A lot of Polling-units were cancelled in the South, and the reasons stated for the cancellation was: “SCR Malfunction”.. Or that the “Smart Card Reader Was Not Working”.
But in the North, the use of the Smart Card Reader was totally by-passed.

In the long run, I don't think so. I invested in inverter and batteries and for the past 8 years, I have been enjoying uninterrupted power supply. In my current area, we usually have up to 18hours of power supply in a day. In those hours without power, my inverter takes over. Sometimes, when fully charged, I disconnect from public supply, making my monthly power purchase to fall drastically. I cant even remember buying fuel for my generator.

Now, I want to take it further by adding solar. Initial cost outlay is high as I intend to get two of that 535w Canadian mono instead of having four parallel solar panels. I will completely disengaged from public power and switch back during cloudy weather. Make no mistake about it, cost of power from public supply will keep going high. I have applied for prepaid meter for my new build but yet to get response from EKEDC, after more than 11 months.

They have been bringing outrageous bills to people living in that estate. Imagine getting a bill of 30k every month for non existing power. This has propelled me to get this solar even though is being financed via loans. Solar and clean energy is the future. It takes out inconvenience and stress from you.

Twitter made a statement in which they said they don't know President Buhari and which country he runs.

When you're blinded by hate and self imposed narrow mindedness, you will applaud someone who is clearly insulting you.
Most Nigerians who are sympathetic with Twitter today don't know how much of an insult this comment is to even them.
They see Buhari as the target here but there are two elements in this insult.
Twitter says they don't know President Buhari.
But they didn't stop there.
They also added that they don't know the country he is leading. In other words they don't know Nigeria.

Twitter is brazenly saying they don't know Africas most populous nation and the country with the highest concentration of black people in the world. Twitter is brazenly saying they don't know a country where over 11 billion dollars of their revenue comes from with over 40 million subscribers.


Some years ago Pastor Chris Oyakhilome chose to use twitter to communicate some prayer information to Christ Embassy members worldwide.
Within few weeks Pastor Chris broke the records of having the most amount of followers within such a short period.

In their arrogance, Twitter called Pastor Chris' twitter account to question and described the followership as bogus.

Simply put, Twitter believed that nobody from a place like Nigeria had enough clout to garner such followership within such a short time - a feat that no Hollywood star was able to achieve -.

Pastor Chris wasn't prepared for their drama, he pulled out of twitter and challenged his church tech people to design a platform that the church can use. That's what gave birth to Yookos.

Today Yookos is a formidable competitor with Twitter so much so that ex President Barack Obama acknowledged the giant strides made by the platform within such a short time after it was launched.

Eventually twitter confirmed Pastor Chris' account and "apologized" but it was too late.
Pastor Chris had moved his huge followership into Yookos.

Several years later Twitter is saying that they don't know the country that the same Pastor Chris comes from.
That's arrogance taken too far.

Any Nigerian who tolerates this insult is just a self hating sychophant.

Someone says you and your country don't matter and you're jubilating.
Is that not a serious sickness?

These rape matter need to be reviewed and a stiffer punishment should be meted on rapists and murderers.

My opinion:
1. If a minor is raped, the rapist should be paraded around the community he committed the act, flogged 24 strokes of koboko daily on a bare buttock for 30 days, afterward should serve 10 years jail term.

2. If an adult is raped (18+): The rapist should be paraded as stated in no. 1. Flogged 12 strokes of the cane daily for 30 days on a bare buttock and thrown in the prison to serve 8 years.

3. If a minor or an adult is raped to death: Such a rapist should be sentenced to death.

But why rape sef! Which kain thing be this! I'm tired of hearing this!

My suggestion just give him my design and tell him to do just that one for u since baba juju done catvh u to a point u are taking anything he gives u. Don't use my design oh coz if u do, when approval time come and u need one with the title blocks and all mechanical with electrical u will pay more to get it, not to talk of when u will need the cad file. U posted my design and not a single critique. It takes a real quack to put a store just near the living room hahaha

with a due respect sir i think u are taking this professionalism thing a bit too far sir. so what u are basically saying is that a hnd holder shouldn't practice what he studied maybe he should go and do money ritual since he doesn't carry that big name tag to his title? bossman u are an engineer i know that but trust me in structures i don't think u can really go head to head with me even as at 5years ago, i have far gone off to a point i now design for California engineers i ve linked with via upwork and quora, u know what that means right, u have to start studying their design codes, seismic design etc have u even gone into those, or should i send u a design i made for an arab engineer some year back. yet i am not coren certified. all that body does is eat money and eat more money, their conferences are filled with old men sleeping all through the conference lol. in the firm i currently work my ceo will never want to loose me, he dares not i dont even go to office often, i handle big contracts for my self too and they dare not owe me a penny at the month end, thats coz im that good but since i dont carry the coren tag should i stop working and go and start doing yahoo yahoo lol since that one needs no proffesionalism? sir i am not saying professionals shoiuldt be recognized but stop that intimidating talks coz its pointless. i know alot of coren engineers that cant do real design other copy and paste design, we both know the drafting is nothing, the calculation sheet is where the bosses are know. i mean real calculation done manually not those automated ones. my conclusion if u can do those then u are an engineer.
