In as much as I respect Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, I can as well see that he was scared of the strength and might of MEND prior to his emergence as Mr. President. The big mistake he did was creating division between members of MEND and painting the OKAH brothers black while exonerated and dinned with the Tompolos. This might have been due to bad advisers at that point in time. However, like I use to say Mr. Jonathan was too young then to pick all the unnecessary fight during his regime. This might come back to witch-hunt him. My advise to MEND is to forgive and pardon him and let peace reign. He meant well for the Nation, though he felt stealing isn't corruption. |

The US ambassadors are the most ranked citizens in their country of primary assignment. As such the US ambassador to Nigeria will not bring America to disrepute in Nigeria if he isn't sure of the allegations with evidence. The NASS members involved should have simply apologised as they are human bound to make mistakes. Particularly when they do such crazy things locally and get away with it. The lesson here is always watch your actions and speech as a public figure as they can easily come back as witch-hunt. |

When you fabricate story to exit Nigeria for greener pastures. Wetin concern Boko-haram with an IPOB. May his Soul Rest in Peace. |
SeverusSnape:U seem to think through ur back hole? How on earth can u reason this way. Kidnappers are the worst criminal ever live-th. The lives of the abducted people are in danger. If the family cannot meet up with the abductor's request, they might execute the innocent lives. Moreover, if security operatives are involved in the rescue operation and things go wrong they will execute these innocent lives as well. There are loads of things that could turn the whole scenario messy. May God continue to Protect us against all the evils of the day. |
It's a shame for a graduate of mech&chem Eng who should focus on how to become a great personality and also make his parent proud to be involved in such a sham. Now Daura is proving they've got high-level intelligence like that of CSI & 24. The aggrieved youth should either negotiate or focus on their respective trade towards making impact on their immediate community. United we stand, divided we shall all fall. |
The man is too arrogant, reckless, naive and inexperienced to serve in that capacity. Maybe he's trying to show the VP(mere commissioner) he has more power as a governor. The president should also mind his closeness to Aisha Buhari, despite the rumour that he wants to become their in-law. On the other hand he needs to be careful with the way he handles both the civil servants and the university lecturers in his state. His end might not be good if he doesn't amend his ways of governance (Law of Karma awaits him). |
It's just a shame that we have kindergarten team as the president's choice in handling the economy. This set of people from CBN to Min of Finance can make or mar the president. They can also expedite his exit before 2019. Oga Buhari do the right thing before it becomes an irredeemable story. |
Is it a crime to own a property abroad as a public servant? If yes Gen. Buratai should re-consider his position as chief of Army staff. If No, he can ride on gallantly to crush the enemies of the State. |
The real wrestle has just began (naija summer slam) aka fayose v Buhari.. This is coming after the president declared that he's ready to wrestle with corrupt Nigerians. lets see who will win by the refree's 3-count. I can see someone going to jail faster than anticipated o.. |
2 Baba has been flexing since 1890.. He's truly an African man mordenizing the tradition of his forefathers. But I sincerely feel for him as his old age will be ripped apart with the battle of baby mamas, step brothers n sisters and above all unhappy grey days.. |
I wish you can express yourself better, but unfortunately it's clear u're a product of let my people go. However, your response is too crass and that makes me laugh my ass out as people like you don't really worth my time. Keep your bitter and sad moment while it last. stefan388: |
This is what is expected of any listening government. However, the followers (gbaramatu people) must cooperate in bringing the culprits to book. We must all say No No to economic saboteurs, criminals and sea pirates. I can see a government willing to transform and change this region with genuine plans unlike what our Son and Hero did (lol). |
This is the fun of democracy. People are allowed to express themselves without any form of limitation. The simple question is why didn't the same group of people claiming to represent ND sue the FG during the last regime when their HERO was the Head of State? Is the issue of oil blocs just emanating into the public domain, despite the recent promises made by this honest administration of allocating oil blocs to hardworking niger-deltans and not miscreants. On this particular case, I suggest they are just seeking some level of recognition from ECOWAS. |
This is when the then biggest party in Africa are now chasing their shadows. The branded umbrellas are now irrelevant in Nigeria hence the need to use it in China and reduce the cost in transporting it. I doubt if the party will produce a candidate for 2019 presidential election (My opinion o). |
May His Soul Rest in Peace. He has lived a life of a warrior (3-wives). He came, saw, conquered and now resting. God Bless the dead. |
Well I might not be a fan of this woman, but let's for once accord the due respect to this hardworking woman. I believe so much that her hardwork earned her the national call to serve under the Yardua's government. She did what most previous ministers of petroleum couldn't achieve by striking deals amongst both the local and international players to ensure the smooth sales of our crude and stability of refined products at a regulated price. The petrol price was so stable and available throughout her reign. Against all odds I've never been a fan of hers but i'm beginning to admire her strong character while in office and thereafter. |
My simple question is how can a country of over 180million find it difficult to get seasoned professionals in managing science oriented ministries. We don't need people that will be speaking English day in day out but practical professionals that will hit the ground running. Left to me the COREN, NIA, NSE, CORBON should all bury their heads in shame as they cannot protest and reject such appointment. Fashola might be a shadow of himself throughout the 4yrs as his position is overwhelming for his capacity. |
pedrilo:The way you've sounded shows your level of ignorance and lacklustre background. You don't pass your message with insults, but I'll pardon you because of ur background training. I can assure you that NDA will soon become history. Just like the days of John Togo who wasn't ready for dialogue but to continue with militancy. |
This is surprising to have such a defeating message from the group that boasted of crippling the crude oil production to zero. It's too early to leave this fun-thrilled party. Like I said sometimes, the Government might have the last laugh. I pray the leaders of NDA wise-up on time so as not to loose on both side. God Bless Nigeria and the Niger Delta region. |
Solar is the cheapest alternative source of energy for long term users. However, one need to patronise good products and ensure professional installations of the product. Mind you it can be connected in series or parallel. A good connection can either make you self dependant or use a hybrid power supply in your home. We have 2types of panel namely; Mono-crystalline and poly-crystalline panels. Both work efficiently but people often prefer the mono as they believe it's out-put of same wattage is higher than poly. Batteries are also an important factor when looking at solar installations. Most of the battery we currently have in market is sub-standard and as such can frustrate the storage of solar power. An average home can comfortable work with 4 panels of 300w @ 24v. Th current market rate for this panel is 70k and above depending on the quality of the product. |
I don't just like it when militants play mind games with the govt. I'm waiting to see the first missile launch aimed at the NAF aircraft and let's see the kind of reaction they'll receive. This appeal they've just made further shows that the missile might just be an empty threat. I wish they can come into terms with th FG becoz the FG will surely have the last smile. By then it will be too late for any form of negotiation. |
