If all these results are true, because am already seeing conflicting results. Pdp still need to do alot of work. Is only results from 8 local government councils that's coming out so far. What happen to the remaining 10 local government councils? We are only seeing results from :

what's happening in the Edo north and the other 4 local government councils in Edo south? People should dig in we need to see results

If you follow my post you will see I said the battle field is in Edo south, because Edo central and north have been fought and won by both parties. All they are fighting in those two zones is just to minimise the marginal difference.

Oredo, ikpoba okha and Egor are the 3 core local government councils within Benin. The other 4 are inside APC coffer. If you check my other posts you will see I mentioned same

There's a very big difference between presidential and state elections. In the last election pdp won the presidential election in edo state, immediately 2 weeks after the presidential election the state house of Assembly elections were conducted and APC won the whole 24 seats. Philip, Oshiomole and audu happen to be from the same local government council, can Philip win the local government? Philip is the only notable person in pdp that's from Edo north, which other notable person or persons do you know working for pdp from Edo north? Let's put sentiment outside and be real to ourselves

Sometimes I wonder where most people are getting their facts expecially when it related to Edo state. How can Obaseki win? Edo state have 3 senatorial district of which pdp is very visible in Edo central which have about 16% of the electorates, APC own the Edo north which have about 26% of the electorates and Edo south which have about 58% of the electorates. Edo south is the battle field for the election. Outside the 3 core local government councils within Benin I strongly doubt if Obaseki can win any other local government council. because the APC structures in those local government councils are very intact. APC don't need any form of rigging to win, they already have an edge over pdp

Both camps have a large similar amount of supporters, with Obaseki holding a very slight edge due to the Benin metropolis. However, this edge isn't enough to withstand the rigging forces of the APC in place today. Of course, the PDP will equally rig, but with what happened to Wike yesterday, it's obvious they're being curtailed.

Personally, none out of the two are Edo's best choice, but as Nigerians will have it, they usually limit themselves to these two failed parties.

Kudos to Obaseki for fighting such a battle sha, against the odds.Congrats, if he suprisingly wins.

OP sorry to comment on your post. Which of the Benin are you talking about? Benin city of Republic of Benin? How can Obaseki have slight edge in Benin? How? Obaseki can't win more than 2 local government councils in Edo south, how can that be a slight advantage? Ok now I realize you said Benin not Edo south, sorry for the little mistake there

The OP might not be from Edo state but somehow his right to a very large degree with his analysis. PDP need at least 60% or more in Edo south for then to stand a chance at all. I strongly doubt if PDP will win any local government council in Edo NORTH and am seeing APC winning two local government councils in Edo central (Esan central and Esan west) and give a good showing in Esan south and Igueben local government councils respectively. PDP need to do more work in Edo south because it seems they have a little edge there. Even if pdp is to win Edo central the margin will be too low to flip the result to their favour. Please leave the hunter alone but as for the bird, I don't have a say.

]We all see from different angle. I believe that is the best place for her to do that, because the church doesn't need the money, is people like this that need the money. If really the money is for God as we normally preach in the church and God is our Father and creator, the lady stole from her father and is not the function of the Rev. Again the church is met for people like these, churches are not met for the Saint because if you are a Saint there's no reason going to church. Church is a place of reformation and transformation to live a Godly life, is not a place for the Saint but a place for thieves, criminals, armed robbers, fornicators etc. These are the kind people the church is met for, for their redemption. All what the Father suppose to have done is to investigate the reason behind the woman stealing and look for a way to help her out of it without even trying to shamed her in any form. What will this father preach to this woman tomorrow? That if anybody err the person must be beating up or disgrace? Is that what Christ Jesus teaches us as a Christian? We all (the priest inclusive) have sinned and yet God forgive us. The father should go and beg the lady for forgiveness:
1. For overreaction
2. For the disgrace and
3. For the beating
After all these he should look for a way on how to help her because these are the type of people God called him for. If people like this doesn't exist there is no need for the church and there's no need for the priest either. Most people seem churches as a place for holy people which is very wrong.

If everything about the election is to rig please can you tell me anywhere in Edo state where APC is not popular and can't rig? If you want to see campaign, go back and check those videos were Oshiomole campaign for Obaseki, you will see intensity, energy and issue base campaign but that is very different to do if you are the sitting governor and campaigning for yourself, what most people want to see is your performance base campaign. After Oshiomole first tenure, when he was contesting for second tenure, he showed Edo state people his performance score card and it was so appealing and that's what makes him to won the 18 local government councils, though pdp was the government at the centre which is the first in the history of the state. The Edo state people stood their ground and resist any form of rigging and intimidation. Who do you think is willing to stake anything for Obaseki sake? When he could not even measure up to his predecessor? Each time they are granting any press conference what you will be hearing is Oshiomole have campaign for Obaseki 4 years ago and when you asked those shouting Obaseki on social media what has he done to merit re-electing, they will tell you TORGBA, 4+4=8, we don't want godfather in Edo state, how those words sound to your ears? Ask anybody supporting him if they know any strong APC man within Edo state that have moved with him to pdp, I doubt if they have any. His campaign policy is very toxic, the billboard he installed in Benin and be showing Oshiomole ill words against Ize Iyamu during election campaigns and Ganduje videos is what he's showing, no performance base campaign. Most times I see him playing the oppositon politics, instead of incumbency performance base politics and how to build on the already existing performance he have achieved. Over 95% of the electorate will not even see the video, they can only vote base on who they know and who is able to sell his political ideology to them.

Or you have forgotten is this is the same Ize Iyamu that contested against Obaseki over 3 years ago. If not Oshiomole that was at Obaseki's back and the power that been that was working for him who is Obaseki to pin against Ize Iyamu? Somebody that was rejected in Edo state scored 48% of total vote cast with an opposition party against a very popular incumbent backed candidate with almighty federal power.
