euromoney: *Mayflower ikenneExmay..when did you grad? Whose regime? Osiboye or Morafa.. Where did you live in Ado? I stayed at Oke-bola but always in Adebayo with my folks. |
cutietreasure: I rep Command Children School, ikeja; Mayflower Secondary School, Ikenne; Lagos city polytechnicExmay..when did you grad? Whose regime.?.Osiboye or Morafa. |
kaka22: In order to fully understand why USA wants to intervene in syrian crisis, we have to look at what has happened in Syria since the beginning of the peaceful protest before it turned to civil war and the role played by foreign actors. Also,I will use two theories of international politics in my analysis.Thumbs up bro.. I really love your analysis based on the two theories. Nonetheless, you never profer a solution to the 2yrs crisis. |
Mubby4luv: I waz then supporting ASUU buh they just proved how irrelevant they re. Selfish old cargoes. their president carry face lyk dry sh**t. #Okada carry me go the nearest public toilet make I shi*t abeg.Guy,na true the old man talk. A good example is Lasu. It was one of the worst universities in Nigeria few yrs ago but with the increase in the school fees, they have really changed and things are working out fine. It may look hard but that is the situation our leaders have put us into...they are ready to privatise everything that comes its way.misplaced priority you say, yes, it sucks though, but if that would be the solution. i think we bettter eat the hot pie like that else, til thy kingdom come they would be trading blames and the students are loosing. Remember, lecturers emonulments are paid as at when due. |
Burlah4u2c: it was a painful experience. Remember d guy in blue/black(from unilorin)?. I am. I just hope the strike be called off soon.Guys are you serious...?? So sorry to hear abt the disappointed, shit happens. Please when is the next date and how do we get to know about it. Would it be communicated and where.?? Please,i really would like to know what happened there..thanks |

How did it go guys? I couldn't make it due to some circumstances but hope you guys had fun. All the best. |
mubalex50: , I would like 2 support U.S in attacking syria, but attacking syria won't solve d problem otherwise worsen d situation, cox 2 wrong can never make a right, in d case of egypt, dat always happen in d third world society,I totally agree with you on the issue in Syria..war would never use to stop war neither blood for blood bring an end it but my question to folks around is ..would the war in Syria end in peace at all?? since Assad has a the strong backing of Russia (Putin) whom to my own observation supplied the chemical weapons. So,if the west is not allowed to come in now, it may take several years and by then Russia would regret associating itself with Assad. You said my mind on Eqypt as well. To me,it was a coup which can be justified because Morsi knew and agreed he failed his people and with his African mentality instead of stepping down, he was ousted, now behind bars causing bloodshed. Anyways, the saga itsef would take long to resolve because the demands of the muslim brotherhood can never be granted. Still watching as things unfolds. Tunisians are back on the streets again..what's your take?? what could be solution to the crisis in Syria and Eqypt? |
Okelity2812: ^ I think it less than 100k; as for the poly i did not write their post ume. Well thats what i got for putting all my eggs in a basketA lesson learnt i suppose.. You have to start preparing now.,make good enquiries, good links for both Uni and poly and pray for a good result..all the best bro ! |
Okelity2812: @ Selena and onlyme, my parents cannot afford the fees of a private universityDue to the large population both federal and state give priority to first choice candidates.. How much is Ebsu and what about poly? I detest when i see high jamb score with no admission. I know how it sucks and fustrating it might be |
Harbioollah: I laugh at the poster above me. The Unilorin i chose, had 242 and 78% in the post-utme and was denied admission while those with less were admitted for the same course.Yes,Unaab is very transparent but dude dont't choose them as 2nd choice else, your 400 in Jamb might be a waste. My advice, not sure of the school fees of that school but if its much, like 250k per session, you can port to a cheap private Uni of maybe 300-350k per session because sitting at home for a year and not making a high score in your next jamb can be fustrating.. Lasu is between 250 - 350k so, if a student can afford that and he/she is denied admission he can port to private uni asap.JUST AN ADVICE |
mubalex50: As a political scientist, I think contemporary issue need 2 b iron out in dis room, nigeria politics, Africa politics & even world politics @ largeYes. What's your take on the Syria issue especially the chemical weapon saga. Also, would you regard the issue in Eqypt that ousted Morsi a coup? |
Seems i need to ask everyone of you meds question..I have been paraplegic for 7yrs now on T10-L1 level and still make use of the cartheter, two bed sores and no sex for the past years. @ to the doctors & nurses..which drug can i use to have erection strong enough to penetrate and what method or form of fertility would you advice to go with "if" i actually get married?..i mean IVF and others or can i ejaculate to make a woman concieve.? What do i do to stop the use of cartheter ? hope its not too long i have being making use of it. 2..i make use of normal saline and eusol to clean and treat my bedsore but if am going to class i pack it very well with gauze..am i using the right form? If yes, what else would you like to prescribe to add and if NO,what's the right form? @phsio...it as been 4yrs i went to to gym for exercise just beause i was cash strapped. I just bend and starighten my legs every morning though i forget sometimes.. What are the implications of this and do i do to help myself and how do i stop the use of cartheter.? Best vitamins and any other. I eat very well though. @lab...as read above..what test would you advice me to go for..? Thanks |
Hmmm...Op, i think you should have added international relations grads and undergrads to the thread. Only suggestion oo.. Diplomats i rep ! |
olivertwist: My friend, I'm not a French so I don't understand what you write up there in quote. If you check again, you'll realise that I didn't mention Dangote or any private business man in my list above. I mentioned public servants like president, V.P, Govs, Senators, House Reps, Ministers etc.Well,i agree with you by pointing fingers at our leaders and i think those are the people we should fight and not entrepreneuers or business minded people whom i think are contributing to the growth of the nation. Imagine,if we don't have private universities in Nigeria. We all know what would have happened. Now to threat by NANS, i think what they can do is to mobilise students from the different states and match to the house assembly to protest; I bet you,if the students really want to get back to school, they would shut the assemblies down till their representatives talk to the FG and ASUU but since the NANS itself is full of buffons who neither know the right hand from their left, seeking relevance in politics. Yes,private universities could be shut if FG provides them with funds and since they don't, at least for now, they should forget the idea of shutting down private Uni. My question is... are we afraid to face our leaders, tell them the truth and shut down the country? If yes, then we would be where we are till thy kingdom come and if NO,we should stop talking but ACT. Who would front the protest?.. My brother, though am in a private Uni,if i see serious minded students who are fearless, not clowns and ready to bring change, i stand to tell you, I AM READY. Are you?? |
olivertwist: MY assumptions after going through most comments above is that:Ferme la bouche.. Seems you need to check what the word 'private" means before you post your next comment. Yes,education is not in a good state which we all agree to but how does it affect a man who invested his/her resources to establish one, and don't forget student unions are not allowed in the private institutions or when the teachers go on strike does it affect the private ones.? So,you mean if Dangote should complete the refinery and other refineries in the country are not working as expected..NLC would shut his factory down abi? You must joking or signed your will because the man wiuld not joke with $9b. |

ShehuAba: I have tried applying severally with my phone but to no avail.you would have to resize some docs more than 1mb which i think you can't do on phone. I also tried severally on phone before opting for PC and got it done asap. |

ledafaze: Even though I can say I dont know how others work, I still know about Samuel Adegboyega University of The Apostolic Church, where I am a church member. The school is the cheapest and even to meet up with the payment of lecturers, we pay special offerings during sunday services nationwide.I bet to disagree. Oduduwa University Ipetumodu is the cheapest and most liberal in terms of payment of all private universities in Nigeria. We pay 178k per semester (except mass com and computer science +30k) & hostel accomodation. It is not a missionary UNI either. |

3RNEST: new unlocked code: 45595166 just "hit the like button"what do i do to my etisalat modem bro..help |
Very educative and interesting but my question is...who do we blame and how do we resolve the issue of emphasis on 'certificate'? As you said, one can become an entrepreneur without huge capital. I totally agree with you but do we patronise locally made goods? Lots of young graduates know they have nothing doing in school, they just have to go since they would be mocked and would never be recognised if "oga at the top does not". Fustration.! To me..it all boils down to our greedy leaders who forget to build the nation & become mentors to the younger generation rather become heros to thugs. Just glad they realised they have failed us |
3RNEST: go lock him up~!to who and where?..lol Pls help if you know what to do bro |
EmperorSeal: you just said my mind, the only reason why I support him is because he is a christain, not that he has done any credible thing for the five yrs he has ruled that state prior to the accident. We just can't exempt ourselves from being sentimental in this country....... Anyway, may God's will be done*is because he is a christain,*** did you type that or it was an error. Haba, you must be wicked. What did your bible teach you.? What as religion got to do with public office? That is why the North refuse to develop...you guys have being brainwashed to religious and ethnicity lines..grow up dude,.. Be you a muslim or christian, if you want to develop your state you would for prosterity and not greed. Since 1999, no christian has governed Lagos yet Fashola is doing well.. Aregebsola is a muslim,he gave the ifa worshippers to operate freely. Its not about religion, its about legacy.. |
Hauwa Suntai should learn from Turai Yaradua.. #watching# |
International Relations.. Do you stay on or off campus? |
nikiihardehx: I don't. Think this is accurate. I school in oduduwa, we pay 168k per semestr xcluding books which is closely 15k,feeding and other things, but for computer science is 168k+30k ict, xcluding books, feeding, and other stuffz.....my sister skul in Ajayi crowther, their fee is 485k per year, gat someone in Adeleke, they pay closely 450k yearly wif feeding, books,Also not all courses in babcock re for. 620k,some. Courses. Re for 450k,500k....That's All, don't know about other schoolsyep..also an Ouites.what dept are you? |
