Zelios is good if you are a fan of Indian inverter like me.It's built is rugged and has very low self consumption.Please ensure you buy from Luminous office or their authorized distributor.The icell is still availlable.Zelios and Ecovolt are basically the same but Ecovolt is analog display while Zelios is digital. Zelios has bypass switch while Ecovolt does not[i]

To my other ogas, I have decided to buy Luminous inverter finally after I was told by people that it is better than microtek. please which one is good out of Zelios and Eco volt?

Untrue, both are unforgiving, gel is worse, try charging with wrong/higher voltage.. and its rendered useless within 2wks.the reaction is irreversible.

Agm can survive for longer periods of wrong charging, and damage ain't irreversible if you catch it on time and are tech savvy

Not sure it is that straight forward. AGM is less forgiving with wrong charging configuration mistakes unlike GEL.

Simply put, the BMS manages the battery based on set limits, you need to modify your charging profile to avoid hitting the BMS set parameters abruptly

For those using LiFePO4 batteries,I have been doing my research on the battery as I am seriously considering migrating to it.If the bank has an inbuilt BMS,is there still any need to preset charging voltage on a charge controller if charging via solar? For the customised banks with BMS ,is it just plug and play or there are still monitoring to be done by the user

If by error i laid my hand on a 1000amp batteries I wont use it as a regular power supply for my inverter.It will be plugged in for weeks to full charge without any form of depletion.

I will make use of another set up for normal use.

The 1000amp will only serve as massive backup.

If you get a multimeter and test the 2 batteries separately, you will observe that their readings are different. Mine started when after full charge, one of the batteries drop to 10V within 2-3 hrs while the other still hovers around 12.4V.

Kindly claim warranty on time before it's too late.

The blue Luminous batteries mostly fail after 8 months. It's better you return now that you're under warranty.

Since you still have like 5 months, you can observe for some months before making warranty claim.

If your Luminous batteries are the blue type I posted some pages back, better take them back and claim your warranty asap.

Also, check your charge controller. Hope it's not PWM. MPPT is the best for batteries.

Hello gurus in the house, I have a puzzling issue. I got a used 2.5kva/36volts genus inverter from someone relocating out of town who insists it is working perfectly.However,when connected to 3 ,12volts 105 ritar batteries in series it doesn't work,just making intermittent beeping sound.I read somewhere that recommended battery is 120ah-200ah.Could this be the problem or the inverter is faulty?

You can get this Akt 24w led light and use only 3 bulbs but the consumption is about 24w each and it's extremely bright like a halogen.

While the idea of 50% is nice, you see 30% is nicer.

Good agm/ tubular batteries come with 80%dod

Over the years using 70%dod as not been an issue with good batteries.
I think it depends majorly on the battery durability.

What BRAND and WATTAGE of LED bulbs is recommended for external fence light to use with inverter & solar system?

The perimeter fence has 10 points spaced about 15ft max apart in some cases.
So, I'm looking for low power consumption but still luminous enough for visibility.
