See, both APC and PDP are mostly peopled by highly corrupt and duplicitous folks BUT, APC still has a reasonable distribution of 'performers', if you will.

The PDP, in my opinion, is definitely the worse of the two evils as they almost railroaded this country into liquidation with their brazen and wanton kleptocracy.

Buhari has many failings. Buhari has corrupt appointees. Cost of living has been highest under Buhari.

These are all true. But then again, under Buhari infrastructural sector witnessed an unprecedented growth. Under Buhari, power has improved. Agriculture has improved. Foreign reserves stand at $37 billion now, as against the grossly insufficient $24 billion he met. Hundreds of kilometres of roads are being laid every year. Rails are working once more. Corruption is gradually fading from our public offices (much to the chagrin of the erstwhile beneficiaries).

All of these in spite of low oil price, delayed budgets by the National Assembly and the rot he inherited from 16 years of gross mis-rule.

He has his failings but at the end of the day, amongst the other presidential aspirants and their respective platforms, I maintain that he's still our best chance. Atiku is out of the question. That man will never preside over this nation.

The infrastructural sector received a new lease of life under this administration.

That is a vague statement. Not even Buhari himself claimed to have disregarded the court order on basis of National Security. Besides, if that were really the case, why not address us as a nation? Isn't he our president? How about Dasuki?

Honestly, it pains me whenever Buhari makes what appear to me as avoidable blunders because he gives room for vicious but true criticisms from those who ordinarily shouldn't be found speaking among respectable people like Fayose or FFK.

The main mistake he should avoid making is competing against Buhari cause na flawless defeat dey wait am.

I don't understand why El-Zakzaky is still detained in spite of the judicial pronouncements ordering his release. One of Buhari's failings is he has only continued the sad trend of undermining the institutions by our political class. Even if he's a good man and his intentions are pure, he has to bow to the orders of the courts in order to serve as a reference point to others that no single person is above the law.

It's unfortunate he missed this. Anyway, I still maintain that he is the better option than Oga Atiku. It also my hope that the incoming president will consolidate on his achievement and strive to be better at respecting the judiciary because the law is all we have, at the end of the day.
