I pray for light, God healing hands will be upon her. God will raise up well meaning Nigerians and Nairalanders that will come to your aid. It is well. Just be positive and speak positive words to your baby and see what God will do. God loves her and she will come out victorious. |

moniella, you can start using nido. it is also a product of nestle. i switched my son to nido when i used peak 123 and he was stooling after nan 2. wendy 80, i guess this reply might be coming late. but beecham amocilin has a good taste for antibiotics. Ijeoma2728, my lil man was like that too. nothing bad in late teeth. teething is by genetics. if u had your teeth late, my child might do so as well. 6xtyA, you should have gotten pcm, lonart and amoxilin. those are d basic treatment for malaria for a child. dont leave malaria in your child o. also try and get a mosquito net. it is very economical. mojayo, abeg watch the way you give pcm to ur baby. indiscriminate use of pcm affects babies liver. one love. |
what is this about golden morn not good for under three. I thought that statement was just like extra.extra, precautionary and could not cause any harm. Abeg mothers pls come and explain, golden morn is one of my son favourite cereal. |
morning mothers, quiet a lot to learn from this thread again. @jam04 weldone. my 20 month old son is undergoing that phase now. he is just growing his premolars. had only two teeth at 1yr. he just turned against all the adult foods he had learnt to eat for like four months now on and off. and has been having exactly those symptoms you descirbed. of late again, he started with cough, cattarh temperature, and loss of apetite except for tea and golden morn. never knew teething could make him loose appetite. have taken him to his pead. and was given some drugs. he is much better now. but i will definately stick to your advise on cattarh. he does that like crazy. my younger son, just 3weeks, breaths like he has cattarh in his nose. abeg, what can i do. i have put silverbird in his hair oil, apply nycil baby menthol and cover him up. infact the windows in the house are usually shut. abeg, help a mom, is there any other remedy. |

anjyskye: @ all can my 4months old baby take nutrend? Just stopped ebf n she has refused 2 take nan1 even water frm d feeding bottle.nutrend is for babies six months and up. i think u should still contine ebf till six months or continue to try making her love formula as it will also help with starting solids. it took my son like a week of refusal to finally accept nan 1. |
corpus christi, i love everything about it. The long trekk, stares from people rushing out to have a look, the dancings, the altar boys, the priest, the flowergirls. I was a flowergirl for two years. The third year, the sisters said i was too tall. The event is great. Talk about the knights, the brigades, the different sections and we will be running around then looking for the group that was most interesting and finally crashing at st. gregs, Oh my, its great. |
Efemena_xy: Your response is confusing. Do you mean to say that: You can't find a husband sueing his wife for r.@pe?corrected. Thanks |
ladionline: Ona has to do with creativity, trade, and dealbrokerage. From this we have onaja or onoja: a variant of Ona is Ota or Ora or Oloja. ths particularly crept into Ifa as awon omo oloja merindinlogun. From this same ona, the ancient Yoruba derive the word "anago". it still feature in people's name till date, expecially among the Ijebus.lol, my mum back then was always calling one man baba anago. i thot that was because the man was a watch repairer. thanks for enlightening me. i'll stick with the creativity, trade thing. onafadekemi, my trade had blessed me with a crown, isnt it? |
Ilaje44: Do you speak Yoruba? If you do, what is "WAY, ROAD, PATH etc. pp." in Yoruba? The ona in your name has to do with the DEITY of the WAY (TRAVELLER's PROTECTOR), rather than the road itself protecting you. For instance, in ONAFADEKEMI, there is the ROAD, the CROWN, and the YOU being protected/cared for. ONA cared for YOU with the help of the CROWN. This means the OLUONA (the Gods) cared for YOU through the CROWN (OBA = KING), which could be understood to mean that you had a SAFE journey.deity of the way. that sounds more acceptable. thanks. |
yellowpawpaw: Op, let me ask this;you cant find a husband sueing his wife for rape. men are more prone to being aggressive and it is only when a woman wants to deal with a man do you find cases of rape. usually, the man is not always her husband. |
You find this also in Lagos, Nigeria. you see a Catholic church that is predominately Igbo owned and the Yorubas are leaving to look for a church with Yoruba congregation. basically, the issue is usually the mode of praise and worship. Igbos will want to avoid yoruba churches cos of this and vice versa. not racism this time, but tribalism. it a sort of way of finding a sense of belonging. i was recently speaking with a calabar man who married a Yoruba woman and he told me that in his church, many of the couples are a mix breed of Calabar and Yoruba men and women. its just a normal cause of life, always wanting to find a sense belonging whereever you are, and the church, no exception. |
i.:dont be too sure. i have heard of a court case in this nigeria, alakuko to be precise where the wife sue her husband to court saying she wanted divorce that his thing was not big enough and she was not satisfied. and the husband, nigerian man, was in court too to defend himself. You can imagine the drama the embarrassment. husband told court that it is his wife that can determine the right size of thing that can satisfy her. after all there are differnet men with different sizes. infact, i cant laugh. |
ona2: was hoping i would get the meaning of my name: ONAJOKE, ONAFADEKEMI. I can understand fadekemi and maybe joke but the ona is what?can any body help out |
was hoping i would get the meaning of my name: ONAJOKE, ONAFADEKEMI. I can understand fadekemi and maybe joke but the ona is what? |
Nkeon: No it wasn't! There is roughly a 30 year difference but I should also add that my mum was around 30 years old when they met so it wasn't a teenage/adult relationship thing.Nkeon, nice meeting u here. but really, i think you should just work at finding peace with yourself and ur parent rather than trying to mend their differences. they have been at for like how long now to no avail. if ur mum was 30 years old that makes ur dad 60 years old at marriage and like how old now, 80, 85, common, he is getting old and will need u and ur sister soonest. forget all the fights, and just act like u've got seperated parent. dont let ur mum rope u in with her discussion on ur dad's attitude. just act neutral. be a daughter to ur dad and ur mum and have a good life, u'll find things much easier. plan to have a healthy marriage as we discussed on the other thread and God will work out the rest. |
God save our children. Last time it was my pikin teething mixture. |
berem: Isn't it so funny that while some women complain bitterly about their husbands not satisfying them sexually, some other women are complaining of their husbands being sex addicts. If caution is not taken, the two can lead to divorce. God save us from this thing called marriage.seriously mr bro, i was dumbfounded when she came with the issue. Men, i just told her she has to learn to cope o as she cannot divorce her husband. But being educated she was telling me about womens rights and how court can restrian the husby. na that one bring me come nairaland. i tire o. |
@Mrbrownjay, you are right. not sexually compatible. |
berem: I don't think there's any woman from this part of our world who is willing to sue her husband for rappe. Will she be ready to face what comes out of it? Some women are vulnerable and cannot fight for themselves.you talk true, bro |
