve the noble peace prize.

I can go on and on to prove that Gani was more than qualified for the noble peace prize, but it was unfortunate that his achievements was not recognize by the committees in charge of selecting people for noble peace prize. But i know every Nigerian recognizes him and appreciate all his efforts at making sure the rights of the average Nigerian is protected. Even his suppose enemies respect and hate to love him for his doggedness and selflessness. I believe by God's grace his efforts will never go to waste if not in this world in there Hereafter (Insha Allahu).

He is resting in the bosom of the Creator of heavens and earth for that is the ultimate award and reward.

Please, my comparing Gani with the noble peace prize winner should not be misinterpret to be that i am trying to belittle Aung San Sun Chi's achievements. She is and she will continue to be an icon in her country.

Let us all have it at the back of our minds that the ultimate award should be the reward of HEAVEN.

It is IRONIC that a bunch of EGOCENTRIC, SELFISH, MEDIOCRE and lack of focus players who call themselves SUPER CHICKENS could not beat a DETERMINE, SELFLESS, FOCUS TUNISIAN TEAM. I remember tell my colleagues in ABJ immediately after the draws that we might be disgrace by this Tunisian team, and they asked me to hold my peace, that it can never happen.

I knew this will happen, because of the collection of hasbeens we have who can not hold their own when it matters. These so call super chickens still Thinks we are in the 19th century when matches are won base on name and past glories. These players have really not learnt their lesson yet after the African cup disaster. After winning against teams like Guinea Bissau and Sierra Leone, they think , they have arrived. They seriously lack focus and are all selfish (excluding Osaze), patriotism does not flow in their blood. Some of them think, they are better than there whole country (MIKEL).

Look at the Black Stars of Ghana, when they play, you see the determination in them. They all want to achieve something for their country and themselves, not like the majority of super chicken players who think their on top of the world. Mikel virtually started with Messi, see where Messi is now, some small success he achieved in Chelsea has entered his head. Recently, i travelled and met a Ghanaian whom i engaged in sport discussion with, and when we started talking about the Nigerian senior national team, the first question he asked me was, why do we still use MIKEL, because he sees lack of commitment in him anytime his playing for the national team. I actually, did not dispute what he said, i only said i don't know why he is still being given a call up.

Today, the Black Stars have qualified with two round of matches left to go, that is how winners are made of .

Ever since i came down to this country, i have been amaze by the level of not only insult but fraudulence the so call government of Nigeria allow to be perpetuate by these callous individuals and organisations.

How on earth will you ask a young graduate who have gone through countless strikes, burnt countless candles and finally graduated to now pay not for employment but, pay before his name can even be consider for employment. They come through different means, but, all still point Mr. EXPLOITATION.

The irony of it is that, 99% of this applicants will not be given employment. What is GSE? If it is GSE i need to be given employment then, why go to the university in the first place. No wonder, corruption is everywhere.

What i think should be done is, these organisation should allow any qualified graduate to apply free of charge then, those who are finally employed are made to pay an amount upon collection of their employment letters. Even this should be with the approve of the employing company or it can be agreement with the company. This will go a long way in saving a lot of graduate the stress of being in debts you don't know you are going to pay, thereby, reducing fraudulence.

Anything else is nothing but, broad day rubbing. The government should put some mechanism in place to check in disguise.

In as much as you can't ask someone to pay for goods he did not buy, then, you should not ask someone to pay for service(employment) not rendered.

You are spot on. However, only those who have experienced this bitter truth and genuine Christians would agree with you. Only a few people understand that what Muslims mean when they say that their religion is the religion of "peace" is that they are only peaceful with you when you are a Muslim, as long as you are not a Muslim they see you as an enemy that ought to be eliminated. This is not to say that Muslims cannot be nice to you whenever they want but the spirit behind their religion is what inspires them to kill, especially after they have been incited from their friday prayers.

They may have it in their Koran that Allah is loving but what it means is that Allah is only loving to those who are Muslims and that he can also scheme and deceive people into hell. So when Christians hear them say that Islam is a religion of peace or that Allah is loving they should look at the context in which they are saying these things and be aware of what they mean, because as Christians the Bible says God is love, that is, the source of love and He has shown this love by sending Jesus, His only Son, just as Abraham was willing to sacrifice Isaac his son because of the love he had for God. Jesus in turn showed His love for us that He laid down His life for His friends, He died as a sacrifice and atonement for our souls so that we will not die eternally. This kind of love, agape, is different from what the Muslims understand as love. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the Uncreated Creator of the whole universe and heaven loves mankind not regarding whether you know him or not, the difference is that God loves, even His human enemies that He has forgiven them through His Son, Jesus Christ, and it is now left for us to accept this forgiveness, to turn it down will be an insult to God and for this reason there will be no mercy at the judgment throne after death other than to satisfy the eternal justice.

Knowing the true nature of what inspires Muslims and what they mean by peace and love, we should not be too worried about them, we should be praying for them that the God of love and the Prince of peace will reveal Himself to them so that they would know that they have been deceived. The kinds of people we should be careful of are those who call themselves "christians" but are wolves in sheep's clothings. Jesus warned us about them that it is not all who call me Lord, Lord that will enter the kingdom of God. You will see many examples of them here on Nairaland, religion section who claim to be christians but Jesus has warned us that by their "fruits you shall know them" .
