@alleno Is that why for me? If yes, then I call it a rhetoric why ![]() |
For that kind gesture, you'll land yourself some banner designs. Connect me through my email which is on my profile. Simplicity is a virtue I believe in. Not easy to acquire that. ![]() |
Really? So trying to let the bot release your reply to your thread is now a child's play. I'm outta here. If I'd seen this earlier before now I wouldn't have moved towards the unblocking of your response but since I have, good luck. ![]() I got just |
:d :p |
@bug kai, I didn't take note of this your reply in time oooooo. Well, I think I don't need to dream or think about recalling your id. It is simple to recall. Seun must read your reply and take necessary actions on you ![]() |
I'm checking to ensure I haven't lost mine. Where's my faith? ![]() @yawa I still got no words for you oooo |
@DC you are not serious. I'll get that reply up asap ![]() |
Just finished going through the mini-book. Nice ideologies for intending clients. I guess developers/ designers could always forward a copy of this to their clients to make them have a better understanding of processes they should embark on before they finally hand over projects for development/ designing. Thumbs up man. Talk the Talk and Work the Work |
Nice one for the month of July. Common buddies, get busy downloading and reading or better, studying. Don't forget to drop your feedback after going through the piece. Kudos WebMonk! |
Pls get back the previous site ooooo. Nice work anyway. Keep the coding coming. We are looking out for better and better applications from Nigerian Developers |
My eyes saw nothing but I guess I peeped at @Yawa |
Is there a special way for uploading it? Why not talk about any error if that is what you are experiencing. Be more specific else you will get answers like simply follow the Joomla upload instructions on her website. |
@educations Firstly, you will need to get to your email box and reply to mails. Once I get a reply then I know you are real and I will be ready to further this discussion. If you are not okay with that then I'm out of it. I simply can't accept to work for a bot but I can work for a human (man) like myself. Hope to get a mail reply ![]() |
quadrillio:An addition. The URL should be that pointing towards your webmail URL from your host company. Just just copy and paste as he provided but a demo link. |
Just too interesting to know you check your mails but how come your auto responder replies and yet you never get to respond or are you gathering emails for email marketing? I don't think you login to your mailbox else, @HC thanks for this very important question. |
I think all these arguments are really not worth the time wasting. You all have just deviated from what the poster asked or wanted. CMS coded and left as Open Source is not a bad idea. Provided it was coded but the essence is just to make the web world easier to utilize that is what I think. Instead of making things much easier and scaring people out of the web technology, Open Source came to the rescue. The next generation of Open Source is development of Plugins either personal or Open Source. The truth is there are not the Plugins to satisfy all needs and developers only tune and develop according to their own ideology not what the next person have in mind and most time those that use it fine tune their clients to use only within the context of the available Plugins not what the client need. Better option is we learn and develop ours too and make Open Source for others to use. Refer to @dhtml* and he will tell you more about it as he does plenty of those. End point is get back to the posters original post and stop battles for now. |

@Donpuzo I get your point but I really think if you develop some kind of layouts using IE 8 and FF view, IE 6 might want to tell you that 1px extra added to a width that is not noticed by the later browsers should be removed. Checking them out on FF, Chrome, FF, IE 7 & 8, the layout will be as you wanted. Viewing from IE 6, you'll so hate the browser for ever trying to come into existence considering what you will undergo searching for the 1px. I still see the sense of having IE 6, installed somewhere for local test before upload. @inf8nity Nice idea man about the alert thing. You can go ahead and drop the code for other users. Looking at your point, it really makes sense with that kind of alert to upgrade browsers but if you were at a cybercafe in Nigeria, what happens? You are still fighting to get steady with the Internet connection not to talk about downloading and installing any thing. |
Nice point. Hoping to hear others point of view on this. |
Assuming you had no access to IE6 on your computer and you developed a really big portal based on the appearance of the preview from Google chrome, Opera and Mozilla Firefox; what happens when you after launch preview it on IE6 and see that the layout was messed up, will you make a redirect to a custom 404 page asking the user to upgrade his browser in other to view the portal or will you start tweaking your CSS file all in the name of trying to get IE6 to become compatible? |
www.google.com holds many websites where you can download JQuery Image Slides. Start the search and I hope you don't get confused making choices. |
Is it still a good idea to consider IE6 while designing layouts for websites or is IE6 deprecated already? Please backup your answers with reasonable explanations that are arguable. |
Needless calling them criminals. They only opened up their stores and displayed their products. They never forced you to buy. You get in, shop and pay your bills or leave. Just as simple as that. You can either stay with them or leave them. |

Why not simply code your links as they should be, example: <ul> <li><a href="your_target.extension" title="target_name">Home</a></li> <li><a href="your_target.extension" title="target_name">About</a></li> <li><a href="your_target.extension" title="target_name">Contact</a></li> </ul> After you have done this, then duplicate your index page and rename them according to your links. Next, edit the contents of the pages and it is good to go. Note: This is just a very simple approach. If you really knew what you learnt, this section shouldn't be a problem at all to you but, just get busy practicing more. |
Do you mean that you can only design the index page but find it difficult designing the other pages? |
Livezilla is cool but if you don't know the install process, it will get you so bored and uneasy to use. |
Hope you will not ask me for #100K for the info? I'll wait for a reply here before I send an email |
