As an outsider looking in, it seems to me that a lot of the hatred some Igbos might have for Yorubas stems from the fact that although at one point in time the Yorubas did express disatisfication with the Nigerian union...They did not however make the hasty decisions that the Igbos made (military coup, declaring unilateral succession,etc.) and therefore did not suffer the losses the Igbos did.
