Congratulations to him....u re a genius at this .....pls do still stay around thesoj: Hello peeps!!! My brother got the passport request notice today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is a very complex applicant with no funds of his own (absolute zero), no employment letter (he was self-employed but he made very little from it and didn't register the company), and zero travel history outside West Africa. But we worked hard to get the VO to see that he wasn't lazying about since he finished BSc about five years ago. We put together a really good application (with lots of proof) in spite of the complexity of his application, and apparently the VO was impressed. But let's wait until we see the visa sha.... I previously discussed his application here and here and here. |

Omonjoe: I am looking towards going through the PR route since I am somehow qualified instead of studies route. Please I need someone to help me answer these;
1. Based on previous assessments here, does Engineers Australia always give positive assessment to B.Eng - Elect/Elect from Nigeria universities?
2. Is one require by DIBP to submit a statement of account when applying for PR? |

Thanks man. I have checked. Pls what is d approximate time the whole process will take from assessment to visa approval. What are the chances of visa approval compare to student visa? bellong: @Omonjoe,
PR is the best bet for you. Your BSc is enough. Go to Engineer Australia's website for requirements needed for your skills assessment.
Is your occupation not on the SOL list?
Meanwhile, there's nothing you need to do till your assessment is out.
@Onaolorundun,

I am confused on which route to use for my Australia ambition. I really have interest to further my education and I also wish to leave this country which ever possible easiest legal means to Australia. Here is my profile;
1. Have B.Eng in Elect / Elect Engr 2:1 in year 2010
2. Have M.Eng in Elect / Elect Engr in year 2014
3. Have been working since September 2011 in a Federal govt Engineering Reasearch Institute.
4. I am in my late 29years of age
5. I am single
6. Currently preparing for my IELTS.
Please I need ur sincere advice on the route (STUDY or PR) to take considering the time involved in visa processing and rate of visa approval. |

My co - sponsor recently fixed deposit the money in her account (#5million) dia by making her available account balance very low. She has printed out her SOA to show gud inflow nd fixed deposit debit from her account. She also got a reference letter from the bank stating her fixed deposit with them. Can I submit the SOA (with very low balance) and the reference letter from the bank? Can dt fly in the eyes of the vo? |
