ndu_chucks: Eze Ndigbo NL gburugburu, I challenge you to provide a link to a single post where I called for or justified the killing of anyone, let alone Southerners. This kind of lies and attempt at self righteousness is beneath, even you. mumu
I can pull out lots of your posts (though I won't be surprised if you have gone back to modify most of them), the heart does not lie.
You are a TYPICAL aboki (undiluted). Nothing wrong with that. You and Alj_harem are two sides of the same coin. cool

Alj-Harem is a CORE Northerner.
I don't know why some southerners ever believed him. If I were in Nigeria, I would have brought my cousin who speaks fluent Kanuri and ask him to pretend to be from Borno state, just like Alj-Harem is claiming to be from Lagos. I bet you my cousin would pass smoothly for a Kanuri any day! cool
Imagine of all SW state, Alh-Harem had to be from Lagos! How convenient! cheesy cheesy

One of the things that gave you aways is also how other Core Northerners see you. They basically ignore you and allow you to do your thing.
Sometimes I wish there are FEW southerners here too because it would allow us to deal with your type very easily.
A situation whereby every southerner is online seriously undermine us by allowing snakes like Alj-harem to wrap unintelligent ones round his little finger, using them against other southerners.

I have to warn you Alj-Harem, that THERE IS NO WAY THE CORE NORTH WOULD RULE NIGERIA IN THE NEAREST FUTURE. NIGERIA WILL DISINTEGRATE FIRST BEFORE THAT. cool cool cool

alj harem: Dude I am yoruba angry angry angry

The southerners(Yoruba, itsekiri etc) you and Beaf insult everyday are now part and parcel of your friend list ?

Abeg Eze no disappoint me

I am an Awori-Egun man and I am telling you their is NO SOUTHERN NIGERIA BECAUSE OF THE TRIBALISTIC NATURE OF Asari, Beaf etc !!!
The two bolded are the most laughable claim that would ever be believed by a sane intelligent mind.
Alj-Harem, you can hide as much as you like. Ndigbo say that feet that walk zigzig ways, are closely watched by eyes that see zigzag things too!
You are a CORE NORTHERNER from Borno state. You and I know that this is truth.
I only pity southerners who continue to belittle your mission here.
You are arguably one of the most deadly Northerners alive.

BTW I don't think he is alone.

Ndigbo and other Nigerians should stop behaving as if all is well in Nigeria.
Nigeria is engaged in a serious internal conflict with agents of terror supported by foreign elements.
They are sophisticated, dodgy (of course) and focused. Their aim is continued POLITICAL INTERNAL COLONIZATION OF NIGERIA.
Notice how Alj-Harem is on Nairaland 24/7.
Doesn't he have a job or other engagements? I'll tell you why: because Nairaland is his job!
PoliticsRe: Tribalism Among Nigerians In Diaspora And On The Web – A Trend We Need To Stop by Onlytruth(m): 1:21am On Apr 29, 2012
Alj-Harem is a CORE NORTHERNER. His job is to destroy the south as much as possible (from within) to make it easier for the North to continue dominating the south politically in Nigeria.
He is from Borno state, and is part of the "Boko Haram" terror group in Nigeria.
I remember when MASSOB alleged that they had intelligence that Boko Haram had permeated Nigerian security system.
Alj-Harem is part of that group.
The sooner southerners know this the better for them on this forum.

Well, simple solution: VOTE OUT THE PDP!

If the President wants my vote, he should float another party and move there with his loyalists.
PDP should be allowed to die a natural death.

Jonathan should leave PDP or the whole thing would collapse on his head.

lol, thanks a million my brother One_Naira. cheesy
I said it here several times that Alj-Harem is a Northerner. He succeeded in deceiving quite a few folks.
It is easy to know a Northerner (a CORE Northerner) from his mannerism. He has the same mannerism as Namfav, Northsharp, Ndu_Chucks and Nagoma. His lame attempt to claim Lagos/Awori is simply laughable. It is possible that he may have lived in Lagos long enough to speak the language, know the people there etc.
He is like an Igbo persons claiming to be from Kano (believe me if an Igbo claims Kano having lived there for long, you may NEVER spot it). You cannot lie about your LOYALTY though. It comes across everytime. This is where Northsharp was wrong about Ndu_chucks.
You cannot call for the killing of your own people, no matter how you feel. Alj-Harem and Ndu_chucks have called for (or justified) killing of Southerners several times. That gave them away. cool cool cool

alj harem: You hardly see ?

I don't know of easterners but Igbo yes

Willy-willy, Andre who login with other login to do his bad deeds ? I am sure you do not notice that. Maybe I should do the same since you all already accuse me of it anyway.

Onlytruth stop lying, Lets be honest for once so that we can live a happy life.

I am not obsessed with Igbo, all I know was due to likes of Andre, Nchara that have made me research. Nothing else angry

If you can not USE WISDOM to say the truth so your soul would be free then good luck.
Good night
How do you know that they are all Andre?
Believe me I've had a lot of reasons to suspect that A LOT of new usernames are actually Alj-harem. grin

alj harem: Mazi eze, don;t get me angry angry You act as if you do not know Andre and Nchara's activity here on the political board and still I have tried to keep a calm mind but it gets to a point where you know if you do not talk back the lies would be true.

YOU sir Know full well that I have changed compare to my old ways.

You sir know that I do not hate Igbos neither do I like to get in their business.

You sir know that I have fought against Ijaw and Yoruba even Hausa bigots that have tried to insult Ndigbo. You know all these and you still think I have something against Igbo ? How can ?

You are a big hypocrite. The political board is a balance where we SHOULD NOT ENGAGE in Bigotry but when Andre went on and on and I warned him several times and he did not listen either did Ndigbo nairaland care to talk to him, what do I do, allow him to continue ? Certainly not.

Onlytruth, if you curse it would only end up on you just as others before you because I know I have given it all to Igbos. I know myself Eze onlytruth and I know I have nothing but love for Ndigbo but if you all keep displaying your hate, what do I do ?
You keep calling Andre, what did Andre do to you or anybody here? Is he not one of most detribalised Nigerians on this forum?
BTW when did you develop the attitude of being the false defender of Ndigbo on this forum. Since you can here, all you've ever done has been to undermine and sabotage the unity of Eastern Nigerians and Ndigbo. You have never stopped!
Yes, at one time or the other your demons took little vacations and you dropped few lines of truth; but then they returned seventy folds and you commit worse sets of actions, mainly LIES against us. Nchara is even the only guy on our side that occassionally tries to balance the hate coming from SW. He does it only in response to actions by countless SW bigots here, from Eko-ile, to Bluetooth, and others.

You have not answered my question: Why are you obssessing over Igbo and Eastern matters?
I hardly see any Easterner or Igbo obsessing over Northern or SW issues. They simply don't care!
Please, in the interest of your children, stop all these lies against Ndigbo because you will be cursed.

OH YEAH! cool cool cool

You are a man with DEEP SEATED inferiority complex that you cannot imagine your existence without Ndigbo.
All you have done since joining Nairaland has been to embark on a CEASELESS campaign to divide and conquer Igboland.
At first, you tried everything to divide the East. When some Igbo sons started advocating for Igbo only country, you moved into trying to divide Igboland itself with ceaseless campaign of lies!

Why can't you mind Maiduguri or Damaturu where your father is from, or Okitipupa where your mother is from?
Why must your existence include Igbo in it?

Leave us alone! (I'm really trying my best not to curse you!). angry

Alj-harem do you feel this inferior to Igbo people?
Dude your inferiority complex moans into deep hell, and demons will soon answer you by dragging you into it!

Why can't you imagine your very existence without Ndigbo, that you are preoccupied with Igbo 24/7?
Do you know that the curses from people here are enough to hinder or obliterate your lineage?
Why do you love to attract curses upon your head?
I pity your children.

I am particularly proud and happy, that the best Igbo sons on Nairaland are from SS. I will soon give each of them a traditional title. cool cool cool

Let me add my voice in congratulating the IG on this initiative!
Now, before cave men attack me, let me be clear on my stand.

I am a STRONG believer that Nigeria should wind down militancy by all sectors of society. I am ever against over militization of law enforcement. I know that some individuals can't see how the law can be enforced without brute and crude force. Fact remains that it is possible.
Nigerian police men used to be very good at neutralizing criminals (even armed ones!) and arresting them. These days, all they do is shoot to kill (lazy or incompetent police man' methods).

As far as I'm concerned, shoot to kill is a failure of law enforcement tactics. Let the courts decide who lives and who dies.
We should not be copying over militarization of law enforcement from countries whose societies are inherently violent.
Ours is not like that. Every violent crime in Nigeria is almost always traceable to either greed, need, hunger or religion. These can be arrested even before they happen (by a good intelligence driven police force).
In some countries, people commit violent crime just for the heck of it. That is not the case in Nigeria. Therefore we have no reason to copy those societies.

Any police man/woman who cannot arrest a criminal without the use of deadly force should not be in the force in the first place.

Only anti-terror squads should be armed with necessary weapons, and those squads should ALWAYS handle armed robberies and Boko Haram type of violent crimes.
Anti-terror squads (or SWAT teams) are not seen everyday and everywhere. They are special squads that are deployed to areas where such crimes are reported to be happening. They should be well trained and kept out of sight.

The rest of society (being unarmed by law) should not be made to live a life of seige whereby we are always facing guns on daily basis from the same folks who should be calming us down and making us to feel civil.

Police to withdraw assault rifles, introduce rubber bullets

By Johnbosco Agbakwuru
CALABAR – The Acting Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar has said that the regular assault riffles being used by the force will soon be replaced with rubber bullets to fight crime.

Abubakar, who stated this during stakeholders meeting with representatives of various strata of the society including religious groups at the Police Zone 6 Command headquarters in Calabar, Cross River State, Thursday, also said the police and other security agencies will continue to work hard to arrest the activities of terrorist groups and other criminal elements in the country.

The IGP in the meeting attended by representatives of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Muslim communities, the business community and youth groups from Cross River, Rivers, Akwa-Ibom and Ebonyi states, said in order to make the police people friendly, it was imperative to introduce reforms that are in line with developments of the 21st century.

Abubakar said the proposed measure of using withdrawing assault rifles from roads and use of rubber bullets to fight crime was in line with world-best-practices, adding that the ban on road blocks across the country would continue all through his tenure.

“Very soon, the use of assault rifles will be off the roads. We would now be using rubber bullets if we are to fight crime and this is meant to disable criminals. The Police and the environment where they work should be people-friendly and Nigerians should feel comfortable when they approach a policeman or walk into the station.

“Road blocks are gone for good and what we will have now are patrol teams. The mounting of road blocks did a lot of damage to the image of the country and we must correct that. Road blocks had always been when armed robbers and kidnappers were operating freely and will be bribing them. This is the only country in the world where police mount check points using heavy drums and woods among others to block the road,” he said.

Abubakar also said that the Police had recently unveiled an Information and Communication Technology centre in Abuja manned by 15 assistant inspector-generals that will be monitoring activities through cameras in major cities including Abuja, Lagos and Kaduna.

While stressing, however, that crime fighting could not be completely erased from the society, Abubakar said the Nigeria Police will continue to do all within its limit to reduce crime to the barest minimum.

He urged members of the public to always divulge sensitise information to the Police in order to nip the activities of criminals at the bud.

The acting IGP also said that reforming the Force had already commenced with the retraining of 20, 000 officers and men, pointing out that those identified as dead-wood would be shown the way out.

“The intention of the present administration in the Police is to build a Force that will protect Nigeria, provide safety her citizens and guaranty the unity of the country. I want to have the police that will not harass the citizens, a force that Nigeria will be proud of in the 21st century,” he said.

Ejiné: No, you don't understand. As long as I'm concerned, there is no such thing as Southern Nigeria anymore. It will never exist.
If it isn't the Bini people writing to the pope and begging him to save them from Igbo domination because an Igbo man was made Bishop, it's the Ogoni and the Rivers minorities crying because an Ikwerre man had assumed governorship for a second time (in the form of Amaechi).
Personally, I could give a phuck about what the other zones in the South choose to do with their lives, as long as my Anioma region in Delta State is detached from the "South-South" and united with our kith and kin in the South-East. Should the South-East declare itself a sovereign entity, I'd be more than happy to be part of that country. No expansionist bullshiit. If the other regions, the South-West and the South South choose to stay back and keep begging those bloody inbred retarrds in the North to not secede, that's their phucking life, and I sure as hell wouldn't want to be part of it.
If Nigeria breaks into 20 million pieces, how the phuck is that going to affect my performance in bed? Everybody should answer im papa name, and stop looking for who to leech on! That is my point!

So, my brother, what I'd really like you to do for me is get rid of that false illusion of a "South Nigeria" because I hate it with all the venom and fire in my heart. I feel a burning rage in my tesssticles when I hear that shiit, and it makes me want to mercilessly punch you to the ground while humming the theme song from "Rocky"

odumchi: I heavily disagree with this. Personally, I am Igbo before I am anything else. My ethnic identity, which my ancestors have maintained for centuries, is of higher importance (to me) than my country of origin (which we all assumed in a rather dubious and decietful manner).

Personally, ethnic conscious ness is a very good thing which (I think) should be encouraged. In this world, it is very easy to lose one's identity and the fact that those British-Nigerian youths acknowledge their roots is wonderful. There are people in this world that do not know where their parents are from, but the fact that those youths went as far as pointing out their ethnicities is excellent (to me). I wouldn't want my future children to say "Africa" when asked where they're from. Rather, I want them to say, "I am from Amasu, in Arochukwu, which is in Igboland".

That's just my two-cents. And yes, just because I am Igbo before Nigerian does not mean I hate anyone. Let's all give each other space to practice our beliefs.

However, you have to understand that the same people making those vacuous statements are the worst bigots in Nigeria. So they can't think any other way.
They simply can't accept the fact that their man stole lifted materials and never credited the source.
Such people are the reason Nigeria can never make it as one country. To them, some Nigerians (sokoto and Kano princes for example) are "more equal" than the rest of us. So they can never be wrong, even if the whole country is ridiculed internationally for the actions of a careless or irresponsible CBN boss. They claim to love Nigeria, but lack the most basic understanding of HOW a country can be made great. Our views are intrinsically opposed in Nigeria, hence the reason some folks are resolute in their mission to disintegrate it into manageable and rational bits and pieces. cool

@ Onlytruth, yeah, I totally missed it. Sanusi's statement is close, but slightly altered so my search was too exact and I didn't come across the quote.
hehehe! grin grin cheesy

Nigerians like to "pasmaga" a lot.

Look, I still think that Sanusi is just a victim of poor education.
For me, that is the bottomline.

Now imagine someone like that running our monetary policy.

I jealously guard Nigeria's monetary policy because it is one of the FEW good things we have in that country all these years.
If you look at African and third world countries, most of them lose control of their currencies and suffer hyperinflation as a result at one time or another. In the 50-something years of Nigeria's existence, our money has never really gone to the dogs.
I am proud of that. For a country that produces and exports little, that is phenomenal.
Our exchange rate could have been N1000 to the dollar when oil was trading at $20/barrel. It never happened and I'm proud of that. cool

So, we must chase all quacks out of our treasury house! cool cool

Chiroma even has only a first degree in History and he was the CBN gov.

A good first degree in a relevant discipline and considerable experience suffices, IMO.
How good a CBN boss was Ciroma? I wouldn't compare him with all the bolded names. Though Ogwuma was later found to have corruptly enriched himself, under him and Abacha, the Naira stabilized around N82/ 1 Dollar and Nigeria even saved up to billions of dollars in reserve for the first time. He was instrumental to Abacha's economic achievement even when oil prices were as low as $20/barrel.

My point anyway is that I was thinking that since Soludo, we should be looking for BETTER or at least same as Soludo.
It is this retrogressive tendencies in Nigeria that frustrates me a lot and convinces me that Nigeria should not continue to be one.

CBN's website describes Sanusi as having degrees in Economics and Islamic law. Not precise what degrees (BS, MS) are those? On that basis, he has a leeway to obfuscate the fact of his qualifications.

http://www.cenbank.org/AboutCBN/RetiredExecutive.asp?Name=Mr.+Sanusi+Lamido+Sanusi+%28CON%29

But again, the new WB head has no Economic/Banking degree. Thus, difficult to fault Sanusi based on his degrees.
But bros e, Nigerian CBN nor be de same tin with World Bank o.
World bank already has highly enhanced operational processes that are almost self propelling. Secondly, the World Bank does not make Monetary Policy for anybody per se. They can simply advise and cajole (if they are interested). The CBN designs our national currency monetary (and sometimes FISCAL) policy. We've advanced a little bit from the days of half baked CBN bosses. I honestly thought that after Soludo, that Nigeria would NEVER again have CBN bosses that are not top level economists, like obtains in the US.

The least we can accept as a CBN boss is at least a Masters Degree in Economics. cool
