I also want to use this opportunity to advise Ndigbo AGAIN, that unity is far more important than political correctness. The only unity we should detest, or reject, is one that calls for our heads as sacrificial objects. Everything else can be tolerated in the interest of unity of purpose. No group can ever move forward without unity. So, if we have Ohanaeze Youths, let us try our best to organize under that. Dalu nu. |
Ngwakwe: On behalf of Nzuko Ndigbo Online, we the authentic Representative of Our people call on all well meaning Nigerians to disregard this self serving communique issued by Ohanaeze Youths.Corrected and endorsed. Unless I'm wrong. |
jomogbomo1: My brother no mind this mumu dem wen dey ask for nigerian version Jerry Rawlings . Most Nigerians faik to realize that Nzeogwu was supposed to be our own Jerry rawlings , as matter of fact Jerry actually got inspired by Nzeogwu considering the fact that Nzeogwu was the first military man in W/Africa to embark on the "eradication" of corrupt officials from the system but the corrupt officials realized that the mind of the average Nigerian is full of tribal sentiments and so they began spreading the lie of an ethnic coup carried out by Nzeogwu and his tribesmen (of which we all know the truth) and the rest is history. Isn't funny when Nigerians ask for a "bold and revolutionary" military man like jerry rawlings while overlooking the fact that OUR OWN revolutionary military man came years before Rawlings but we could't recognize him because the scale of tribal hatred made us blind, An ailment we haven't gotten rid of till this day.Well said. Thanks. Truth remains that Nigeria can NEVER have a succeessful revolution. We are NOT one. Revolutions only happen where people see themselves as same. Ihejirika spoke the gospel truth. Kudos to him. |
Ngwakwe: What we need presently are well equipped and functional health care centres in every electoral ward / polling unit across S.East States. Thank goodness Peter Obi and T. A. Orji got 70% pass mark in that sector.I would believe that we have these when Peter Obi and other top Igbo officials stop travelling to London for routine medical check ups. |
Yea, just like the goat liberated the yam from the barn. lmao. |
ifechez: You read and believed, just like that. no investigation on ur part to ascertain the correctness of the claim from ngige/apc .Okay, let say he got half of that. Isn't it plausible? |
ndu_chucks: I'm sorry to disappoint those of you who opened this thread looking for an opportunity to feed your hatred of anything GEJ. The truth is, this thread is about you unpatriotic people, among NLers.I can now understand why you sound drunken sometimes, particularly when some of us sober folks are doing serious brainstorming. ![]() |

Abagworo: Onlytruth I see you as one of the few people that can really discuss development from an advanced point of view. What I believe is our major problem is the inability of the Governments to increase our internally generated revenue (IGR) to surpass or at least compliment the monthly allocations. We need to enlighten our people on the importance of taxing and our government on the importance of harmonizing taxing. No miracle can be achieved without funds.I personally think that the governors (Anambra's for example) are ALREADY getting enough funds to pursue some of the projects of transformation. The problem is that some of them are determined to steal and pull the whool over our eyes. I would take ONE INTERNATIONAL CLASS research hospital sited in Anambra state to all these minor patches of old hospitals which are still left without transformative equipment. That hospital will create thousands of jobs and even form indirect partnership with other hospitals to feed it of patients who need "overseas treatment". Patients can come from other African countries too. Enugu international airport is there now, so the hospital can be sited in Anambra state and equipped with a helipad to airlift patients to the international airport whenever necessary. I read somewhere that Anambra state got up to 2 Trillion Nairaland in the 8 years of Obi's leadership. That is a lot of money. I strongly believe that HUB BUSINESSES are the key to economic transformation of states and regions. |
kingoflag: So, basically in ur head the people are meant to serve the President? No, the REAL people (humans) LOVE Mr President. It is ANIMALS, particularly GOATS like you that hate the President, and they are the ones he should hand a handsome defeat in 2015. We just did a pilot "wack a mole" test in Anambra state, and I'm loving the smell of goats skins as they roast in the fires of their melancholy. |
kettykin: Priority of Development should look like thisMy brother all the things you listed can NEVER happen without the likes of Soludo leading a state like Anambra or Abia, or even Enugu. Enugu is trying but it could do more, much more, because it enjoys old development in the main city of Enugu. My fervent pray is the Obiano will DEPART PERMENANTLY from Peter Obi's philosophy of minute developments scattered throughout the state. We need hub businesses, and they can never happen without things like power stability and INTERNATIONAL ACCESS. We have international access now, but we need AMBITIOUS leaders like Soludo. |
I would advise the President to listen to the advise of the great sage of South Africa -Nelson Mandela. He said and I quote, "The best punishment and vengeance against your enemy is to make him serve you." In line with that wise thought, the best punishment for Sahara Reporters, and their hidden puppeteers, is for you GEJ to hand them a resounding defeat in 2015. Defeat them...again in 2015, and leave them in their dusts of melancholy to sniffle and snort like thoroughly whooped kids. I thank you in advance for doing just that. ![]() |
However, Vanguard gathered that one of the leading services involved has taken measures which could be categorized as fool-proof to checkmate interference by politicians including Governors and ministers by ensuring physical appearance before the promotion boards and carrying out verbal examination whose outcome will be there for everybody to see and assess.I hope they do just that. We need the best, and only the best irrespective of tribe and regional origins. But why do I feel that this can never happen in Nigeria? Well, just watching... |
The mournings and cries of a Judas. These cries can never transmogrify defeat into victory. Ain't happening! |
Someone here questioned the inclusion of Igbo in the top ten, I wonder why? A language spoken by at least 30 million people? The list is very good and represents the closest answer to the truth. BTW I LOVE Swahili. It gives me goose pimples each time I hear it. |
Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. -Psalm 34:21 The President shall live a loooooooooooooooooooong and healthy life in Jesus' POWERFUL name. Amen! ![]() |
bushwailo: Yea, old story, everyone knows that Ekwueme is the Archtect of 6 geopolitical zones.Hehe, just my sentiments. |
engrfcuksmtin: Seriously we need something like Nairaland foundation where issues like this can be directed to. I will not support the lady uploading her picture and her home address to this thread. She has dropped her number the admin should take it up to know the authenticity of her story then we can help.Okay, maybe. But the idea is that no 419 person would ever do that. OP, you can also go and reveal your real identity to the Admin here (Seun) and ask him to help authenticate you if possible, then put your story on the frontpage. I can relate with your situation and we have helped people like you before, but we all need to make sure first. Just be sure that you are real or else... |
St_Black: See this SS minority Thief defending the actions of his majority Thief kinsmen in the east...You are Yoruba, and "Ijaw-citizen" is Yoruba; the bigger question is WHY ARE YORUBA HAVING SLEEPLESS NIGHTS OVER NON-YORUBA ISSUES? The last time I checked, there is NO Yoruba in the East. Now HANSA DE KWESHION ![]() |
Anytime there is talk about Nigeria's possible disintegration, Yoruba people start to shout that "SS" will not go with Igbo. I start to wonder. Where were these Yoruba people when between Pre-1900 to 1967 (hundreds, if not thousands of years) Igbo lived PEACEFULLY with ALL groups in the East? How many wars happened between Igbo and ANY group in the East in all those years? These are FACTS and TRUTH which made the British to simply conclude that these are one people or at least compatible people and put them in ONE REGION. All the noise about Igbo wanting to kill non-Igbo in the East started from 1967 and mainly when the war turned against Biafra. These people must think that others are not keeping accurate notes and credible information. They think that others are fools. Even the non-Igbo in the East can now see them clearly. lmao. Well, I wish them luck trying to fool all the people all the time. ![]() |
Get well ASAP sir. You cannot afford to even blink. Praying for your quick recovery. |
Mr President, I wish you LONG LIFE, because the greatest gift you can give to the Nigerian nation today is to stay alive. Please do that by all means sir. |
Orlando Owoh: The US civil war and that of Nigeria are different. There was no way the FG led by Yakubu Gowon could have let the defunct Eastern Region to secede, because it was an integral part of the larger Nigeria.I believe that the theory applies more to Nigeria because the regions that formed Nigeria could have gained independence separately in 1957. Those who failed to cease that opportunity are the greatests killers of black man's future. Nothing stopped them from gaining independence then, and maybe later re-uniting under a better deal negotiated by FREE Africans. The deal they got was basically manipulated - a trojan horse, and we've been saddled with the bloodshed and destruction in its wake ever since. Quite sad. |
PapaBrowne: While I agree with your analogy, I have got a big ish with what we accept as standard in Nigeria. You look at those infrastructure built in Angola and you get a sense that the job was handled properly from start to finish. You look at a very expensive job done by Julius Berger(Abuja Airport road) and you know it was a well done engineering job but design and aesthetics would always be wanting!! I really don't know why it's that way.You made a very good observation. I will attempt to answer your question. What you see in Ikoyi and parts of VI is a statement on Nigeria's history - a testimony to a wrong from the past. Ikoyi is ladden with stolen (ill gotten wealth from political/economic corruption) of Nigeria's past -mainly from after the war (recall the RRR that was to happen in the East, but instead happened in the West). The only comparative parts of Lagos that hold fair money currently are the newer parts like Lekki and VGC et al. Which Nigerian can afford to pay $1.5 in any part of Nigeria for a plot of land if not the old money people? The parts of Nigeria that should have those types of expensive properties are Akwa-Ibom and Bayelsa states -two of the top oil producing states in Nigeria. I see Uyo developing exactly like Angola's Luanda (due to the world class infrastructure being developed there by Akpabio), and will eventually eclipse Ikoyi/VI in beauty. |
What you need to do is to post your picture here first along with your home address, and then appeal to the Mods in the complaints thread constantly to move this thread to the front page. Genuine indigent Nigerians should be helped. My 2 cents. |
Anyway I think I've made my point. If ever Nigeria will disintegrate it would be along internationally recognized borders like North and South; or North, East, and West (following amalgamation historical paths). I rest. Signing off, Yours truly, Onlytruth! ![]() |
ballabriggs: Mr dreams, you know Igbo so much and you are not at center for Igbo studies, Imo State University.Nwokem shift for one side. You are actually succeeding in changing the discourse, but I don't mind because it changes nothing. The mistake some of you make is to assume that Nigeria's problem is caused by people who question your dogma about Nigeria. Nigeria's arch problem stem from mindsets like yours that add NOTHING to the intellectual base of the country. The intellectual base is needed to build a FUNCTIONAL country, whether as one or as divided entities. You are PESTS (ndi igbo call your type "akwu ani" or "mkpu"--). You are cankerworms eating the country and threatening those who speak the necessary truth to save the humans put there by God. Year after year, thousands of Nigerians die from senseless violence originating from a false national foundation. Why am I even wasting my time with you goat? |
ballabriggs: Only dreams, yere onwegi aka O.Which one be "yere"? Don't you know that Igbo is an EMBEDDED language. You either are Igbo or you are NOT. You can learn the language, but it will keep opening your nyash once in a while, here and there. ![]() |
ballabriggs: Rubbish!!!Atulu ugwu. ![]() |
