In what year did Christmas & New Year's fall in the same year?
...every year sir. Mew year is Jan. 1st amd Xmas is 25th december of every year. |
PURPLE. ... Infotainment |
ikecinho:Na cash I wan sell am sir. I am upgrading to a bigger bike & its nt ideal that I keep 2 bikes at a time. I can send you the pix if you give me ur email or bbm pin. Compliments of the season. |
Dollerman:Seasons greetings. I have a Yamaha R6 2007 model for sale. I can send you its pictures if you are interested. |
Lavidah:Start by converting the ft to meters. 127ft= 42.3m 100ft= 33.3m Sqm= 42.3×33.3 = 1408.59sqm Your audience determines in what units you will discuss with them. I use imperial system (inches, feet) when discussing with artisans, omo oni iles and tradesmen but S.I (mm, cm, meters) when discussing with professionals and highly lettered people. |
1 meter is approximately 3.3 feet so your normal 60 by 120 feet plot is 18 by 36 meters. To get the area, use your elementary arithmetic by multiplying the length by the breadth, so for a 18 by 36 meters plot you have 648sqm. The above solved problem is as a result of the widely used imperial system of measurement by Nigerian artisans as against the S.I units of measurement by the learned/ professional circle. |
My people na GIRL! Weighing 3.5 ds evening. The long wait os over |
Please like this page 'FD breaking limits' on facebook. Its all about a Nigerian who is embarking on riding a bike from South Africa to Lagos. He had already done Lagos-Europe-Lagos on a bike and you can see the diary on the facebook page. Pleade share and creat much publicity as you can. |

....@ Shagati.....
|
IHate9ja1:Bros, no dull ooo. Come, come, come!!! I was like you a couple of months ago but I finally took the gauntlet around March 2014 and im currently on my 3rd bike. @ Shagati.....platinum respect sir. I duff my helmet. |
itoldu:..you rightfully summarize it all sir. Not all clubs are registered with ANMC due to the stringent but necessary registration prerequisites due to this and many more there are a lot of lone rangers who happens to also at times participate in ANMC organised events. I am a lone ranger although I know about 6 other bikes within my localty in Abeokuta, Ogun state. No thanks to ego tripping and some factors we couldnt go around to having an ANMC standard club. I am the newest entrant into the bikers world but I could see the lack of cohesion among them. Club or no club, intending bikers shouldnt be discouraged but its far more better you have a 'family/club' you can affiliate with. I will really like to be associated with a decent club but until then, we go still dey manage our scattered brotherhood. |
piphunter:I have a R6 I want to dispose of, looking at getting a Suzuki B-king. Pm me if u are interested sir. |
@ shagati...thanks for the updates iv already subscribed to the tread on the 2014 convention hopefully I'll be available for the next 1. I still get the downlow on what went down there and I will also upload d pixs I'll get frm my friend who went to the convention. The pix Im seeing here makes me feel my 07 Yamaha R6 is 'inadequate' but thats just for now. I hope the ANMC impasse has been resolved fully now, the Ndubisi Kanu faction et all. I dnt belong to any club per say but it will do much good if the umbrella body's house is in good order. |
Kimoni:...but WHY? This tread isnt about how you start your family but for expecting fathera to share their experience sir. If you have to judge me den u shld be just abt it. I may have a very faulty footing on starting my family but the fact is 'my family' is so far my greatest investment till date and my unborn child is my greater future and im taking it as that. Not every1 of us will have a 'mills & boon' or nollywood fairy tale affair but how we manage it is what really matters. My not 'complimenting' her dsnt in any way affect my relationship adversely sir, so your point of view is appreciated but thanks, no, thanks. |
bukatyne:Bros, there are several ways to compliment person & I go tell you how. I never for 1nc feel I will have a stable relationship even in the next 3 years. I was the type that feels the world owe him as many punanis as available. As at January this year I was seeing 4 babes steady but surely enuf 1 of em got pregnant. We tried D&C and we had to evacuate 3 times before everything normal. She bleed for 5 weeks & I was very afraid she may die but thankfully enuf she survived that. 1 month after her recovery guess what happened? She got pregnant again! We no fit do abortion again & na for us to carry our cross. She went to NYSC camp with a 2 month old pregnancy (I influenced her posting to the most rugged camp I was told & dats d Kwara state camp) hopping that she will lost the baby due to the rigorous exercises but she spent d 3 weeks & the belle still tanda 4 dia. Na so we come blow d alarm quick arrange introduction. I rush go secure an appartment, bought her a car, engage her in biz, got a maid, infact I do d needful except say she still dey disturb me for wedding but dat 1 go b next year after she don born ooo. My brother make I come dey play mr carring for her onto say she get belle nw go kill whatever effort she has on her own. |
Kimoni: But why?I no wan spoil her ni. You know dos people wey dem head be like garri ijebu. Once you let her know you really feel for her, she will most likely swith to 'sympathy/ pity' mode, to work go come be problem. Thats why sir. |
It never occured to me that Shagati et all bikers here will be in Ado for the convention. I havent ever attend any convention and I was hopeful I wld attend this year's but its clash with the 'ileya festival' dashed that hope. Next year own is still in view. I gat a few of my guys there sha...Doya, Big dee, soul etc @ shagati....please post pictures of the convention here or creat a tread for that. Thanks |
My wife is in her 32nd week we got just abt 3 weeks more to go. The experience has been so far so good. Luckily my wife doesnt puke or get drowsy, she only suffers from insomnia and general weakness but she still drives around and few household chores are done with minimal assistance. Very strong woman but I dont compliment her except in her absence. We do have sex as often as we can because it is essential to aid delivery. But the frequency & intensity is greatly reduced. Im really looking forward to welcoming our baby to the world. This is our first. |
tit: you will be the one playing russian roulette when you go to the market to buy foodstuff.Dear friends (tit,ahaika23) im happy to lnform you that up to this very moment, there hasnt been any confirmed ebola virus disease outbreak in my state of residence. That of Rivers state which PH happens to be the capital is all over the news. So please take a cold shower, a cup of tea or akamu (as the case may apply) and play Russian roulette with my advise. My elementary science class had already prepared me with adequate knowledge enough to make me detest from bathing with salt and water. Have a good night rest |
Some people love playing Russian roulette with their life sha. With Ebola on the prowl in PH yet those people will foolishly throng the rally only for the state to decleare Ebola republic. |
The current administration is devoted to developing rather 'rebuilding' the state to an enviable height in the committee of States this is obvious in its developmental programmes which the Sango-ojodu abiodun-berger road boasts of 3 flyovers and 2 bridges. A very ambitious government, I will implore our 'enlightened political never-do-wells' to please not drag us back to the inglorious past when a governor and the then speaker of the federal house of reps fought (come see punch wey go make Muhammed Alli shiver) over 1 bridge at sango. |
I lived in Lagos and it was my tertiary education that took me to Ogun state. I gained admission into Olabisi Onabanjo university and for 8 consecutive years the then Gov. OGD couldnt conduct just 1 convocation due to the debts just that school owes talkless of the whole state. Amosun came in and cleared all of that. The reforms and developments are there for us all to see. Now I don relocate with my family to Ogun state and trust me I can personally identify up to 12 different families who arent from Ogun but has also relocated to Ogun state within the last 2 years. SIA till 2019 |
When: April 2014 (power bike ooo, I don dey ride bicycles tay tay sha) How: Iv always fantasised on riding a power bike but I never for once moved near or touched one. It so happens that in March 2014 I went to Lagos for an event and I drove past a bike dealership, the bikes on display caught my attention. I branched in and I just know that I shelled almost 500k and became a proud owner of a Suzuki Gizzer 600cc bike. A bike that I dont even know how to start. Its 2 weeks after I bought it that I started training. Why: I love living on the edge. The same thing wey dey ginger the OP & this thread's followers. How long: My coach trained me for 3 days. I sold my bike yesterday & hopefully a Yahama R1 will be delivered to me by weekend. Iv got the biking bug. Na you make you no hesitate. Im based in Abeokuta, Ogun state @Shagati...... tnx bro for d mention. |
...here is a pal possing with the Gizzer after I change the tyre.
|
^^ I concur. Let us all as much as we can ccreate much traffic or updates on bikes and see if Mr. Seun Osewa & his supper moderators can do someting on this. I will try upload some pictures......
|
Finally, someone resurrects this thread. I finally changed the rear tyre of my Suzuki Gizzer after 5 months of fair usage. The old tire finally bow to nature after extensive usage as it leaks from over 10 punctures. To the Pros in the house, this rookie says a big 'Tuaile'! But your boy don dey do well well ooo. |
.....as the last surviving couple on earth after the rapture UnCloth to procreate, there was a knock on the door! Late entrant but should swing the vote. |
...what do you think/predict will be next big thing in a 100 years time? As for me, I feel these following things will be possible: 1. Time travel. Where people will be able to travel physically into the past (I'm a little bit reserved on travelling into the future). 2. Telepathy will most likely phase out the telephone and other means of communication. 3. Electricity transmission will go wireless. There by eliminating cables/solid conductors of electricity. Only a very few of us alive today will witness these tremendous leap in technology but who knows if this our 'guess game' will give that generation the idea on what to do. |
...dude wan show say na d Burj'arab hotel in Dubai him dey.... no wey we don know nko... |
Fela! This bit*h of a life. Soldiers of fortune (Nigeria's history from 1983 to 1993) Nairobi heat..... more to come |
