If i get you right, the validity of the TB certificate is only for the visa application period and not necessarily for the actual travel period.

Hey u can travel even if your TB test has expired.But it must not have expired during visa application.
If u decide to defer to September 2022,u can apply for Visa 6months before.That gives u March and April before the test expires.

I need your kind advices as to progress with my processing.

I was given an offer at Bradford for Jan. 2022 intake, paid the £2k deposit & TB test but the POF is yet to mature. I have been sending mails to UoB to give me an extension of time for me to get the POF in order so I can make the Jan. intake but yet to get a response. The other option for me is to wait till Sept. 2022 but the TB test expires in May.

In the interim, I'm looking at another school that runs May 2022 intake. I'm confident of getting an offer from them and I'll have ample time to put the POF in order. I can manage to pay their own £2k.

Travel & immigration regulations are constantly changing & I don't want to waste time. The aim is to leave 9ja within the first quarter of 2022.

What's the best possible way to progress?

Is there any means that I can get into the Bradford's Sept. intake before the expiration of my TB certificate in May?
I understand that admissions opens 6 months before the resumption day making it March 2022 the earliest time to apply but we must travel before the expiration of the TB cert.

How soon can a study visa holder & dependents travel to the UK?

Can Bradford make a refund? If yes, how do I go about it.

I have 5 dependants.

Bradford scholars, please how does one defer admission from January 2022 to September 2022 intake after paying the £2,000 deposit?
The TB test will be ready on 23rd Nov. (Deadline) but the POF is still being sorted out.

Is it also true that the POF must remain in the account beyond the usual 28 days till after arrival in the UK because one will be asked to confirm the balance at the point of entry.

Hello everyone, is 2007 BMW 530i a good buy? What are the pros and cons?

I have the same problem on my 2007 E60.
The thing to do is either I park, switch off the phone for 5mins and start again or I clear the fault with a scanner. The cause of the problem isn't known till now, I've replace the complete transmission due to this but the problem still persists.
I'll be glad if the solution to this problem can be shared.

Take it for a scan, or you can bring it over to my workshop for a free scan. Don't throw any parts oooo, it proper diagnostics that can solve your problem.

My rule is if you take good care of your car, it will take care of you.
I wasn't so keen on buying a BMW back then but a friend just pushed it on me, he actually forced me to buy it.
I was immediately faced with series of problems based on the car being a front end collision salvage buy from copart. While at the Lagos port, a forklift was used to moved the car which in turn cracked the car's gear sump. I replaced that but the gear issue of stalling when it wants to change from gears 3 to 4 upwards still persists until the replacement.
Once an issue comes up & I know it will tell on the vehicle's performance, I immediately fix them.
My radio/screen isn't working for 7 months now, I was given several options of a bypass or an hack to make it work but I'll rather when the time & money is available, take the car to Ladipo, Lagos and get replacement units for the console.
It's hard, needs due diligence, attention & patience but you'll surely enjoy it.

You got the transmission cheap in Ladipo.

Car drives as if it just stepped out of the factory!
Apart from the regular wear & tear aggravated by our bad roads & environment, I'm shocked at all the issues folks are raising on their cars.
I got the car from copart in 2018 & the gear issue was observed from the very first day it landed in Lagos. I however managed it for almost 2 years before it outright replacement.
Maybe I'm luck which I pray for it to continue. To jump ship based on reviews from this forum is in contrast to my personal experience. Should I say that the dinosaur (compared to my other vehicles) is one of the very good ones Providence gift me?

So earlier today, the defective crankshaft seal was replaced and the car run very fine as if it just got off the manufacturer's plant.

I however still need to get a solution to the defective media/console. The screen isn't coming up and the radio too. My best bet is to head to Ladipo and get this sorted out as every ideas/suggestion had been tried but no positive result.

Thanks so much for the insightful response.
The car's serpentine belt shredded twice within a spate of 6 weeks, the whole pulley system was checked and no error was detected. We summarily concluded that it was due to the inferior quality of the replacement belts as the one that came with the car lasted over a year and the replacement only lasted a couple of weeks.
It was after replacement at the third time that the belt slipped off the pulley while running. A careful inspection revealed oil was present on the belt and pulleys and the fault was traced to the crankshaft seal.
I have placed order for a new one (not Tokunbo) and I hope to get it later in the week.
I will update the house of further development.

have you taken care of this?
did your accessory belt shred before your crank seal started leaking? there might be an underlying issue that needs to be addressed first. if you dont take care of it and you put a new seal in, it will happen again and can potentially DESTROY your engine.
when the belt on these cars shred some part of the shredded belt gets stuck behind the crank pulley and will eventually destroy the seal if you continue driving. its a common problem on N engines N51,N52,N54....)

Had such in my E60 too. it happened to be the radio fuse that was the culprit. Check the fuse the trunk.

I Experience similar issue last year, someone advise i change the CD player, as the screen is been powered from the CD Player,

i got a tokunbo CD player at ladipo, my brother na still same problem.

las las, there is a device connecting the CD player cnt remember the name now, it located inside the boot at the driver side, dont know how manage water get to touch the device, either during washing or passing thru flooded road.

you need a BMW expert to check this device for you.

My car's media is messing up. It wouldn't come on up (both radio & the media screen)
Diagnostic scans threw up no error codes on the media as well as a series of test & examination by both car electrician & radionic.
Please anyone who has experienced such or know what the solution may be should help me out.

Please I need a good electrician that can help restore a relatively new BMW back to life. Car is 2006 5 series, bought less than a year ago. Open roof got clogged because it was parked under a tree for long, and water entered inside the car, and battery ran down. Some local electricians came and messed some of the wiring up.

Greetings guys.
My 2007 525i seems to have transmission issues.
I observed that the vehicle often finds it difficult to move from gear 3 to 4 and will often rev & drop even with me flooring the gas pedal but it will finally move after 5 or 6 attempts which isn't how an automatic gear vehicle should do.
The car would often display a transmission issues warning on the dash and will not change it's gear if I do not speed/drive the car aggressively like I'm on a race track. It will only go back to it's normal self if I parked the car, switch off the engine, open the driver's door, close it back, restart the engine and take off like a crazed dog.
Lately, the car shakes and jerks vigorously while in motion particularly when it's ascending a hill/slope.
My mechanic advised that I should get a replacement for the gear.
I seek to learn from folks in this loop who had encountered similar issues & how it was resolved as well as an idea of the price for the complete gear and windscreen of the vehicle.
