INTRODUCTION
Applications are invited for Gani Fawehinimi
Annual Scholarship Awards 2014. The Awards
will cover 2013 and 2014. The award is for 40
(Forty) students each of whom will reveive One
hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000.00)
making a total sum of Four Million Naira
(N4,000.00)

CRITERIA FOR AWARD
1. Applicants must be poor and indigent.

2. Applicants must be registered Students of
Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria. i.e Universities,
Poltechnics and Colleges of Education.

3. Applicants must have good academic
performance

MODE OF APPLICATION
A. Each applicant shall submit an application
letter, not more than two (2) pages. The letter
must include the name of the candidates,
course and year of study, state of origin and
why the candidates believes that he or she
should be given the award.

B. The application letter must be accompanied
by:

i. a photocopy of the candidates's current
Identitu Card:

ii. a letter from the candidates's current Head of
Department, including correct information on
the candidate's CGPA for the last academic
session

iii. A letter from the Registrar certifying that the
candidate is a student of the institution.
iv. A copy of the candidate's registration form
for the current semester, and

v. Two (2) current passport photographs

The application letter, with all the supporting
documents, should be forwarded (by hand or
postal delivery) to:

The admission form is still on sale at the admission office of the main campus for 5k. Come early on any thursday in July and August. You would write your post utme same day to reduce cost. Any question?

Are you paraplegic or do you have anyone who is paraplegic? ?

I mean, someone who is suffering from spinal cord injury, who is paralysed between T10-L1 on the vertebra level, cannot feel the lower part of the body from the abdomen downwards and make use of the wheelchair for his or her daily chores.

I am not a doctor nor a medical student but this is my 8th year on wheelchair having being involved in a ghastly motor accident along lagos-ibadan expressway in 2006.

I believe experience is the best teacher, I have learnt alot, know the rudiments on how to overcome some stuffs on the injury and make way for a better life.

I am here to advice, share experience and give courage to those who believe its over..it's not over because i went back to school despite the challenges.

Be free to ask me any question..!

Lexusgs430: Unfortunately, from my little understanding. You will have to make enquiries through the hospital, brief on medical reports, already diagnosed prognosis, on going medical after care etc etc etc
The hospital would use this to factor in cost of medical treatment (+-).
After bill for proposed treatments and after care has been paid, you will get issued a medical letter from the hospital, it's this notification of intended treatments you will use to backup your medical visa application.

Please I would like to know if there are hospitals that receive payment upon seeing the patient they are to treat (not life threatening) and which state (s) should be considered much better when it comes to funds, healthcare etc.

Kindly advise generally on seeking medical treatment in US.

This is to inform interested students that Federal Ministry of Education Scholarship application for 2014 is on.

How to Apply
Intending applicants should go to the Application Center on the Website www.fsb.gov.ng to view the category they are eligible for (Nigeria Award, Bilateral Education Agreement Award or Commonwealth Award).

Application forms are obtained free of charge from www.fsb.gov.ng

Applicants are advised to read the Requirements, Conditions, Rules & Rugulations details before commencing with the application process.

Applicants are advised to make only one entry, those who make multiple entries will have their entries rejected.

All applicants must be in the 2nd year of their studies or above and must have at least 4.0 CGPA on a 5 points scale.

Successful candidates will be screened from the 7th – 11th July, 2014 at Bishop Dimiari Grammar School, Okaka, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

On-line application closes 4th of July, 2014.

CONDITIONS OF AWARD:
The scholarship is tenable in Nigeria and takes effect from the beginning of each academic session. It lapses if not utilized within this period.

It shall not be held at the same time with another Award nor for part-time studies.

Change of course or level or the Institution of award is not allowed.

The Scholarship allowance is meant to cover: Institution’s charges, fees and Personal maintenance allowance.
