History has a funny way of repeating itself. Instead of focus to be on growth of the region. You think by mass bloodshed you will accomplish your goals? I pity them. How many decades was SE setback due to Biafran War? And they were well armed past these dreamers. These ones want to make it centuries of oppression /neglect instead. I just pity the helpless populace stuck between political rivalry. They are literally playing with your lives. Me? I can never fight for a politician or any so called "brother". Too sharp! Highest I will defend my land against any invader. Atiku said it best after the 2023 election, "Because there is no zone alone in this country that can produce a President on his own. I have always told my Igbo compatriots that you negotiate for power, you don’t fight for it." |
TenQ:Ukraine that has already lost? Ignore all the propaganda they lost air supremacy very early. Air defences, tanks and armoured vehicles that cost USD millions are taken out by $20k drones. They are outgunned in artillery 10:1. Not even F16 that they are hyping can change anything. This is why their counteroffensive is in shambles, for over 2 months they are still in the grey zone bogged down in minefields with no air cover and yet to breach any of the 3 Russian lines of defence. NATO must alter course soon it is approaching that stage. How many more men need to die without cause |
Flier:Russia cannot afford to lose this war they are facing an existential threat. Different to the Russian-Afghan war, Ukraine is on the border and failure will lead to disintegration. 500,000 dead Ukrainians and counting with 4 times that number maimed. Current kill ratio looks to have worsened beyond 10:1 where it has been. |
ISLAMBAD:They are using technicality to secure the bag. Nothing to see here. |
Botragelad:We live in a world subjected to US ''Rules Based World Order" which is essentially a valuation system based on flawed economics. Real money is gold, not paper backed by market sentiment. Countries with abundant resources like Nigeria cannot sell its crude for its weight in gold linked to its own currency, we are instead forced to partake in the giant Ponzi scheme of US government bonds. Something they print in their sleep spreading inflation to the world. To worsen matters, the infrastructure that extracts our largest export is owned by these same Western powers. In essence, they extract our natural resources leaving us a mere portion of our profits. Similar to what is happening in Niger, 1 in 3 lights bulbs in France are powered from Uranium in Niger. Yet, 90% of the Niger population has no access to electricity. Exploitation 101! It is a similar pattern throughout Africa. Whilst we own crucial energy resources that power the world, we cannot get true value for our commodities. This is not by coincidence. We have to also note how the west still controls developing nations with aid and IMF/World Bank loans. So check it out, we can't sell our exports in local currency which would spur demand internationally courtesy of our trade partners. We therefore need western loans to plug the deficit in our budget but because of US Rules Based World order the interest repayable is in USD. USD that naira is falling to everyday. So we need to borrow more and more to survive i.e. our dependency on the West is absolute. Do you get it now? It is catch 22 you end up back where you started which is that Western governments have a stranglehold on Africa since colonialism. Unfortunately, it will remain so because without cheap resources there is no industry in the west. Only war can change that but of course they don't sell such weaponry to Africa. It's military capability must be kept down. When you talk of us "moaning" and "begging for crumbs", understand the stupidity that you are uttering. In fact, if you are an African, then you are a disgrace to those same ancestors they carried. Your relatives. The people whose labour developed industries without compensation during that industrial revolution they talk of. |
If not polygamy how do we keep male testosterone on check? We only use it for war and love. A woman in menopause cannot satisfy a man. Wetin man go do? |
kingamaa:It's called the Trans-Saharan gas pipeline. Our gas will flow through Niger and Algeria on to Europe. It's always a game of resources. Yes oo it will boomerang if care not taken. We must guage Russian involvement. |
HRMK:Correct! All of them are for self-interest at the end of the day. No man pure. |
id911:1 on 1 we will crush them but the plot twist is if Wagner is already inside everywhere go burst. This is not our fight. |
kingamaa:The matter pass BAT. US blew up EU's Nordstream pipeline and there must be replacement. They want to use Nigerian gas the same way France uses Nigerien Uranium and gold. |
DrGoodman:For your mind. Wait there. Politicians have no integrity don't allow them play with your head with too much good cop bad cop! |
The argument is valid... |
So when the masses cried out from under his new naira he didn't know that his day of reckoning was coming? |
Amotolongbo:Seriously? Name a tribe in Nigeria that is more accommodating than the Yoruba? From Lagos to Ibadan you will even see many Igbos conducting business peacefully. Many even speak Yoruba. You just de yarn nonsense. |
Ibori is a Delta man so it is only right that I also add that this same UK that won't allow Nigeria to extract crude oil ourselves. They use underhand tactics to ensure that the status quo remains. Imagine another nation dictating to us our share of profits. Free our resources first before you talk of corruption! |
Pot calling kettle black, the hypocrisy really stinks! Where do I start? This same UK where politicians enriched themselves with lucrative contracts during the plandemic. The matter died. Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson that awarded contracts to Jennifer Arcuri that he was having an affair with? The matter died. Or is it US we want to talk next? Incumbent President Joe Biden collecting bribes and also enriching family members? The matter is currently dying. Beyond corruption they are war criminals yet none of them has ever smelt trial at The Hague. In this corruption game our leaders still dey learn work. |
Awon land grabbers! They want to use back door enter give them chance everywhere go turn to no man's land werey |
gentiles:They spineless so? That's why none of you came out to vote that Lagos gubernatorial. If it is to hide inside estate to vote and rig you know that one. Reach main road and vote, fear of man no allow them try. Your women strong pass. Idiot. |
SangoOlukosoOba:People that are talking about Chioma don't know anything. The real truth is they both deserve eachother. Both Davido and Chioma be ashawo if you know you know let me continue minding my business |
Every time you barb your hair make sure to tell the barber to disinfectant all his tools. Secondly, as you enter house clean your entire head + face. Get baby wipes, add some drops of essential oils like Tea Tree. Let it enter well before you bath. For your sake I hope this is just ingrown bumps. I can see some hairs trapped. Locate tweezers or needle. Very carefully, free trapped strands but don't rip it out from the cuticle else the cycle will repeat. Ingrowns are due to cutting hair below skin level which is usually hard to do but you know as barbers like clippers hitting sharp! Also, cutting against the direction your hair grows is a guaranteed way to cut hair below skin and see bumps. Find your hair growth direction. If they cannot follow the pattern exact then instruct not to shave the hair so closely. |
Emperormartin:Florida is a "Stand Your Ground" state if I remember correctly. Let us be observing like that. |
1Sharon:What man under 70 is looking at ages 32 to 39? You are comparing apple to orange. Abeg what do you know about men? I would rather date a lady residing with her parents than independent living. At least at home she can't open leg anyhow popsi must involve! |
Bobloco:Conveniently enjoying resources across our ONE Nigeria yet talking Biafra out of the side of your mouth. Why should anybody trust you? I have some news for you.... Alone, California would rank as the 5th largest economy in the world. Notwithstanding, it's resources are still shared by the US federal government. |
Asgard73:How fa? |
This man is truly shameless |
After the fact they will call Yoruba cowards for refusing to support Igbo secession. Why would we support your cause? The same people dragging our land with us? Only fools will argue. I noticed the same trend in other parts of Nigeria. Igbo never face their landlocked area and think of growth. It is to claim Lagos, Edo, Delta, Rivers, Benue and Adamawa etc. Atiku recently gave you best advice, "No region has produced President on its own. You must negotiate for power, not fight for it". They won't hear word! For this, history will surely repeat itself and it was never favourable to your cause. You are strongest when at the table. |
Tiwatoke2:World Economic Forum 2030 Reset agenda i.e. The Great Reset. Make una open eye! I have talk enough |
We need to eradicate 2 things... 1. Business partner scamming because love thy neighbour as yourself 2. Borrow and not repay i.e. borrow money no be crime OP useless people everywhere in your write up. So for your mind now you were winning? You carry high interest loans (plural) to repay high interest loan no major source of income? OK.... , |
When things like Ancestry DNA exist now. I challenge any of these "American" players to take that DNA test and not see Nigeria as a result. It will be like Obi said, 2 out of 3. The world has gotten too foolish with lost people abeg no time again |
Truthisunique2:So what is the way forward? My problem with people is too much talk and no action. Come election day people will sit down inside their house. Is that how we will accomplish change? |
Truthisunique2:Agreed. Honestly, I don't believe he is truly competent my point was we should remove religion from the discussion. Also, what tangible business does he have outside of Lagos State government influence? Respect must be given to how he maximised state revenue in spite of Obasanjo. He will bolster foreign direct investment and tax revenue. Infrastructure will improve greatly I know that much but too greedy for my liking. Any man that can treat public office like family business and refuse to open public books despite several court judgements is not competent in my eyes. |
Let us be real here. There is nothing wrong with a Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket. In fact to go further why are we concerning our politics with foreign religions? Influencers are obviously attempting to undermine Tinubu campaign. It is a sideshow! So on top of our tribal woes we now want to add religion? I like the unwritten North/South power sharing formula, which is important to ensure that no region is marginalised. However, leadership must be based on competency. I am not concerned with the rest. Whether it is Obi, Tinubu or Atiku, let our next president be someone that will bring growth. A person that is serious about restructuring. The current system is broken even the blind can see. We need to grow! Our passport deserves respect. We have abundant resources yet we suffer in poverty and celebrate big men. I pity anybody that sells his/her vote for pittance. Enjoy slavery. |
