You can request a custom programmed software tailored down to your requirement and need. Just connect me if you need something like that. My email is on my profile. Safe! |
Nice info. Thanks for the update! |
#Suggestion 1 Payment gateway Challenge: Battle InterSwitch, Etranzact, etc and get something good enough we can call a Nigerian payment gateway Target: Nigerian paypal More suggestions still to roll out. @Fayimora I need your contact info. My email is on my profile. |
Now you can see that you never talked about anything nulled but I brought the issue up because I knew that was another avenue that hacking attempts could come from but in your case I have not said "it is where it came from." See if you can get on without the nulled thing to see if the attacks still come through. |
What hack attempt was made and what do you think is their target? What plugins did you install? Are you using a theme that's nulled? Hope you checked they are not having any scripts attached which verifies domain names using their themes to see if they were genuinely purchased? You have to verify all these ok? Why not still install only the WordPress framework and see if they'll hack it down too. That will give you an insight into what actually is happening |
Not at all. Your choice. I was only drawing your attention to them in case you hated WordPress. |
I think you need to know from where your attack came from. You also need to harden your WordPress installation too. Know what plugins you are installing as well. There are even some plugins that will help you with most of these mod_rewrite or .htaccess configurations. Don't forget to check your file permissions too. In summary, before you come out and acclaim something is not functional, first of all ensure that you took all necessary precautions to satisfy that errors are not from your end. I think what you should do is just to install only the WordPress framework then try hacking it. If you easily get that then you can alert us again. But after installing all your plugins and you hack and succeed then you can start figuring out where your problem is coming from. I will suggest you try to look into the make up codes of the plugins you are installing. Not the best to just auto install them without knowing what the codes look like. I was thinking you were going to switch to either Joomla or Drupal but you are sticking back to WP, ![]() Safe! |
If you complain about HTML 4 then get to HTML 5 too and see more additions. Try see CSS 3 too. I hope you can answer your questions too assuming you also understood what @yawa-ti-de was point out #NoMoreCheating ![]() |
Is your website running on WordPress? What plugins are you using and how secure too is your hosting server? What satisfies the fact that actually it was the framework that created the loop and not as a result of the running plugins or insecurity of your hosting server? |
I also hope you read this from the URL you pointed out as well. http://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress You also should know what plugins you use and what codes make them up too. Get all these to safety and when they all fail you, you can raise an alarm else don't because further claims from many other posts all later posted safe again and I am yet to figure out why. I guess after you verification you might end up like them too. Safe! |
And what's their complains? Did you run a vulnerability test to ascertain that it is vulnerable to XSS attacks? |
I guess you should read deeper to see another post http://www.hungry-hackers.com/2011/08/false-alarm-xss-vulnerability-in-wordpress-321.html Now summarize for us please. |
Too bad oooooooooo |
Dual Core: |
Better watch it before people that depend on it will swear for you o. You think it's all that have the time to start learning around the HTML syntax. |
I really think they should be banned because those that use them are faster in development timing because of the drag and drop features. I though have not delivered any project using any of them because in truth, I can't efficiently use them. They don't work for me. But learning and knowing what codes work at the background of all those drags and drops really makes much sense. Let them be there but users should endeavour to know what goes at the backend in case of scenarios as this on this thread. |
Suggestion: Try learn to use them well and you will not even need to know the codes that link them up. If you did know the hyperlink syntax well then I'm not sure you will want to bring up this issue here. I bet you will be asked to paste your navigation codes soon and then you will be sorry you ever asked the question. You can visit www.w3schools.com for additional tutorials on this. |
@WebMonk Well spoken. But I still don't see why developers withhold some of these details because any company can hold you responsible for the leak of their private data. I once had an issue like that so since then, once I drop your job, I tender everything to you. People take unnecessary risks anyways. @poster pls follow the directives of @WebMonk |
Everyday new things keep surfacing. It's good o |
Pls specify who you are referring to here. With regards the issue at hand, hmmm, Is not like Seun himself is not trying to bring in one or two changes. I can swear it that in the past say 2 years now, there have been plans as to what to do and not do in order to keep things way up. I communicate with Seun and know what goes around his mind but in all, it's not easy. You ever thought about the SPAM thing? In order to keep away our spammers, he brought in the issue of the automatic spam bot which controlled things automated although it still needs more improvements so as not to make people so pissed and vexed. The forum going offline most times at about 7:00 AM daily was another hard issue that even led to losing some backups. I don't know if anyone noticed that in the past. SMF is a one way kind of thing that all can install and use but just install mods and make things better. Depending on the terms of use, I don't think someone can actually pick and re-develop the entire project expect by approaching the owners and joining the SMF Team develop an entire new range of product. Once made public then, What I think can be done ACTUALLY here is developing a new interface with good GUI. He (Seun) can then ask peeps to drop in their plugins personally developed. Tests can be ran and then get them used. Owners can still get to submit to SMF and still cheap in their "contribute to my plugin development" link so as to earn some 1kobo in return. Outside these, I think there is one other alternative. GET A TEAM AND DEVELOP A NIGERIAN MADE FORUM. It will be tailored to set/mapped plans. With it, you have a lot of flexibilities to do as you want. We can do it. It will take time and reviews and all but the end point is what matters. I believe everyone can be beaten no matter who he/she is. Now check out Google+ and tell me if with their tour you are not thinking they have beaten Facebook and others. I can still tell you something here. Even the Google+ still lack some features. Yes, someone can still come up and get at all their features, mixed with those of other social networks then add in new features not yet included anywhere and that's a new swing for all. Accepted, Seun is contented by the stress he is receiving at present with the forum but I think he still can move way forward. DON'T BELIEVE YOU ARE STOPPABLE. THE LIMIT YOU PLACE BECOMES YOUR LIMIT. ►►► nExT ♫♫♫♫♫ |
Please what happened to the web pages there before? What existed there was better than this a million times. Hmmm, Where's the IT skill on that work uploaded there? |
Why not try a redesign so to immediately attract your visitor on visit? Once the design is better then other features like the music listing can be looked at, followed by your adverts, etc. Hope you get my point? You should start from the design then other things come along. |
Nice try since you say it's your "first professional job". -Your DOCTYPE show's you're working on HTML4. I'd suggest to step up at least to XHTML. Might not look so important but really it is. -The div containing your logo, don't you think it's taking up some good spaces. Try reduce the size as well as the logo size too. Content of the website is what matters most other than the logo. -Try align your navigation menu to center -The div below the navigation menu, what actually is it for? Is not serving any purpose, consider removing entirely or reduce the size. -The div containing the animations, why not try reduce size a little bit. Point is you can have an almost a no scroll web page there. All your contents are just delivered on one page. ------ Those are from your index page For the other pages that contain images and text, why not try and implement the same image placement technique you used for the pages under "http://on.nigautoguide.com/programmes/" section. It will help you save up more spaces and your work more presently. Your contact page is still missing. Try fix it up. I'm hoping you won't miss you contact form there as well. Great job. Keep it coming. Good morning! |
Now this one is really funny, i typed "olodo rabata" - google even helped me to autocomplete the rabata - and of course, the number one site is nairaland.
So who is teaching google all these languages? hmmm, Oh my Nairaland, what word used as keyword will not bring up results from your pages? |
u can learn anything in 7 days and perhaps know enough to get something going. But can you master it enough to do stuff that will last you a lifetime? Na im d koko
Mastery is the issue. Learning and knowing is another. Just like people attend seminars and learn how to perform one or two tasks with Adobe PhotoShop; does that now make you a qualified and satisfied Adobe PhotoShop professional? Your answer is as good as mine. Whatever is worth learning is worth learning and mastering well. |
