Bolt app really socks. This happens lots of times. Of recent, i usually have to restart my bolt apps while on a trip; app wil just close and disappears. Sometimes it will show error and stayed like that untill the app restarted.

Even besides the stated below;
At times, police and Lastman do disregard traffic light and pass vehicles when the light is on red..... this happened many times ......even today sef

deedee44:

It must have been one of those inevitable situations where light will turn green but other cars on red are still passing and by the time you maneuver your way light is already red. But how person go take explain that one give them grin

Thanks a bunch. Plantain farming it is! how do i contact you so we dont derail?
OJURONGBE1:

You don find me go Agric section grin
Actually, I am fortunate to have a father who has been practising subsistence farming for half of his life, so farmland wasn't a problem. He oversee the cultivation, harvest & send the proceeds to me while i visit once every two weeks to inspect my investment.
Lagos to ijebu is less than 50mins, if you leave very early in the morning or late at night(Don't take this advise unless you have 9lives wink).

I don't know what you intend to farm but Plantain farming is less stressful to other crops, as long as the soil is fertile, plant healthy suckers & feed them water in dry season (December- February). It is money spinning if you harvest them between March -August. (If you plant in March within 9-11months, they should be ripe for harvest).
Plantain is usually scarce around that time in the market hence the price skyrocket.
Also note, that it is not always rosy. A wind catastrophe can send a plantain Farmer to an hospital bed in 1hour. That's the huge risk associated with growing plantain.
I grow chilly pepper too. These two crops if planted & harvested in right season can enhance your pocket but dem get their own headache too wink

Mr Ojurongbe1, how are you able to practice Agric and still driving at thesame time?
I wish to go into farming myself but will need to be tutored first

Good day to you all.
I discovered an alternative route yesterday at tge discretion of my rider.
From Ikeja to Alapere; Ketu was jammed as usual, so we followed Ogudu.
It was hellish crossing to the other side via Ogudu bridge, the express was also at a standstill.
So instead of turning left back to the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, we went straight down Agboyi road, climbed another bridge and i found myself at the heart of Alapere in a jiffy.
So next time you find yourself in same chaotic traffic, make use of this route.

Well i have been blocked for low rating once. Its ok if you don't want to share it though Thanks
kanuisagoat:

I'll tell you the same thing Izzou told me, you'll figure it out yourself. It's pretty straightforward cheesy

The only reason you haven't is because you still have good ratings. When your ratings drop and you're on the verge of being blocked , you'll figure it out.

Some ladies are just not nice at all.
Presently on a trip to Osapa London from V/I. After phase-1 she said she's having a stop over at Blenco to get some stuffs.
On getting there i politely told her i don't like to wait more than 5min.
She responded; it will be more than that o.
That she has to search for the items and have to pay as well and afterall shebi her trip is reading!!!
I calmy explained to her that 10/min isn't good for me cos i would have covered several miles in same time.
Her response shocked me but i just mumu for her......She said is 100 naira not ok for 10mins; this is just January and i want ti make the whole money for the year...Me just smile and kept my cool. She spent about 25mins though!!!

Thanks, exactly my point.
IFSHR:

I think you misunderstood him.

For partners getting 35k weekly now....it maybe a hard delivery during winter..

As well with the look of things, a total lockdown might be looming

izzou:

I understand it's your opinion, but I really think we should put ourselves in the partner's shoes.

Uber cars do not run on fresh air and sunlight. They use mechanical parts that wear and tear, and the prices of these parts increase almost every day.

What you bought for #xx in November has definitely increased in December, and will definitely increase in January. I don't see how someone would reduce his rental price because trips are limited? Will the driver use the car less in January? Obviously no

Any driver who definitely be saving ahead for January. You can start saving your two weeks rent now (60k) instead of waiting for rental reduction.

All, I mean all the prices of parts have increased.

No vex say I quote you sha
Yes you can anytime.
Peace

I meant e-hailing winter season; when trips wil be limited. That's my personal opinion and am neither on rental nor HP
izzou:

Do you mean a wise car owner will slash the rental fee in January?

I don't think that's wise sha

No suprise at all.... a baby on the job!!!
This is harvest season for drivers but be prepared for the forthcoming reverse season..... It is usually not sweet at all.
Pls kindly make sure you post your dashboard as well.
NOTE: A rentee will easily pay 35k weekly this period but will be hard/impossible come 1st quarter of incoming year.
A wise owner(renter) will slash the weekly fee accordingly therein. But imagine what happens if you are driving for Mr. J the self acclaimed selfish/shrewd fleet Manager..........you will be digging your own grave.
May God provide for all our needs abundantly. PEACE
CheerfulGiver:
No I'm not removing it because it breaks no forum rules. Neither are you a law and order official/specifically directed to police this thread.

Hundreds of drivers decide to do what they want to do, same as I. There's an ongoing competition which is pure fun to me. 800k Nov and Dec. Not everyone is up for it and that's fine. All fingers aren't equal. The word impossible doesn't exist. People dey. If you feel bad that I posted dashboard, there's very little I can do about it because I don't control how you feel. Everyone needs extra money. If you're too big to post earnings because you think it's foolishness, again I can't control how you feel. Do you and let the next person be.

I am not asking, I have concluded there is a strong link between Bolt drivers and aggression. I have concluded that they can’t be dealing with that much oloshos and be normal anymore.

His posts confirmed it...

I have avoided them. Uber for life.

Regards
Funny enough; same drivers you are avoiding on Bolt still drive you on Uber.
This phenomenon did not emanate from neither the driver nor rider but the app compan; Bolt.

Omo, this hustle no easy I swear. Wetin person eyes dey see for these our girls hand ehn. That was how I got a request o, rider said she was buying clothes at a boutique nearby so I drove down. On getting there, I parked by the road side just infront of the boutique.

This girl said I should drive to the front of the boutique with the back of my vehicle so she can just come into the vehicle. I no believe my ears. Distance we no even reach 20 seconds walking distance. I wanted to even consider it after all, na her money I wan collect but decided to come down to check. Na God save me, if to say I try am, I will be visiting the panel beater the following day to fix exhaust leak.

Na so I jejely enter motor o, cancel trip begin go my way.

Honestly, these girls can make a dumb man speak in tongue.
I picked one yesterday on a 1.9X trip.
We moved and after few minutes she said she forgot to tell me there's going to be a stop over; that she wants to pick a friend along the way.
I was intensely infuriated but i calmed myself down since she has promised no waiting at all. But the destination was modified on my instruction.
On getting there, she asked me first to check the current fare which i couldn't without ending the trip; 1st red flag!!!
After about 10mins i informed her on phone that am ending the trip in another 5mins. Immediately her friend came out and sat in the car, then i got the message clearly; she was changing her dress and making up for a party!!! CAN YOU FU-FU-FUCKING BELIEVE THAT!!!!!!!
Oh My God i lost control of my composure immediately and ended the trip there. I was shouting at her friend when she appeared and they are now making another request.
I made it clear i wont go further untill she pays the initial trip alas! she complied. I accepted to go for the 2nd trip 'cause the place na Sambiza and also with surge.
Worst still, they were still complaining that bolt fare was getting higher day by day and they wish another app could come to their rescue: me for my mind dey sure say bolt fare no be am at all.... i just fem. Collected my money, reported rider to bolt after 1 star rating.
