My 2003 Nissan Pathfinder's odometer and speedometer is not working.Every other thing on the instrument cluster works.I also notice the abs light comes on but check engine light is off.What could be responsible for this.My research across the Internet suggest vehicle speed sensor but others say the instrument cluster.Experts in the house please advise

I have noticed the recent increase in the number of used Nisan Pathfinder/Xterra 05-07 available for sale in the auto section.

What could be responsible for this?. Could it be due to the known transmission failure as a result of coolant mixing with transmission fluid that is prone to happen on these models?Just thinking though!

There is no need trading insults.Emission test is no big deal.You can buy a car that passes emission test and after driving here it here your emmision light comes on.Had a similar experience with my Mazda tribute caused by bad fuel.

I think you should start considering receiving payments in naira.The recent policies of CBN has made transacting in dollars(cash deposit prohibition) difficult.It is very difficult transferring money offshore now except source of funds to be transfered is received via inflow

The vehicle I noticed shorts oil reently and the engine is not smoking,even water comes out from the silencer and I a funny sound when the throttle is accelerated . Pls advice before this mechanic people damage the vehicle for me

Let your mechanic go under your car and check your oil pan(engine sump) to see if there are leaks from anywhere there.Had a similar problem with my 2003 Mazda Tribute sometime ago.It happened that the oil was leaking from the oil pan all around, albeit small but when it gets hot it becomes much since the oil becomes lighter.My mechanic removed the oil pan, washed it and resealed it and problem was solved.
