That's why you shouldn't stand in Judgement over those who know more than you, first you believe a book we gave you as the totality of your faith, when the book even tells you there are other teachings outside it. Secondly you deny the authority of those who compiled the book and actually gave it the authority it possesses, while ascribing all authority to the book, when the book itself tells you the authority belongs to those whose property it is. In as much as it isn't a problem for me to reel out biblical passages there, but you're too ignorant yet to understand, you need to be humble and learn a bit more as a christian, that you may understand, else you'll wrest it unto your own destruction as peter warned 2Pet.3:16.

Hello Nairalanders. Pls I want to share my love story with you. I'm a christian and there is this my high school friend that we grew fond of each while in high school, we had been "just friends".

While in SS3, I was a prefect and she was my assistant. This gave us more time together, back then we never thought of romance, we were just the "serious type" always discussing our studies and helping each other. We were best of friends.

It was during the last days at High School that we realised how attached we had grown to each other, I remember we talked about how we will miss each other in a 'friendly' manner while taking a walk round the school.

In those days, I realised I had more feelings than friendship towards her but I do tell my self that it was just infatuation that once we leave each other, the feeelings will die off and I will perhaps meet someone else.

Four years down the line, we still can't let go of each other, we usually only talked on phone and social media not until some months ago that I decided to pay her a visit in her home.

The visit was so nostalgic, we were delighted to see each other but we both kept on hiding our feelings. I think we are both pretending not to feel anything beyond friendship. This is because of differences in our religion.

I met with her dad, an Alhaji, that day, and we also discussed Nigeria and the waxing hardship, I sense he was quite liberal. Maybe that's because I and his daughter were "just friends".

Now, our calls usually starts well but ends cold, when it's time to say goodbye, we are both pretending towards each other. I know, and I think she knows also.

If we had been of the same religion, I would have made my feelings known to her but I just can't summon the courage to do so now. Our differences in religion didnot stop me from loving her but stopping me from having her.

I would like your suggestions. Have you ever been in such situation before? How did you do it?

Pls I want mature suggestions.

1. Ignorance isn't something you boast with,I am not here to teach you how to read English. Find out the use of coma in a sentence and read again that passage. You can actually remove "which is the church of the living God" and still have a complete sentence.... The pillar and foundation of truth is the Church, arguing over this doesn't do you good. 2. Jesus Established the church himself and the gates of hell will never overcome it Matt.16:18, to the church he promised the Holy spirit which will lead her members "into all truth" Jn.16:12-13. Since you agree and wrote above that Jesus is the truth, Note now therefore that Jesus told the Church "He who listens to you listens to me, and he who rejects you rejects me" Luke 10:16 I could go on and on.

3. First, what do you understand by canonization of saints. Secondly, show me a single passage that says everything the church does must be found written in the bible (that the church compiled and canonized).

4. I do not doubt you at all. However words in English-and indeed many other languages- do often have more than one application. I am sure the word "Saint" does too. You can thank me for teaching you this.

5. In as much as this is a false accusation based on limited knowledge, you should go back and read the bible we gave you; for it is written thus Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 2Thess.2:15

I have no problem with your definition of the church, but you must add this "who preach one gospel, profess one baptism, under one shepherd Eph.4:5, and traced to the apostles Matt.16:18.

A book comprising of writings the Church gathered together after 300 years, and told you it contains inspired word of God, is now your foundation of truth, yet the book itself tells you that the Church instead is the pillar and foundation of truth 1 Tim 3:15. Nigerian televangelist appeared in a South African court on Wednesday facing 22 charges of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Tim Omotoso, 58, was arrested on April 21 when he landed in Port Elizabeth, initially facing two charges of sexual assault and two of trafficking.

On Wednesday, 18 more people had laid charges. Omotoso will return to court on Thursday to apply for bail. ​Omotoso ​of the Jesus Dominion International Church in Durban, ​is accused of sexually abusing young girls at his luxury home.

What are the benefits?
1. You will have peace (Rom 8:35-39, Jn 14:27)
