Okay |
Nice one |
cheruv:There's relationship because both were protests against colonial administration and some people were the first to summon that courage |
stinechykee:You no nothing about history |
stinechykee:Look down on your yoruba? ?? Very funny, 80% of prostitutes in abeokuta are igbos while majority of those selling pure water and gala at sango are also igbos. I think yorubas are the ones looking down on you ![]() |
cheruv:I don't care if aba riots started from the south to the sky. The question is who were the first to protest against the colonial masters? Yes abeokuta women led by fela's mother |
Alexreports and beauty pageant |
cheruv:Lol, na abeokuta women first try am na.. U tink say to protest against the British colonial masters na easy thing? Go and read history books Fela's mother was the most feared women then |

Amosun is threatened by yayi's growing popularity in the state. . Infact amosun is making YAYI more popular |
NaijaMutant:What you said is rubbish. Fela's mother led the first revolt against the British colonial masters in abeokuta in 1918. Aba women took inspiration from fela's mother and the abeokuta women.. Don't go about misleading your fellows |
forgiveness:Lol this question plenty oooo. He hasn't finished building those secondary schools they are 20 one in each local government but three are ready and the one at akinale along lagos road has commenced academic session Work hasn't started yet on the rail but the commissioner said very soon, the terminus will be at panseke in abeokuta . I don't know much about the airport project though. And the claims that amosun is concentrating more on abeokuta, that's true but he's trying in ijebu ode too but most of his projects there are not needed by the people over there like they don't like his flyovers over there. Abeokuta is the capital hence it needs more attention, roads in abeokuta are okay except for federal roads, amosun embarked on some federal roads and couldn't complete it when there was no money again, Ofcourse politicians will blame it on the rain Work is going on that 60 storey skyscraper, it's projected to be the largest in Africa if completed. .they work everyday on it, you know when the workers wanted amosun to pay their cooperatives deduction, they demanded that work be stopped on that skycrapper so they could be paid. And also work is about to commence on abeokuta mall at the new abeokuta city centre in the oke ilewo business axis. AMOSUN'S problem is a case of misplaced priorities, like the 60 billion ten lane expansion he wants to do from ibara in abeokuta down to sagamu interchange.. .he has commenced demolition, that road is a federal government road and it's not as if the road is bad... The road already itself is six lane. |
Acidosis:Yorubas don't give religion much importance. My father is an alhaji and my mum a deaconess.. Religion is secondary in the west |
kaleeto:Okay |
wristbangle:Yes a shoprite is currently being constructed in oke ilewo business zone of abeokuta, opposite iwe iroyin house.. To be honest amosun did well in road construction in abeokuta metropolis and he did some federal roads too except for ago ika -adatan federal road which he left untouched but i heard he is doing palliative on it now. Amosun biggest problem is distraction, jumping upandan creating enemies for himself, going to every state to campaign. Another problem of amosun is "how to spend " When you have roads like you mentioned not yet completed then you embarked on another one at the rate of 60 billion. .he needs to finish that Akute road. .and ogun needs rail system that can transport people and goods from abeokuta to Lagos in less than two hours. People should reside in ogun, oyo, osun, ondo, ekiti ,Lagos and work wherever they want to and only a good rail project will make this happen.. I expect all south west states to benefit from lagos economy, we need to expand lagos economy so states like ogun, oyo, osun etc can benefit. This is the kind of meeting i expect south West governors to be holding and not how to form one stupid alliance for 2019. Recently amosun bought SUV for all grade B kings at the rate of 26 million each.. .that's another misplaced priority, if you are telling the workers to exercise patience that we are in a recession why can't royal fathers also exercise much more patience. This shows amosun is distracted with 2019 and doing all his best to solidify his grip on ogun hence the reckless spending. But thankGod for the good news yesterday because if we criticize and they heed, we must talk about it.. Amosun paid six months cooperatives deduction yesterday and also arears of pensions and gratuities, he has also paid December salary. But as a good citizen of the state, I know amosun can still do better than what he's doing and he should stop comparing himself with other non performing states.. |
Cubeet:Do you think lagos is thriving on dues collected from markets ? |
wristbangle:The guy no deserve mak person follow am argue |
Cubeet:Very funny , even a warri indigene can't say the rubbish you are currently saying. I can't even argue with you on this, e no worth am. Imagine me arguing abeokuta vs warri or ibadan vs warri. |
wristbangle:Am with you on this bro, ogun has the potentials to be great but with good and sustainable policies. Amosun's first term was good but this second term is full of unnecessary distractions. When amosun introduced BMT into the transport sector, I was happy because abeokuta needed something like that but taxi drivers in abeokuta threatened amosun that the buses was disturbing their daily income, amosun gave in and within two years that transport policy failed. Now we have hundreds of those buses parked aimlessly at Agbeloba. Again his education policy was superb, the free education policy of giving out free textbooks and exercise books to both primary and secondary school students..many people withdrew their wards from private schools and enrolled them into public schools. It was good but the policy failed within three years of its commencement . Again the unified examination policy in ogun state is not working because most teachers are lazy and they don't meet up with the syllabus and also the way the state government organizes the exams is nothing to write home about. This unified exam is why most ogun public school students are not performing in very well in wassce and neco exams unlike their private counterparts When i was in secondary school, my school afrograms and others like Abeograms, BBHS, AGGS, IGANMODE grammar school ,Mayflower ikenne, ijebu ode grammar school, ayetoro comprehensive school ,adeola odutola, our lady of apostles etc were competing for honors.. Any of these schools will likely produce best student in wassce exams all over west Africa . Amosun really need to buckle up and do more and not expect people to praise him for what he is doing just because he feels he is doing better than other state governors. Ogun state indigenes know amosun can still do better than this. Azin ogun state has the highest limestone deposit in Nigeria and after crude oil, Nigeria's next forex earner is limestone. 2019 ogun state needs someone with vision to continue from wherever amosun stopped.. Probably yayi or any other person with a broad mentality.. .i still prefer YAYI though because i want something similar that am seeing in Lagos and i know my state ogun has the potentials to be greater than what it's currently now |
Deathslater:She was taken from a village in the eastern part of the country, do we have Fulani villages in the eastern part of the country? |
Deathslater:"Another resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the girl’s father was late while her mother was ill, adding that Alapa had brought her to Lagos from a village in the eastern part of Nigeria." Are you now satisfied? |
9jasite:You should be ashamed of yourself for always peddling falsehood. .you are a divisive and mischievous writer. You came here alluding that ibori's ordeal was caused by the north not knowing it was Jonathan's government (a fellow Niger delta) that re opened ibori case file and tried to arrest ibori before he eventually fled the country to Dubai where he was extradited by the UK government. Now you are saying ibori was innocent, if indeed ibori was innocent why did he plead guilty to the charges against him? |
ALMUSTAQIM:See, am from ogun state and i know ogun state is slow in actualizing that kind of vision. Ogun state has the potentials no doubt but ogun needs strong policies to be able to reach that height And please what do you mean by ogun being the largest in south west, I thought oyo was the largest |
Eyah . Why should someone bring a 10 year old from the eastern part of Nigeria and use as house maid. why do people leave their state and go to other regions just to bring house maids. We really need to put a stop to all these nonsense |
PentiiumProf:Lol, you had to clone Pentiumprof moniker |
Lagos is way ahead of all other states in Nigeria and lagos won't stop growing as long as it remains fully in the hands of progressives I really don't see any state beating lagos in the nearest future unless lagos itself derails, most states in Nigeria are not focused ,some are spending huge amount of money on media propaganda. The executive arm of lagos is full of technocrats, dishing out good polices |
9jasite:I don't really give a damn about any Nigerian politician, I don't just understand why a Nigerian youth will be writing articles just to praise a Man that was convicted in the UK for money laundering |
