bashr8: dont they have people in ebonyi ? we dont even have one single ebonyi person on this nairaland. how backward can a state get

This is a shame. If this is actually for northern residing in ebonyi as some say then the question remains upon the reason they need to build such school in that state. If they wanted islamic school then send them back to their original state. I dont think igbo goes up north demanding for a catholic school, correct me if im wrong..mscheww. They can practice their religion but dont allow a chance that would impact una community negatively just to appease others. Lets all be frank, we all know igbo parents would send their children to those school. As long its a school that would give their children some form of education and its close to home, they would send their children there. Smh. This is the dumbest thing done by ebonyi governor. As for person that mentioned this isnt a new story and that the school has always been there, brother you just made my heart drop. I thought there is still a chance to talk the governor out of it. SE, one of una state need to absorb ebonyi into una. They clearly do not know what they doing thus they do not need to be a state by itself.Shame. hmm, I'm now in full support of GEJ running for second term if this is really the north threat. I hope they find away to allow the disapora to vote on that history making day. At my university, all majors need at least two physics class before graduation; the same applies for other schools around the states. I don't understand why though, for my major, we need four to graduate and it has to be B or above for it to be classified as "pass" for the major.

Dude don't give me that bullsh1t that I schooled in UK. I'm schooling in USA and not Nigeria. Most advanced nations, for every major, the students need at least 2 years in physics before graduation. I would assume the same in Africa. I bet if I goggled it, the same applies to your major be it in UK, USA, Australia, Japan, etc. probably even in Nigeria.

Lastly, At least in physics, a person's brain cognition is stimulated meaning you actually have to do work, you need to think as oppose to English which does absolutely nothing to your brain cognition. In my field of studies, physics isn't needed as much except for mcat yet I've taken 3 physics courses already. I won't say I'm an expert in it but basic things should be easy. Seven of my friends are psychology, anthropological, Business, Education, Legal, History and Human services majors yet they've taken physics too. Not to mention my ex-girlfriend whose major is nursing and just like my seven friend, she took physics. Now imagine someone that is an engineering and or computer science major. Engineering I know for a fact is predominately physics.
