He made the post on MARCH 8 and it was removed YESTERDAY, yet some folks still noticed!! Omo, witchcraft is real!!

By the way, we all do this EVERYDAY on social media. How many videos, pictures, or songs do we contact their owners before using? Probably none!

Tamaratonye1:

Just in case it missed you, but I know it didn't because I now recognize your modus operandi, which is to hand wave apparent facts away anytime you get cornered in an argument; I've already addressed your arguments on "man's help" in this thread so it's intellectually lazy and quite insulting to come back and claim your stance is still valid without any reasonable justification. Although its not surprising, given that you did this in a previous thread of mine not long ago, claiming "gaps" in my reasoning but failing to prove these gaps despite being requested to do so. Why you always think you can bamboozle me with these cheap tricks is beyond me. And please stop patronizing me in your posts, it makes me want to throw up.

Also, I never attributed anything directly to the Bible. If you're not being dishonest, I invite you to take any line from my topic to prove this. In my original post, I was specifically referring to the things Christians generally teach and advocate, not the Bible. This is precisely why I noted it as a cognitive dissonance in Christianity. Whether such teachings are found in scripture is a completely new debate you fabricated to sidestep the major point of my discussion.

Now you claimed that "...decision on the scriptures shouldn't be based on what is generally said or accepted around but what the scriptures taught.". But isn't this problematic when the scriptures you speak of are, by design, vague enough that there isn't wide agreement on many important aspects of what they supposedly mean? That is why you have people drawing completely different conclusions from the same book.

Arminianism vs Calvinism is a good case in point. The role of grace vs works, of god's judgment vs his mercy and love, and other nuances of emphasis. Major differences in practical application ranging from people you couldn't tell from the general population to people wearing clothing from the 19th century. There was a group called the Shakers in the mid 19th century that were entirely celibate, not just the clergy. Predictably they aren't around anymore. The list is basically endless. And then we have people like you who are claiming to have carefully studied it and accomplished what theologians for millennia have failed at: figuring out the correct interpretation.

The scriptures are sufficiently daft that they made the decision for me. I was a de facto atheist by age seven. You keep saying things like "God's satisfaction," "God's word," etc., as if the existence of your divine buddy were a fait accompli. Nope, not around here it isn't. You seem to forget not everyone on this site is a Christian. Your interpretation of these archaic books is just one among many, and you have not given me any reason to take you seriously. So get down off your high horse instead of pretending that you have any qualifications to teach me.

All holy books are vague templates upon which the current generation can project whatever they want, to validate what they need to in the moment. There are dozens of major and conflicting traditions of Christianity alone, and technically tens of thousands of denominations. And that doesn't even include the free-formers who decide for themselves what they want it to mean. Well, no thanks. Not any more. I've left that behind decades ago, and don't miss it at all.

These are clear truths that you can't and won't ever respond to. You are a nothing but a phony and a liar of the highest order. And it's a shame, because you appeared to be capable of sensible debate. This isn't the first time we've crossed paths on this site, and you seem to be plunging deeper and deeper into the abyss of dishonesty with each meeting. LOL. Continue to deceive yourself. Your god has always been the father of lies, so I'm sure he'll be much pleased with you.

This is impressive.

God is passing a message to Davido. He better do the needful. I'm not being tribalistic, but Igbo no be Yoruba.

R.I.P Fortune.

Dear Suntemi, God uses many means to pass His message depending on the content of His message. When the content is heavy, He uses death.

God used death to pass a message to the King of Egypt. (Their first sons died)
God used death to pass a message to David. (David's child died)
God used death to pass a message to Devil. (Job's children died)
God used death to pass a message to us. (Jesus died)

This is a dangerously stupid_ take.

Politics / Re: Peter Afunanya: Abimbola, I Know What The DSS Really Really Does And Wants by OneManLegion(m): 6:36am On Sep 06, 2021
huptin:
Frankly speaking, I have been wondering about the usefulness of all these intelligence agencies, DSS, NIA, DMI etc, what do they do?

Where is the intelligence when terrorists will write communities ahead of their operations and still carry out their operations smoothly without hinderance, where is the intelligence when hundreds of children will be kidnapped, tortured at will and nothing happens thereafter!

Peter Afunanya wrote a long epistle but still fails to answer the basic question: what exactly does the DSS do?

Took my time to read the whole article and I saw nothing more than the subliminal insults directed at Abimbola and others who question the usefulness of the DSS as well as the usual buzzwords Nigerian institutions and public personel throw around when they wish to avoid the real issues.

Their landlords, parents and their close friends enjoying the proceeds of crime with them all need to be part of the mug shot and those who should get sufficient deterent. Taking the mug shots of the alleged internet fraudsters is not enough. Those their friends already on the verge of joining them in the crime will soon realise that it's not worth it.

It is not joblessness!! It's greed, laziness , bad parenting and horrible company! Give them work today to resume and work , it's one excuse after the other right from their first day of resumption yet they are the ones who will be mentioning the kind of cars and phones Davido, Wizkid, Ronaldo drive and how they want those luxuries like bad.

They even mock their friends and siblings earning legitimate and modest incomes. Smh.

LASG should henceforth withdraw the CofO of those landlords enabling them by giving out their properties to them and parade their parents too for not reporting them first to government when they see the luxurious questionable lifestyles their children live.

My advice to you if you already feeling bad and thinking that your internet fraudsters acquaintance is ahead of you, it is not!! He or she will end up in penury while the honest legitimate modest income you have today would become blessed and bigger as you legitimately and steadily build your wealth. Tell them to their face, " they're the losers, not you."
FreeStuffsNG

Your anger probably comes from a good place and is justified but your suggestions are impractical and downright illegal.

How, in your view, are the landlords supposed to know whether or not a person is a fraudster?? They can't and in any case, it's not their job to investigate the source of their tenant's income.

The police simply need to be better at apprehending these guys.

Okay...

What seems hard for people to understand is that you can't get people to approve of everything you do. If pastor Kumuyi finally speaks up concerning the issue, know that it is likely because of the overwhelming pressure than of free will.

Kumuyi is a man of wisdom. He has influence, his words are not mere and I don't mean bearing spiritual potency now. If he condemns the act publicly, it will be marked on the sands of time. This is a young boy, who is likely to be haunted by the shame and depression arising from that molestation in future, not to mention the boy that pastor Kumuyi talked about.

Social media never forgets. But some things make it more reminding— speeches from influential people for a start.

And anyone who thinks his silence means that he is proud and happy of the act is simply not being truthful.

Patiently read through all you wrote and didn't see any sense in it.

[s]A stupid talk. Any country at this point can embarrass citizens of Nigeria in their countries because of the weak posture of our President. A country's strength is projected by its president. In a situation where you have a fragile old man in the helms of affair, it translates to a field day for his enemies.

Where did I mention the court? I am not talking about the law. I am talking about this 15k man's ability to feed and clothe his own son.

The matter on ground is not that they are stealing his son. It is that he cannot provide for his son. Don't let him hoodwink you. If you want to help him - get hima skill, a job, a hustle etc

Let him send 200k worth of baby formula and clothing to the mother and see of he will not be allowed to see his son.

It is not by sperm - without the right nutrition that child can become retarded. To put it bluntly this man is too boy to raise a child. He keeps saying she left him because he is a pauper then why cann't he fix his poverty. Go and get some money biko then fight for your son and impress the mother.

I feel sorry for his ego but he can fix it by getting money rather than this pity party he asked us to organise for him.

Again find below some costings for a child. Please be guided before you insert your peepee and litter the earth with kids to struggle. The human race does not need more hungry kids..... biko.

That's only according to igbo tradition. In other traditions, a child belongs to the father marriage or not.

Federal and state laws supercedes customary laws, and if the matter is taken to court, traditional law will be relegated to the background. Remember, an igbo lady went to court to claim part of her fathers inheritance her brothers denied her, against igbo traditional law.

Generally, customary traditions almost always get judicial approval. ALMOST always.

According to the OP's baby mama, where she's from, a woman is entitled to a child born out of wedlock. (I can't vouchsafe its veracity, though)

If the (OP) can convince the court that it would go against the laws of natural justice, equity and good conscience to follow this custom, the court might just rule in his favour.

The fact that the child is still tender of years may work against you, though!
