How can Europeans that came using ships leave the coasts of Niger Delta and navigate all the way to Onitsha that isn't a coastal town before coming down to Niger Delta centuries later?

Show me one college or even church in Rivers state that is older than DMGS, CKC or QRS all in Onitsha. These colleges were established by the British in Onitsha because they actually settled down in Onitsha, something they never did in Rivers except using coastline for movement of slaves trade. They never established anything in the present day Niger delta like they did in Onitsha. Why?

Europeans came to Onitsha and settled down long before settling in the Niger Delta. Europeans established so many premier colleges in Onitsha like DMGS, CKC, QRC etc,, but it didn't make the Onitsha people that started having contacts with Europeans way back in 1500AD to threw away their origin.

Even the oldest missions in the old eastern region comprising of Rivers state were established by the British in Onitsha. It proves another point that they settled more in Onitsha than anywhere in the present day Niger delta, but still yet the people the British met in Onitsha never threw away their origin.

Keep switching usernames to spew the same nonsense you are known for. Obiano has done so well in all facets of development and remains the best so far in the region. Obiano flyovers are beautiful as well as it is unique and structurally sound. The ICC is gonna be the best in the region as well as the international airport that is set to compete with the best in Africa when completed.

If you think he hasn't done to suit your empty head, then bring your useless father to come and contest election. They have the money, give it to them on PPP or any other model and toll the roads. It will be a win-win for both parties as they do not need to MOBILIZE to Anambra agaiMy Brother, I am a little bit disappointed with Obiano. I expected more from him, but he is pushing below the belt. The reason why he delayed until twilight of his tenure to start Airport, ICC and Awka Stadium, I do not understand. Aside the not fit-for-purpose flyovers at Awka, name one significant infrastructure done by him. Its all motion and no movement inspite of the huge money left by Obi for him. Unfortunately they don't allow one to take pictures.

If Obiano finish The following projects before he step down.... (1) cargo airport... (2) ICC Awka (3) Awka township stadium.....I think he will be celebrated and considered as genuine hero in Anambra.... Then the next Governor should focus mainly on roads dualizing,city beatification,,construction of more fly over bridges and effective sanitation.

Obiano has been living in Onitsha government house/lodge for over 4months, it is simply because of the Anambra international airport, he goes to the site every weekend to check the progress and high quality of work because he doesn't wanna hear that work stops there even for one hour. The airport, ICC, stadium, Awka Millennium city(PPP), 6-lanes airport road, key network of roads, etc, are some of his big ticket projects that he is bent on completing before the next election. Massive and steady works are ongoing on all of the sites.

Hopeless frustrated vagabond, your inputs are not needed. We don't need you here because you are a mad man with a phone. Take your inputs and go fix your miserable life. Obiano has done so well in infrastructures, education, health, sports, agriculture, human capital development etc, Anambra is the best performing state at least in SE, if you are still bitter then go kill yourself somewhere.

However, has this administration COMPLETED any major project of significance? 1) Did they complete the less than 3KM expressway between Amansea and Amawbia that was supposed to be three lanes like Onitsha? No. One lane going towards Onitsha still remains uncompleted almost 5 years since they started -> between Juhel Roundabout and Arroma and between Kwata Flyover and Amawbia. 2) Have they completed a simple Conference Center other states like even poor Ebonyi have completed in less time? Its now THREE years since they started the ICC and they have not even gotten to the stage of putting in windows, electrical systems or furnishing it. You have to question why is this administration so poorly performing. From my observation, Obiano's major failing is his poor prioritization and poor human resource management. He chooses the wrong people to execute projects based on sentiment rather than performance. Both his Works Commissioners are from his hometown of Aguleri instead of the best men for the job. As a result just look at the end result. IDC was awarded the Awka stretch between Amansea and Amawbia for a supposed 13 billion and left us with flyovers that trailers cannot climb (due to the steep gradient, congestion at Arroma and Kwata underpass due to poor design and an undulating, uncompleted expressway. Planting grass and flowers at the sides does not cover up their shocking poor engineeringMeanwhile contrast what RCC is doing on the expressway from Umunya to Amawbia. First rate highway construction. Or contrast CCC that built the three lane expressway and service lane between Head bridge to Umunya stretch, the New Tarzan flyover and the Old Enugu-Onitsha road. You award big projects to seasoned engineering firms not novices. Obi did the same thing when he awarded a lot of state roads to Inter-Bau and Paul B. Many of these roads are now riddled with potholes because Nigerian contractors like to take shortcuts in simple road construction in order to pad their pockets,
