peggykorol: No need for insults everyoneWould you kindly be honest with yourself and ask what happened to the emotions and the love you had for him for the past two yrs. . What eroded it..? You never see anything good abt him again or what? If you get the right answer then you know the solution to that. I laugh when you asked, if at 25 should you devote your life to fasting and praying.. Are you really married becos i find it hard to believe that a married woman cannot pray and fast for her gome to bve intact.Still laughing..okay at what age would you start that.? Ladies, can you read that? That was the first thing you ought to have done before the marriage. Now, i conclude that the marriage foundation was VERY bad and you have made up your mind to opt out. if you decide to close the thread try and find an elderly woman divorcee would be more preferable to advice you because what you think might not be what you would get. Am not married neither am i a divorcee but i know what it means to come from a broken or polygamous home. Your daughter might not forgive you if things turn around to be what you don't expect. My sister, please you're not getting younger some of your mates are in churches and mosque seeking the face of God for a man to be their husband. I don't think there is anything anybody can say again since you're not ready to make it work. I wish you all the best but pray for yourself if you can't pray for the father of your daughter.. |

Phema: You are very silly!! Will you get off my thread?? This thread doesn't harbour people like you. Go back to that one that you spewed thrash. Thank you!You don't need to be mad Ma'am. Take the piece of advice and be a wise woman. |
Good you're about to get married or already said I DO..i can't believe a married or about to get married lady using those insultive words.. Ma'am,now you have a lesson to learn from the post you quoted me..it's also a test case for you to know marriage is not a child's play and you put the right pegs into the right hole( if you haven't said I DO). A yoruba mother would always tell her daughter in your shoes that "ile oko, ile eko ni " meaning your husband's house is another school entirely. No teacher, you have to do test and exams which you must pass for a certificate which is your happy home. Mothers or mothers to be do not abuse people, they advice and make corrections.. Happy married life! |
Phema: Onlyme, you are a very big f.ool!!! What?!! You had the effontory to reduce women to mere objects?? Why don't you buy condoms and give to your wife so you will not contract STDs?I don't exchange words with retarden or immature folks like you.. If your husband is cheating on you and he's keeping you away from suspecting is it..Good or bad? and if you later get to know what would you do, kill him,cut his di ck or what? Divorce like OP or tell me... Am not reducing women to anything, just trying to tell you guys that, it's only a God fearing man that can boast of no extra marital affairs and you should know how to take care of your home. Ask the our mothers, they would tell you its kinda hard to handle and buying him more condoms shows you're insulting him and would surely keep off. You can't pray for your husband and he cheats..tell me what his the best solution? Next tym you use those insultive words..you won't find it funny.. Be warned |
peggykorol: This has nothing to do with my job.is not just about the cheating part.cant say all here but it's not just working.i need a breath of fresh air.Meaning you were never ready for marriage either. Guess you have made up your mind. Just have someone to confide in before you go ahead with your plans because if it backfires..my dear sister, which i know it would(not a curse, just talking from experience) because the marriage is young, patience and feverent prayers is what you need. Only God knows what would happen sha. No one needs to know all and you don't need to tell us all. Since your mind is made up,think twice. All the best ! |
pickabeau1: @onlymeyes,i said not all men. What do you term abusive marriage just becuase the man beat his wife. The lady would have seen the trait in him before they got married and since she as accepted to be the wife,no qualms. What i suspect here is that OP is comparring her home to friends or the new job she got would make ends meet or she already had in mind before the marriage that she would not stay long or she never planned for marrige. I wonder why divorce should be the first thing on her mind. She must have parents or elderly ones that can talk to man at home or in church. What abt a woman who has been looking for the fruit of the womb for 5yrs and the man is not agreeing to go test accusing the woman she was the cause, that she must have had lots of abortion before they met. when he later agreed to test he was the one with low count and he saw it yet, the woman kept on praying and hoping before God answered their prayers. Tell me how that man would nor care for her and cherish the wife. She fought for her home or what is the worst thing a woman can face in a marriage if not childlessness. For God sake, its marriage and not courtship and just two yrs..haba,do women really know what they want before saying I DO? Anything can happen tomorrow(many yrs to come)..I mean anything so,think of your daughter before doing anything |
Never would i support your divorce issue. I think it was due to his last action abi?.. Madam, don't go that far..yes,no Mr right out there but you believe with a good job you would be comfortable right? It's a big lie..you need to ask older women what it really means to be married, the home belongs to the woman and a lot of patience is needed to keep it going. Good you have a daughter for him just imagine the custody of the child was given to him that would be another prob and even if you have the custody of the child..kindly ask single mothers they would tell you how hard it is. The man might have crossed his boundary but divorce is never an option and kindly erase that from your thought forever,it is not a good idea for a woman to think of divorce instead talk to God. You can't endure now,i wonder if things were to be worse than this. What you need is God and patience. Tell God to give you enough patience to handle the issue at hand. He's not mad,he would realise later he made a big mistake laying his hands on you depending on how you behave and beg you..he may not postrate but you would see him sober. Have a forgiven heart ma'am,we are all humans and no one is perfect You saw a condom with him and response was not good. Dear, men(not all though) cheat that's no lie, all you have to do is to make sure you buy more for him to avoid diseases. Am serious, WE think doing it outside is fun due to friends, what the young lads wear and how they seduce and believe its a sign of respect keeping the woman at from suspecting. Do you really know what marriage entails? i bet you don't,it's no childs play, if you want to know, find a couple of more than 15yrs for more lecture about marriage. I'm not on the man's side ma'am, just trying to point to you that you need to keep your home.Friends that you're comapring your home with or see looking fresh out there are facing lots of difficulties than yours, yet you see them smiling, they want a home believing someday it would be story and enjoy at the later end. Take your bible, start going to church, start praying and fasting, find marriage books to buy and read, look for matured couples to be your mentor and put God first. All is well ! |
Caracta: Now this is another arrogant and bias comment. Have you been to all the GTbanks in Nigeria? Do you know all the workers in all GTBanks? Pls learn to see things from different angle. The fact that it has never happened to you doesn't mean it can't happen.Ferme la bouche mon ami.. We can argue all banks and i can tell you Gtbank is one of the best. I have been lots of thier branches and i make use of three different banks. Wema na bullshit,i don't pray i enter any of their branches again only God knows why they never left it as National bank..Firstbank..old folks on their counter, they need fresh blood. All they want is fat acct books..FCMB..all they know is scam, they have the worst online banking i have ever seen..oya tell me your bank and i would tell you OP was rude. |
Benard94: I was at the GT Bank today (OAU, ILE-IFE branch) to deposit a sum of money. I went with a private bike to the bank. It has been continually emphasized that public bikes are not allowed at the bank’s car park (although no symbolic indication there). On this day, I was about parking this bike of mine on the slab as I use to do. Apart, I met another bike on this same slab and I have once being told by a security man that private bikes are allowed on the slab. One of the bank security men approached with harsh and commanding tone, “get out! Don’t park there! Leave there now!” Being in a hurry to deposit the money as my friend is waiting to cash it in Lagos; I didn’t utter a word, parked and entered the bank for the transaction. On coming out of the bank, I discovered this particular GT bank security man has contacted the school security (OAU) to take away the bike on the ground of arguing with him.To me,you're kinda rude. No matter what, you need patience in everything you do,if you had little patience and let the manager do his work, you wouldn't have trekked but "ori to ba ma je iko, to ba wo aeroplane a yori sita sha ni." Courtesy demands bro.. The manager need to be apologised to because, the guard was doing his job and all you needed was patience which you lacked. Nigerians always in a rush. O ga o |
Open a new 2go account disguising like a man or the man himself or a friend to her husband..(not sure how smart you are to use that). You try as much as possible to get enough information from her.. After series of chat, you now use the medium to warn her as if you're a friend to her husband.. Tell her things she would loose if her husband gets to know,to delete the 2go acct ( you would help her to delete when she comes begging to help her out) at least you know some of her weak points, you can use that against her as well in words. She would surely opt out.. You can even know why she's doing that if you are really smart. Try your luck |
hawtie: thanks alot.bt i wasnt able 2 cum 4 ma exam last thurday, will i stil b permitted 2 sit 4 it dis thursday? You should, i think. Just check the site or the receipt for phone numbers. Put a call through,am very sure you would be allowed. Best of luck bro ! |

Its normal questions depending on your course .Never mind, just do your best, you ain't got probs with the post utme. |
In my mind, there are a few possibilities: 1. The strike goes on for so long (next year?) and some ASUU guys just get tired and say "what the heck, lets call off and let the schools do whatever they can to raise IGR. That means astronomical fees) 2. Government shifts ground of its own accord and ASUU also shifts ground too. How long this might take is unpredictable. 3. Government shifts ground much faster (and ASUU shifts likewise) because the groundswell of public opinion is so much against them that they become afraid they will lose control. I am hoping for option 3, and that is part of why I am trying so hard to let everyone know what the stakes are so we can mount more pressure on government.
Prof.. You think with the overwhelming public outcry on FG and proposed strikes by different organisations, they are ready to shift grounds. I can see you guys have a JOKER at hand and the students are just at the middle watching and doing nothing. Iyen na da In one of your post you accused the students of not doing anything and they have power to bring the strike to an end. Can you please shed more light on that. I mean, what do you think WE students can do to save OUR future. |
Prof..I have read all your post and comments all day long, they are very educative at least, trying to tell us what we don't know and what we need to know. Thanks for that Sir. I think you're a Funnabite lecturer, that's the only Uni i have found not to be selling handouts, strict on lecturers and students. Just my thought though,i might be wrong. Now to my question..the FG is refusing to shift grounds likewise ASUU..Wande Coal asked in one of his songs "shey na like dis he go dey dey"? What's the best option now.? You said sincerity,we both know our leadeers lack this, and strike is the only language they understand. Would the strike be on for ages? What solution would you profer both on short and long term basis because the strike affected my academic life in 2009,its a long story,i had to start all over again and presently in a Private Uni. I know what those fellas are feeling at home. You must have heard or read of girls getting pregnant, death of boys, robbery etc all in the name of ASUU strike.. The solution that could be bring a quick end to it, is what i ask Prof. |
He lied and he told you the truth which you later understood to be normal for a guy who really wants a lady.Thumbs of that. The smoking issue,he never lied to you but hiding it, which he believes you would be mad if you later get to know...Smart guy. Now,ask him if he smokes and i tell you he would tell you the truth. So,breaking up is not the solution we all have secrets and bad habits, you have seen it and you don't need to use it against him. If you really love him as you said, talk to him and pray for him. You guys have just started and if your foundation is good, you would be one to enjoy your home dear. It's a lesson for you to know how to plan your home. No man is perfect. |
Jodekss: Sir, there is no coincidence in this world, I have seen numbers and signs enough to believe that nothing happens out of luck but out of purpose and reasons which we mayn't know...Thanks so much. The link in not working maybe you check and post again. I would really love to have a discussion on it. It baffles me alot. |
You're right and would like to know how you can assist and what it means..for me,anytime i feel like checking time it's always 7.47 or 1.47..or 7.07...3..47. 7 and 4 is a number that appears at all time, most especially 7..i have tried to figure it out, all to no avail. Sometimes,i even try to add up to see if there is any coincidence. I had an accident on 07.07.06 which made me parapalgeic and confined to a wheelchair..do you have any idea of what it means? |
Please which textbooks would you recommend for the ff courses 1.International Political Systems and 2 Structure and.Organization of government. |
Mumuish..find husband for her now at least you have good friends or ain't they good for her.? If she gets married to a banker and he dies young...who's fault? God i hear you say, leave the issue to God to decide and not you. I wonder what we term "marriage" in this century sef. Haba, all a woman deserve is happiness and a good home. She would not forgive you if she marries another "rich" man you want for her and things get out of hand in future. No mattter how pretty she is,na man go still f-uck am so,why jealousy or you won taste from the forbidden fruit.? I wonder what you would do if he brings a guy on wheelchair home..you would just kill her. You ain't God dude, leave her to her choice and face front. |
Folks who say only private uni have high number of first class graduates should tell me if 41 is not much or is it fluke or bribe again? Congratulations to the graduads especially the guy that made the faculty of law proud. Thumbs up folks. |
Mama said .... It's all about UNDERSTANDING. 98% of love we see is usually based on something, |
oyedun82: currently studyin history nd international relations nd hoping/praying to be an ambassador #diplomatic_tinzCool. Also an international relations student and would like to see if we can share views, notes and textbooks. Are you on whatsapp? |
safe06: @mummyf,what did I done na?lol. Thanks for your advice but what process is that called. How long does it take and how costly can it be? Sure,we would get to see a doctor but getting enough information i crave for before seeing Nigerian doctors becuase of my past experience, when i had the accident, out of curiosity i read my file during one of the ward rounds,i discovered the doctor wrote qudraplegia for me which could have affected me when i finally need a medical report. I need information, kindly enlighten me and if i show it to my lady she would be more assured things can get on without probs. Thanks |
I am a paraplegic (spinal cord injured person)on T10-L1 level. Just got into a serious relationship with a good and God fearing lady who is ready to stand by me till God answers our payers though, marriage is not in our plans now but whenever she carries a baby around me,she looks into my eyes and i can sense the poser. I called her and we talked extensively on having our baby when the time comes..i gave her the option of adopting or travelling out of the country to seek for better medical care but we both read she can concieve through some processes..IVF or stuffs..not sure what that means. Yes,she can but how? I don't have a hard erection that can penetrate so, we are thinking of viagra or the cock ring...is it a good way? What is the best option. Kindly advice us better docs in the house. Thanks. |
Folks,i can see a division here and it would be bad if GEJ would be the cause. You ask what? He's setting a difference and bringing a division between State and Federal Universities which could be a serious problem in few weeks whereby the State govs would call its lecturers back to work while federal schools remain shut..that's the gimmick he would be using to solve the crises. It once happened during OBJ's regime, where the teachers of Unity schools were not allowed to be members of NUT. I forsee the death of ÄSUU.. So,state Uni. Students start preparing, you would resume soon and federal students start praying hard. GEJ has given the joker. |
If only you can click the sahara report link and read the full story, those guys are not joking at all. They have the backing of their people, old, young and women inclusive. It's a serious problem which GEJ should not take with levity or send army to take over,it may be disastrous for his govt. To be frank, those guys are suffering but who do we blame? Not GEJ's govt though, but he as to bear the brunt. The Northern states govs are busy in Abuja fighting for power while Borno and other states are on fire, the South-South govs are also in Abuja struggling over power when their house is about to be set ablaze... Hmmmm,South-west govs busy providing social amenities incase the unforseen happens. You ask what? Break up now ..abi what next for Naija |
