please I need advice from all parents and Educators and parents on Nairanland. today I just realized my 3years old son cant even read Letters A to F talk less of A to Z but can read Figure 1 to 10, I am seriously worried.

I don't stay at home except for weekends as I am working outside my state, but due to the curfew I find my way back home yesterday so I was able to discover this problem in the early hours of today.

I know the mother is trying cos I have seen different live videos where she was teaching him and working on his assignment, most times I pity the boy so much because of the beating from his mum alone makes me sick but I can't really complain since I know is for his own good and I know how stressful it is for a mother with 2 kids to manage her time and all that....

I called his teacher immediately and she told me my son will be going to Nursery class when the present term is over due to his age, sadly she didn't say things I expect to hear from her so I told her I will visit the school once the curfew is over, I need explanation, is private school that bad these days ? my son can't even write 2 and 3

I have bought Video CD, bought many play book materials containing letters and figures displayed boldly, I bought counting and so on when he was 2 years so i expect a better result by now.

pls sir and ma, I need help on how to guide this boy to learn better, what should I do and how should I go about it.

Note: any time I am home, I always go through his books, assignments and read his school rhymes for him.

You mean your wife is beating a 3 year old for not been able to write? You people should fear God ooo.Can you write the alphabets at his age?His motor skills are just beginning to develop now.Jusybkeep playing videos of alphabets for him.They are all over on youtube.With time he will be tbenone disturbing you with the scribbling s trying to write the alphabets.And from my experience,the male child are slower at picking up at that age than the female.

You also need to watch these videos and learn appropriate techniques at writing each if the alphabet. Don't beat the poor boy oo.

Moreover from Toddler to Garade 1 that's all they will learn.Alphabets and numbering so relax!!!

I think I disagree, 1500 watt 24volt should be okay, the surge will even be higher than that, and the items the person listed does not even contain surge demanding gadgets, except the price difference is negligible

Luminous 1.5kva is actually rated max 1300 watts. I agree it should be okay but when you factor in efficiency losses its better to give allowance for future load. Surge doesn't really cone into play here.Surge power is for a short time only and not for continues capacity

I just came across this topic. I need advise on which of these inverters are best for home use. It's to power not only the indoor lights but outdoor ones as well, 2 laptops, 2 fans, 2 TVs. At least one of each appliances plugged at once with 2 bulbs on.

Considering the outlined items to be powered, you need a minimum of 2.5kva inverter( since you are powering your outside lights).

Luminous Zelios 1.5kva and Ecovolt 1.5kva are basically the same functionality and wattage (1300watts).The ZELIOS brand has a digital display that shows time available for back up.It also has a bypass switch at the back.The Ecovolts is analog display and also lacks the highlighted features of the Zelios.

Prag is a high end inverter. I am not too familiar with their functionality.

We call it HYBRID battery !
The battery is cap sealed but can also work as tubular after 2yrs. It has a cap where you can open it and top it with distilled water after 2yrs !!

Yes, for a German product but I have concern with the maximum charge current of 20A.I know recommended charge current is 10% of AH rating of battery but I know most specs can take up to 40A charge current.

You need minimum of 6.5kva to power a 5.0kva inverter efficiently.

Normally with the number of panels connected to the MPPT you should see more hervest than the ones connected to pwm so unless the orientations are not the same I don't see why a 1kw+ should hervest same with a 700w+

They ain't located on same side.One is west while one is east but roof structure is virtually flat

Ok, likely state of charge issue then or diff panel orientation.
Put 300w load on both setups and watch to rule out this variable.

Mppt trumps pwm above 600w array, thats part of the reason an mppt costs 4x as pwm. The manufacturers are not madt

Maybe orientation.One set is on the west while one is on the east.Although my roof is almost flat so I really do not see that affecting it.

You connected the panels wrongly to the powmr cc, i see 27.6v i assume this is incoming panel voltage.
To enjpy mppt connect the panels in series .4s1p or 2s2p.
Secondly state of charge of the batteries plays a huge role in what the cc can send to them.
To be doubly sure, hook up a 300w load to both setups and observe

Batteries are in 2s2p.The voltage you see as 27.6v is the battery voltage not panel voltage

Please expert in the house,is there really any difference in the efficiency of PWM CC compared to MPPT?I have attached 2 pictures of the current generated by both at about 10:30 am today.There isn't really any significant difference.The MPPT is connected to 260w x4 units of Felicity panels and is charging 2units of 200ah batteries in series while the PWM is connected to 160w x 4 units of Felicity panels charging 3 units of 105ah batteries in parallel.I really do not see much difference except there is something I am not analysing right.

You can use a timer switch, sample attached. The other option is to use a Sonoff basic

Please is there any device I can use to automatically switch on/off my freezer.I have a separate inverter dedicated for fridge and freezer but most times because I am not at home during the day I am unable to take advantage of the sunshine at peak ours especially on days when IKEDC switches my area off.I intend to let the freezer run on such days between 12pm and 4pm .I was home today and connected manually between those ours and because sunshine was up battery was still at full capacity at 5pm when I switched off.If I had not been at home ,it would have been wasted energy as battery would have remained fully charged for nothing.

24 x 130k is 3.1m for a 48v 2000ah bank.
Incountry price of 48v 600ah lifepo4 bank is Abt 3m.
40 x 12v 200ah quanta = 48v 2000ah is abt 6m
I would take a 48v 2000ah lead acid bank over 48v 600ah lithuims.

Wish the batts came in 6v 2000ah, would be a lot easier and affordable for a 48v bank owner.
I wonder the price of 2v 1000ah

at this stage of your upgrade u shouldn't be using a pwm cc
i advise u trade off your 12V 1000w inverter
get a 24V inverter with at least 30A utility charger
buy a 60A mppt cc
buy premium 2pcs 200ah or 220ah battery
then u are good to go

Thank you for your response.Actually this set up is my back up system which is why I haven't bothered using MPPT CC.My main system is a 1.5kva 24v Luminous Zelios Inverter connected to 2 200ah Luminous SMF battery and 260w x 4 units of Felicity solar panel through a 60 amp PowMr MPPT charge controller. This powers my TV and lights mainly light .The 1000watts system ( actually actually a1.5kva 12v Icell X4 series inverter)powers my fridge,freezer and security light points when necessary, although I use it mainly with the freezer only occasionally except during long NEPA outage or when I just need to power some points it is connected to.

I need the input of the experts on an upgrade I am about embarking on .

I have a 1000watts,12 volts inverter on 3 units of 105ah batteries connected to 640watts( 160 watts* 4 ) felicity panels via a 60amp PWM Controller.

I intend adding more panels panels ( additional 640_watts) but the max PV power input of the CC is 720watts( of course replacing battery bank with 3 units of 180ah battery)

I am considering the following options

A. Run separate wire for a new 60 AMPS CC connected to the new panels

B.Buy a 100amps PWM Controller( found about 2 already on Ali express) with max PV WATTS capacity of 1300 watts and just change the charge controller.
This saves the cost of running separate wires

I just need the input of the gurus!!

And they are connected in parallels.

(I have just taken these photos when the cloud was dark and about to rain)
Usually the battery icon never goes beyond 4bars after usage

Connect all 3 in series.

When you eventually get the additional one panel,revert to 2s2p.

I really don't understand why you guys complain? You buy a 'tokunbo' TV and you complain.What do you expect? To perform like the equivalent brand new? Even the guy might not be aware of hidden issues as they might not come out within the period of testing.

Tokunbo market is a risk and as they will always say, na luck!

And for those complaining, always perform background check !!
