I am just realizing how much talents we have on board here and for the very first time, all being eager to work in a collab project and for the VERY FIRST TIME. I'm still shocked that nobody has asked who was going to pay for the project too. Are we all not Nigerians again or have we lost our identities? Who say Nigeria no fit better if we say and work to it na big liar and winchie #AnAside

Pls @all, spaces still dey and plenty. Just download the document and do the contributors assignment at the end. If we are up to 50 then we'll have different choices to make from what we output and that calls for better output. Please, keep coming on board.

WebmastersRe: Pls Help Me O O O by OmniPotens(m): 5:56pm On Sep 18, 2011
In real, they may be right. If they say so then there is something wrong. I've also experienced such and in fact, I had to discontinue the use of the script. If they can help you with regaining access into your Admin dashboard, u go ahead and disable the script else login to your Hosting Panel and delete the script hoping u still have a copy locally. Once done, alert them to see if there are any issues and if your blog comes back online. This is something you gradually solve with understanding else you remain offline.

Thanks for your cooperation too.

WebmastersRe: Calling On All Web Designers/developers: Redesign Of Nigeria.gov.ng by OmniPotens(m): 8:01pm On Sep 17, 2011
So far so good. I've got the minimum required number here but I have excess though. All those not within the scope of Web development/designing don't think you are out of it all. Nothing is not needed here; all is needed. You just hang on for the phase 1 which is the website to get completed then other phases will require other programmings from different angels. At that point, I will get your hands dirty with works.

Thanks for the cooperation so far. We hope to start furthering talks by tomorrow since we've got the minimum required number. If you still want to be a part of the team, please don't hesitate to list your name. No talent is a waste. Your idea could be the perfect idea required to get the project more successful.

Happy weekend to you all!

@instinct:
The required number of people is yet complete. Until we are then we move on to the next stage.

Home page or no home page, we are on to something serious and so we need more of concentration to deliver than getting the best of attention and in the end, we don't deliver at all. If we over publicize this so much and don't end up with something at all or even better than the existing website then we would have gotten our names may be I will put it as "dirty and stained".

Egoism definitely is expected to arise so we need to be prepared to face it but with maturity in us, we are sure to get over it.

i feel your pain sha. i have met those kinda clients. trust me. na warri i dey hustle of all places. but na for the same warri i dey get blue chip clients that if you do a very good job for them go market u give their millionaire friends and the best part? no pricing. dem don know how the price be

alternatively broaden your scope. nor be only web design we do die put. i don dey into SEO, Google adwords and facebook consultancy, custom google apps email services. etc. so even if you go pitch and the company say dem get website. i bet you dem nor get all those services above

in addition, nor vex for 50k or 20k jobs. just get a plethora of cheap developers as your friends, e get one guy when dey advertiste for facebook say 10k for website. contact the guy. if you see 20k job. put 10k for pocket while blowing your roasted groudnut in your left hand and dancing galala.

Finally, for the main time find other hustle or job to support your self so you go fit dey pick and choose clients. cos if hunger whine you belle ehn. u go do dose jobs o. hunger nor wan hear professionalism or UI specialist. that one serious opilolo cheesy

finally, if you have to accept a crappy job to survive. Then do a crappy job. no need to waste your time on it. and make sure not to put your website link on the client website.

Aproko: Ask dual core how im dey do am. lol. i dey try recruit am but the dude nor get time, means too much project and too much money wink
BOLD <p>: That is equal to hit and run and deny oooo  grin

Naija man will agree sharp sharp o. It seems you are not crowded by these whacky people I am talking about at all. If you step outta your gate sometimes, you'll even be surprised that they put a bill waiting for your pick up and once you open it, na vex and cry you go dey cry seeing how your profession is being insulted. It's too annoying and I just have to use this opportunity to voice it out.

Nice points discussed in here so far. Just that I was expecting one of those 10,000 web designers to come in here and say something but they seem to scare themselves out of this. angry

I am still taking the numbers down. As at the time of my posting, we 9 in number. More hands needed. @ajaxify
Those video learners, what do we call them now; Developers or Designers or what? Now you see how they started their life and don't know anything on the profession. Next thing they do is to put up some pricing that you get mad at when you see them.

@yawa-ti-de
I got your point clearly. You still put your bids as a professional but how about these other spoilers that just come to tap from the industry not minding what their actions result to? After all, they are not living from the industry so if it goes into extinction, they don't care. What do you have to say with regards them?

Consider this thread sticky too when the audience is up to expectation.

Count me 1.

Project specifications too matter here. I've got ideas to what we can output as well.
