Acidosis: yea ....because you're a f00l. yeah thats what you are.

Didn't you read the NBC will come up with a final result soon?
abi aguleri war charms don blind ya eye? grin grin
you're the biggest f00l in the planet cause you are nothing but a thief. every way una gone, una have come back the loser but like a persistent thief, your people continue. the comical thing about the whole fight since it began, aguleri chief and their state government brought out tangible evidence to support their stanch while kogi we still dey wait for una own. Mark my words, NBC would announce una yet again the loser. Bet a billion dollars on that.
Tell your community to stop trying to steal and do some work on your own actual land. who knows you might be lucky like they were. stop being a lazy grashopper. thief thief people una fall my hand with the oil stealing.

mekaboy: Ndigbo are too divided for my liking. Oil discovered in the east that should make us all happy has become and object of envy between enugu and anambra.

We can't achieve much if we continue like this.something good has happened in ala igbo, we should all celebrate instead of fight.
i was against the drilling of this aguleri oil in the first place but i have to say Thank you to this piece. Enugu listen to this Man.
PoliticsRe: Oil War: Aguleri Warns Enugu, Kogi Govts by OneNaira6: 10:37pm On Apr 09, 2013
Enugu and Kogi need to stop trying to steal this people property from them and go drill their own. which kain persistent thieves be this? you've taken them to court, they won in court. you've asked FG to look over the field, they did and you lost. why are una so persistent on trying to steal their property. what in the world. I'll always stand with the aguleri's on this because this is just ridiculous. it reminds of the grasshopper and snail story.
PoliticsRe: No More Tribal Attack In Politics Section by OneNaira6:
I was wondering who ikenna was after i saw his name as part of the mod. okay

1. The fact that you volunteered to be a mod of this section tells us you really don't know what the heck you've put yourself into

2. your ban tatics won't work because immediately youban one, three seconds he or she is back with another ID doing the same you banned him/her for.

3.this its politics section, not much politics is discussed here. politics should be replaced with attack

4. get ready cause crybabies who will constantly attck for one being an Igbo mod and two the fact that you banned them

bonus addition: expect to get attack threads on your behalf by most tribalistic anytime they agree banned them.

that summarizes it. welcome to the crybaby section of NL. you'll have alot of baby sitting to do. Goodluck sha. i no kno how una don take am

Crayola1: What do you have? You were born a bastard and will probably die as one. You are a nobody and a sycophant of the highest order. You are crying for Achebe but where is your own prize? Your own medal? Being Fashola's cu.m dumpster is not a title that is worth brandishing around but being the bastard you are up is down and right is purple in your world, so you smile with pride at your title.

Tell us what is your life worth remembering for? Achebe's name trended on Twitter, will the town buffoon even holler you name in your water logged village when the time comes?

You sit on here day in day out being nothing but a bitter dried up troll and you have mouth to talk about people who have accomplished more even in death than you have in your life. How sad is that? Even now the so called loser is all you can think about, if you are not opening up a thread on Achebe you are commenting in one about him. If someone is not important to me I ignore them, you on the other hand stalk them to the ends of the Earth. Yes that's totally normal behavior grin

Achebe the so called bitter man is dead and gone, you on the other hand are here and alive and salty as hell. Who is the one suffering?

Please do the world a favor and strip down and douse your decrepit body in gasoline and light a match while holding a loaded revolver between your teeth. Save natural selection the time and the effort of eliminating you from this life by taking it upon yourself to speed up the process. You might finally be deserving of a medal afterwards kiss
DAMMN. this is knockout. wow

alj harem: grin grin grin grin Ignorance my brother is your problem. Even if the name is Mayowa Afejuku, it does not change the fact that it is NOT a yoruba name. Maybe Itsekiri, maybe Edo but not yoruba.
hy I tell you Igbosnow that the west is more complicated than the uncivilized place you call your village. A man named Henry James might not necessarily be from England he might be french.

A man named Mohammed Sanusi might be necessary be Hausa he might be Yoruba.
LMFAO even this dude that long been posting articles on how Iteskiri are Yoruba. how warri belongs to Yoruba because of iteskiri ethnicity is now all of sudden backtracking because he needs to pretend he has an opposite speaking on their behalf. you get more pathetic by the second.

Iteskiri-Yoruba no difference only iteskiri refused to be identfied as yoruba. Its kinda like the urhobo and isoko situation. some ikwerre and igbo situation. and the names were tosin afejuku, ayo afejuku, neema ajejuku-adelaja. now equally come here and tell me tosin, ayo and adelaja are not yoruba names but benin.
PoliticsRe: Questions I Wanted To Ask Chinua Achebe By Prof Tony Afejuku- by OneNaira6: 6:48pm On Apr 09, 2013
dayokanu: So if dem post Ayo Oritsejafor means Ayo is a Yoruba name

Rotimi Amaechi means Amaechi is a yoruba name

What does Afejuku mean in Yoruba anyone?
why don't you tell me, its your language. i don't speak Yoruba. now you tell me what does it mean in Benin?

[quote]http://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/12/most-deltans-against-clarks-anti-uduaghans-sentiments-afejuku/[\quote]

not benin. learn your own language and the ethnicity una long been claiming as one of your own in SS. you have more questions?

And you claimed to be well traveled group in Nigeria, yet you can't differentiate a Yoruba from a Bini and Itsekiri name. Lol what a joke.[\quote]

iteskiri are YORUBA descendant and till date still use Yoruba names. Afejuku is not benin and have never been part of benin. una need to stop pathetically trying to drag that tribe to una BS after they have told una to leave them be especially on this forum. Pathetic WTF? is iteskiri/benin bs so benin and iteskiri now share names. What a bunch of waste. that free education policy was a joke, travel out of SW.

Long azz boring epistle cuz this ngga bythc thought Tony was Yoruba.
iteskiri, Yoruba, there is no difference. share ancestry, act the same way and are looked as the same way, the only difference is iteskiri do not like being seen as Yoruba but rather iteskiri. by the way laugh how una are all of a sudden denying iteskiri una have long been claiming and trying to use to steal warri. story don change abi?

alj harem: Afejuku is not a Yoruba name but a bini name. Yes Dayo was right
Roflmfao. Benin really? since I'm on the phone, idk how to take screen pics on it so I'll write it out for you. A small google search of that last name came out with Tosin afejuku, ayo afejuku, neema afejuku-adelaja. I bet all you did was google the man, since there is no biograpghy on him which included his origin thus you saw the university he taught and made the assumption he's from there. SMH. we all know the difference between a benin and a Yoruba name and though una share some alike, this does not look like a benin name and i googled, the man is iteskiri/yoruba. una need to stop lying and using other clans as shield especially you. if you no sabi, mechionugi. how many times have people told you that? sssssh when you don't know

Crayola1: Has anyone so critical against Achebe actually read his final book. I have a copy and I am going to read it when I finish exams and from what I've been told so far Ojukwu, Awo, and Gowon are all criticized by Achebe.

I think if I have the time I'll post up line by line what was said about each man, so we can find the liars among us.

I'd hate to find out that some of the folks here are just taking pot shots at Achebe because they are tribalists, that were hoping to discredit the greatest African novelist who ever lived kiss
I've read the book though i stopped half way through because of mid term exams, papers, etc. i plan on finishing it this summer. Anyway, from the sections I've read thus far, the man critcized everybody including some Igbo leaders and yes ojukwu inclusive. some people are just bunch of tribalist whiners that's all. read your book in joy jor and don't read it with a mindset of using it to condemn some on NL. you'll lose the value and taste of a literary work by doing so. read it cause you want to

when good men keep quiet, evil befalls the world. so this man is telling us Achebe should have kept the evil done by Awolowo to himself because his in-laws are Yoruba and iteskiri and his inlaws ethncities might cry like babies because he spoke up. Well they should get over it and his inlaws should be grateful he have his daughters for am to marry. Noone should be forced to keep shut about what happened in Biafra and who did what. I never learned about it in Nigeria schools. They are trying to disregard that part of history and trying topush it off like as if it never happened, thus kudos to those who refuse to hide it off. i applaud Chinua Achebe for daring to write his memoir. More Igbo writers should write about biafra and whoever else from any other ethncity that feels they should write their own memoirs can equally join am. Its part off history and nobody should tell anyone not to speak of it. if some people are going to be bent hurt that an author mentioned one of their own in his memoir, in the words of Justin Timberlake, they are free to cry us a river. All this tip toeing so people don't offend overgrown babies is too much. Abeg let us hear word.

as for the author if you had this question for Achebe, why didn't you ask it while he was alive. he was alive for while after the release of the book. nwoke you had your chanc, you never took it so abeg spare us with the cheap publicity.

If i may ask; what is wrong in another yoruba man aspiring to lay claim to leadership, using awolowo's name? Is the south westTinubu's exclusive preserve?

alj harem: You see, you all cannot counter my points other than insults and tribalistic slurs

Lie number 1 : Just like many icons in history which have been over-emphasised by their race, ethnicity and culture, likes of Ojukwu, Gadaffi, Bush are no different from Achebe rise to "unglorious glory" by his people aka Nigerians/Blacks. I liked Achebe and no matter what I say, those that would respect him would still do so.

Lie number 2 : Criticism would always come from those he defamed in his last book. Whether you like it or not Achebe's name would some disappear as he had no record set neither did he do anything worth emulating or remembering that likes of other non-bigoted writers don't have.

Foreign Journalism : All they did is pay respect to a man like Micheal Jackson who would rather associate with other countries than his fellow people. Question why was Achebe in America not Africa ? Do you think likes of Mandela would be respect by blacks if he ran to UK rather than stay in SA ?

Lastly, again what is the point of all the respect and "adoration" if he cannot use his power and influence to help those with no voice.

Look in as much Emeaguali is a fraud, I would always respect him more than Achebe. Take it or leave it and anyone that know the history and life style of the 2 would do the same.
1.) For someone to be giving that title, he or she must have proved to others he's worth and if the entire Africa disagreed with that concept, like they do with the "nigerian is the giant of africa", they would have condemned and put it down rather than uplifting it like they do till date. A BIG HUGE AND UNDENIABLE FACT. If you don't understand why he reached that feat, open a damn book and read. Ewu. Now tell me what is it you've done that should be praised at all? what have you done with your miserable life? I don dey wait.

2.) What kind of stup1d claim is this? Criticism should only come from those he defamed from his book? is that what you are saying? Is that what they thought in your literature course? Dude did a maggot eat up your entire brain? If a writer is bad or terrible, his work would be condemned by EVERYONE. There is no if, and, or, but about that. Like I said, if we start comparing, Nigg@ you know you'll lose so quit now.

3.) Foreign journalism only pay respect to the man just to respect him. Someone please lend this man some sense. ROFLMFAO. Micheal Jackson was praised because, just like Achebe, his work received all over the world. see this nigg@ now hating on micheal jackson too. dude stop hating on those that achieved more than you. It is not there fault that while they were working, you were lazing about. Stop being a hater!! Anyway back to what I was saying, He left Nigeria because the corruption in Nigeria, which your people were the major culprit behind such corruption, caused him his legs. While at the same time, the f2ked up nation did not fix the problem that caused him his legs and does not provide the necessary survival skills he needed ever since the accident such as physical therapy, physical rehab most cripples need. Moronic fool

As I told you before go around and ask why the literary writers of Africa including some of the well respected politicians love this man. Read the african series and learn what and how he used his words and fame to promote other not so recognized African writer. The only way he has to fight for Africa is risking his life in that death trap called Nigeria according to you abi? Oya now, become a cripple and wheel yourself around all over Nigeria. Heck even now that you have your two feet, have you done anything to benefit anyone be it African or Nigerian wise. Lay stay wishing you've had some relevance in the world and hating on those that achieved more and had more more relevance than you'll ever do in your entire lifetime even if you are re-born multiple times like your multiple Ids

alj harem: Look here are facts and I am waiting for any bigot to dispose of it.

1. How did Achebe frictional/personal encounter translate to African writer's best

2. Achebe can never be respect in Nigeria because of his last book that has destoryed the progress we have tried to foster among Igbos with other ethnic group

3. The world elite and educated, God fearing ones can never respect Achebe because he was a known bigot

4. Achebe has achieved nothing for Igbo people other than create hate in the hearts of younger generations fact

5. Not only did he not achieve anything for Igbo people but also he has no contribution/charity/foundations etc for any african society upon his statue so of what purpose is his "respect"
una see why this man irks me so much, if i ever meet him, I'll probably shoot him after I've stomped his head in and take whatever jail time they give me. honestly there is some people that are a waste and this nigg@ is one of them

1.) Achebe was given that name by not igbos, not Nigerians but in fact outside of the shore he came from and till date been recited by other Africans. A mhuge Fact. now go shove your head in a crate of snakes

2.) and who are this nigerians that's criticize him? hmm lets see bigots like are YOU and other yorubas. unknown trying to make a name for themselves like omatseye that's very yorubanized and who else oh year that one bello we've never heard about till today. now compare that to soyinka, okri, heck even most politicians we no like don praise the man. I don't even know why this people, anything they.don't like something they start shouting "majority of Nigeria" like as if their opinion immediately translates as every ones opinion. my guy sit your chamelon @ss down. don't even try on the comparison on how much he's condemned compared to how much he's praised before or even after his death. me and you know who will lose if we all start trolling this forum with praise against critcism.

3.) so is this man trying to tell us the entire world are uneducated including most nation journalist, writers and especially African writers including the one you are comparing Achebe to really? even went as far to call them ungod fearing?even mendela? see your stupd1ty you no dey shame.

4 and 5.) monkey telling people how someone benefitted them or not. na u be master to preach, taking aspirin for everyone abi? even going to the point of talkig about sh1t he's clueless on.better go and read about his african series work. abeg sit your chamelon, monkey looking, bigotted @ss down. its not a must you have to jump on every thread jumping around like an illiterate on crack. when people are conversing and you have nothing tangible to add, be like the rest of us and STFU. don't make yourself look like a damn fool. Always giving excuse for every failure. Like genocide, starvation, blockade, they dont like us. Achebe didn't win the nobel prize, they blame it on achebe's criticism of the Joseph Conrad's word.

ROTFLMFAO @ Yorubas still in tears about achebe writing the truth about their self upheld demigod, awo. something even their demigod said himself when he was still alive which makes wonder why they so angry. Abeg sssh make we hear word. its been months and una still on the "let's put this man down" mood. bunch of women with divks (no offense to women on this forum). funny iteskiri are all of a sudden disregarded as Yoruba on this forum. i see the same set that have been going around annoying all of us that warri belong to them because of that clan whom they were back then claiming as one of them denying it now. see double take. well his mother is Yoruba and he works for a predominately yoruba company and lives in a predominately yoruba community which justify people's claim that his criticism is ethnically motivated. #just saying.

as many have said and written Achebe is known world wide. let me repeat that again, world wide as in made a name for himself in Africa, Asia, Europe, America, etc. world the fucking wide. a feat only few have made. even WS una are using to shield yourself from any attack, haven't had that privilege and i doubt he would in his lifetime. I love WS so im not even going to attack him or put him down just because a bunch of cowards are using him as a shield. To those that even did, I SMH at una.

now in terms of the noble prize, achebe is not the first great writer that didn't recieve noble prize and he most certaintly won't be the last. Mark Twain, one of the best author of all times, let's be realistic, never recieved nor was he ever considered. Henry ibesik, another great author. infact known as norway best author never recieved nor was ever nominated. Auden was another one who in fact was in consideration but disconsidered after he made a translation error for one of the past noble prize winner book, etc etc. Gandhi was not even considered for the peace prize and hilter, yes you heard me, Hitler was considered twice even. Achebe lost because of his defense against Conrad. while reading the replies on this thread, i noticed half of this man critics does not even know who conrad is or his works or what achebe defended Africa against. this just shows the illiteracy of Nigeria. so much for free education.

By the way, the rest that are informing una the noble prize isn't used as a rank of whose the better author are actually telling una the truth. the committee have long been in one controversy and criticism by many nation including their own. some even argue their decision for nomination and winning is getting worse by the year.

Dude even this your post makes no sense. People go to the USA most wanted list when they are difficult to capture and when there crime crosses along state line which tobechi was guilty of. By the way, he's not the only Nigerian to be put in the most wanted list in USA.

Jessica Tata from PH was one

Evbigie Edos from Edo was another one

Infact I go talk, I no care. All I'm going to say is biko Yoruba biko stop. Biko nuu. Most times I see topics like this in USA, it's always una. Biko nu stop, I dey beg. Everywhere in USA, people see Nigerians as nothing but scammers and fraudsters. You go to a job interview, your potential boss all smiles, happy, and laughing alongside with you but immediately he ask you where you from based on your accent, you fit say "Nigeria" his/her own demeanor don change. You go to get a freaking loan from the bank, immediately they see the nigerian citizen in your paper, them go either deny you for no reason other than your nationality or they drill you to make sure you are legit. Biko nu! This is not even trying to be tribalistic but this is getting too damn much in USA. Igbos are not saint, they do the drug dealing thing in Asia, but that sh1t no they affect me or anyone in USA. Infact I no care if una do drug-dealing in USA, just stop the 419. Image of drug-dealing is on the person that caught drug-dealing, not on everybody. No body would think a person is trying to sell them drugs if the person no they show he wants to sell them drugs but this 419 sh1t affects all of us. I don't know about anyone else but anytime such stuff happened and it's a nigerian caught, my own boss start dey look at me like I don join am thief since I'm from the same country as the thief. Biko nu STOP. If you have a legitimate job, stick to your damn legitimate job. If it's not making the amount of money you wish it makes, go get another job. Forget the 419 biko.

Mos you can equally hide this reply but I feel this needed to be said. It is affect all of us sha. If it affects only the person caught, I don't care but this type of crime they affect all of us.
