Woods:
2×4 = 900pcs @#450 per piece
2×3 = 150pcs @ #350 per piece
2×2 = 1000pcs @#250 per piece
2×6 = 60pcs @#700 per piece
4" Nails = 5 bags @7000 per bag
3" Nails = 3 bags @#7000 per bag
Workmanship = #300,000

I'm planning to use stone coated ties roof. The building is a 4 bedroom bungalow and a security house. The kingpost is about 6m.

Still awaiting his materials estimate

I am at Parapet stage in my project. The Architect handling the site is suggesting I use Precast parapet because of cost. I want to know if there is any down side of using a precast parapet against the normal casting of parapet. I need more insight to make decision. Cost is not too much of an issue to me. Thanks

Do German Floor but not as Duplex type in terms of thickness. In this case your German floor is basically to create a platform for your tiling not transferring load to the foundation. It's more like doing Screeding with cement and sand on the floor before tiling.

Not necessarily up to 6inched thickness. You can do between 3 to 4 inches... Since you said the land is dry.

Thank you bro. The builder is actually a family friend and he was trying to cut cost in whatever area possible.
I might just do it then. So with the german flooring, I will have to go straight to tiling after building?

Good a thing you air it here, the builder may want to save cost for you depending on the building contract or agreement or may be, because you complained to him that you don't have enough money for the project so he is trying to help you save money.

But I must say that OSC ( over site concrete ) otherwise known as garman floor is very important in any structure even if you are building on the hill.

1. It helps to ensure the building is level.

2. The over site concrete stops crack from affecting the superstructure from the foundation or vise versa.

3. It helps transfer loads (many types of load) to the foundation.

4. It aids dpc ( you cannot do effective dpc with out German floor)

There are many but wish to stop here.

I am about to start a 4 bedroom bungalow in Edo state. My architect included German floor in the building stages he gave me along with the plan. But the builder handling the building is saying I don't need to do german flooring because the soil is solid and dry.

Experts here, please what is your take on this? Would you guys advice I do german floor? What's really the importance of german floor ? Many questions in my head.

Please guide me into making the right decision

Just a quick question; Has anyone received Medical request or TRV after receiving Biometric Verification Letter?

I applied for someone in March 2019 and he was sent biometric verification letter sometime in Mid May 2019 and uptill this moment we have not heard anything again from IRCC again and his application is still active.

We are bit worried because we heard biometric verification letter is a point to refusal.

I have an intention of building a 5 bedroom flat all en-suite. The size of land I got is 50 ft by 100 ft....will this size of land be able to accommodate those number of bedrooms with enough space for packing?

What is the estimated cost difference in building if one chooses to build duplex ... though I actually prefer bungalow. If the difference in cost of building is not much, I can go for duplex.

From trend, do people still get refused after medical request and updated medical passed? Someone I know got his medical passed update for over a month now but no passport request or any other update since then.
Wish all trv hopeful success!!

Has anyone bn delayed because of this reason "you have not complied with our request for biometrics".
NB:This person did his biometrics in Lagos same day he received the letter of biometrics.
Any advice on what we can do??

London Visa Office seems to be waking up now even for PNP applicants.

When background check moves from "In progress" to "we are conducting your background check" , what stage is that? Is it IP1 or IP2?
NB: Medicals changed to passed also.

I am planning to change her her intl passport and also update cic on dt. I think is easier now than when she is already in Canada

They will only deal with the name that is on the passport. And to be honest, it is not necessary to go try to get a new passport for her now, bearing in mind how difficult it can be to get a new passport sometimes...except that has stopped. It won't affect anything. If you however insist it is needed or necessary, please go ahead.

Why exactly do you want this change of name? Did you submit a passport with a different name or you intend to change the name on her international passport?

My advise, this should be done post ITA because it's takes roughly 3 hours and you will get a slip to upload with application same day. However, latest landing date post PPR will be one year from date of medicals, so if for any reason your application is not very fast, you may find yourself under some pressure to relocate.

Is it mandatory we submit transcript along other acaedemic documents during pr application?

My brother got NOI from Ontario. He has Crs 375 and work experience in Electrical Engineering. We are skeptical of applying for him because one of the requirements in thier website apart from NOI is minimum crs of 400 or a work experience in information and communication system.
Who is the same shoes with us......do you guys advice we apply for him? $1500 is too big to be wasted!
