Bros desist from this line of thinking. If there is anything Yoruba is afraid of most, it is a free Igboland by any name 'cos they know we will come calling on them to account for 1967-70. I boldly state that even if you offer them a free Oduduwa land, provided there would also be a Biafra or Igbo sovereign nation, they would refuse it. Mark my words.
They are the ones keeping Nigeria. So all we need to do is to plan to rule them in Nigeria forever.  

Somehow I suspect we are beginning to gain the upper hand in Nigeria thanks to current political realities of a Jonathan presidency.
All we need to do now is to work with Jonathan and some middle belt groups. They will get their pay if they dare try any nonsense.

MASSOB first of all needs to change their name to MASSOA (Alaigbo) or something because that's what they're really preaching for, I don't want non-Igbo to be confused and plot against them. Then they need to mark out the territory they are agitating a sovereign state for, after that instead of protesting they need to start propaganda to ensure they secure every Igbo community and to make their intentions known, only then can they be taken more seriously.

Supported, but I am not a member of MASSOB, so I wouldn't know if non-Igbos are not there, or if non-Igbos will sabotage a new Biafran struggle.
The only non-Igbo that I wouldn't want in Biafra is Ijaw.
I am more interested in the fact that they are conducting a so called "peaceful agitation" while every other sections of the country have standing armies.
I'm more interested in their MO. If part of the development of a solid MO is to make it an Igbo only affair, then they should changed their name already and pursue it. They don't have to declare war on Nigeria. They only need to arm up seriously in such a way as would send a powerful message to other groups in Nigeria. Because of a lack of an armed MASSOB, even Ijaw agitation is taken more seriously than ours.
This has to end.

But if this story is true, then, let no one be surprised of the scale of reprisal, both immediate and long term.

Igbo are usually the last to react to a provocation until it because clear enough.

Fulani herdsmen should leave Igboland immediately. All of it. That is if Nigeria does not want war another war.

Igbos are great at fighting wars in words or on paper. Definitely phenomenal oratory. "No force in black Africa. . ", I think what was Ojukwu said.

Unfortunately, not so good when the rubber actually meets the road.

I am not one to pray for war, but if that day comes, we shall see what is real and what is fake.

If you tell yourself the truth, you would at least acknowledge that Biafra lost because all the nations that mattered internationally supported Nigeria. Simple fact.

Imagine if only Cameroon supported Biafra! Just imagine that. Forget about world powers of the time.
If Cameroon supported Biafra, we would have won.
We could not win without that support.
We still fought though.

LOL. I already know what would happen. We would have a strong base in Lagos, and if Oduduwa make any noise, we would attack and teach them a long awaited lesson.
I can't wait.

If the Biafran Expeditionary force (BEF) was not put under the command of a coward by the name of Victor Banjo, the war would have gone a different way, and it took us 2 days to reach Ore.
We could have taken the whole Yorubaland in one week.

So for us to fight the whole world for 3 years is a feat no African group has ever achieved.
That is good enough for me till next time.

In terms of the hiearchy of martial prowess of groups in Nigeria before the 1900s, Igbos rank probably near the bottom.

The entire state of Israel is not even a tenth of the size of Syria, yet everybody knows who the boss is.
Israel still sits on Golan heights and the Syrians dare not try to take it back. Note that Israel has not annexed it after almost 43 years.
They can, but they won't. That is how God's children operate.

If we got Biafra, we would be within our borders, but Oduduwa will shake if we get angry. That is just the way it is.

Meanwhile as we speak, Israel is FIRMLY within the borders of Israel, but even far away Iran DARE NOT talk when Israel is talking.

As little as the accomplishments of the Oyo Empire may have been, none of your own ancestors have ever conquered even a quarter of the territory. The Ijaw, Ibibio, etc territory you were gifted by the British upon independence and secession, you rapidly lost. 1/3 of Biafa lost within the first few months, if I remember correctly.

So again who are you to mock it for losing Ilorin? Like seriously, who the fvck are you? Who was even aware of you all before 1900?

I would simply ignore your lame attempts to make this an Igbo vs minority issue because I remember Aro exploits in these zones.
So, back to my point.

If Israel only had running battles with the philistines and the Syrians, and was even carted into exile by the Babylonians, then the Israelis must be a very weak people.

If that is your measure of bravery and might, then Israel must be the weakest nation in the history of man because they never really conquered and ruled other people in all their years as a nation. All they did was securing the territory that God gave them.
But I would be a fool to call Israel a weak nation.

The same applies to Ndigbo.

We actually became a nation for the first time in 1967, and the whole world (at least the powerful countries of the world then) practically fought the war against us to put us down.
Now, imagine if we succeeded!
