PoliticsRe: The Controversy Over Lagos. . . .na Who Own The Land ? by Onlytruth(m): 5:39pm On May 10, 2012
BTW, we Ndigbo will NEVER cede any land fairly acquired in any part of Nigeria post-disintegration.
We may accept monetary (market)value paid in full for them, but nothing less. And it must be on the basis of willing seller, not forced seller. I know, that even when we get Biafra, there are still Igbo who may like to remain in their prior areas of domicile in "former Nigeria". Those Igbo will be protected by Biafra BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. cool
So, if you have sold your father's land, forget it. It ain't nobody's fault. cool cool
PoliticsRe: The Controversy Over Lagos. . . .na Who Own The Land ? by Onlytruth(m):
T9ksy: I mentioned hausa killing simply because according to you ibos, you own 75% of all businesses/houses in major

northern cities i.e kano, kadunna, abuja etc yet here we see hausas killing ibos at random and turning them into refugees/evacuatees

from the land they allegedly owned. Why didn't you ibos stay and fight for the lands you bought legally? And this is "One Nigeria" o!

Old Boy, please feel free to buy as much land as you want in ogun state and other parts of yorubaland but when "s.h.it hits the

fan" as it will eventually do, at least you and your ilk wouldn't say, you weren't forewarned.
My friend, how old are you sef? Let me guess 17 years? undecided cry
Do you know the difference between INTERNATIONAL WAR and local killings supported by tribalists within the Nigerian army? Secondly, are you Hausa or Fulani? Have your people EVER dared to try that in their own land? Ever?
"One Nigeria" protects a lot of weak Nigerian groups. We (Igbo) are used to conflict and death, are you?
Imagine when you lose that Nigerian protection; would you ever stand other groups (Ijaw for instance, never mind the Igbo) in war? Why are you shouting yourself hoarse here?
You people just lack brains, in short. sad
PoliticsRe: The Controversy Over Lagos. . . .na Who Own The Land ? by Onlytruth(m): 9:52am On May 10, 2012
Anyway, on a VERY SERIOUS note, every land owner in Lagos is a de facto Lagosian. Period.
Any attempt to forcefully remove them post-disintegration, is an act of war.
Just be ready.
Nuff said.

Signing off,

They know, given half the chance, you guys will take over their region.
Why do you people ALWAYS mouth off too much over Hausa killings? Oh I get it now. YOU LACK THE BALLS TO ATTEMPT ONE!
You will lament till the end of time and we will be making hay in Lagos and other parts of Ogun state that we are currently buying up.

PoliticsRe: Onitsha Port Set Ahead Of Commissioning By FG Next Month by Onlytruth(m): 9:20am On May 10, 2012
Err Beaf, it appears that the second bridge should be longer than existing one because the current bridge is occupying the shortest distance crossing of the Niger in Onitsha. In some parts, it might even be twice the length of current bridge! shocked
Well, I hope GEJ swings to action soon.
We appreciate this sea/river port though. It is a promise fulfilled when he commissions it. cool
PoliticsRe: Onitsha Port Set Ahead Of Commissioning By FG Next Month by Onlytruth(m): 9:07am On May 10, 2012
Beaf: @OnlyTruth
Do you know where the new Niger Bridge is planned to be built? That might also affect the future expansion possibilities.
I don't know where the second bridge would pass, but I read sometime ago that it will be a little northern to the current bridge (towards Omambala river/Anam) side. That is far away from the current bridge.
PoliticsRe: Onitsha Port Set Ahead Of Commissioning By FG Next Month by Onlytruth(m): 8:58am On May 10, 2012
The dotted line is where the port can expand to. Of course it can expand farther into the Bridge head market (if need be). All the traders need is to relocate to another sight. There are already too many markets in Onitsha as is.

PoliticsRe: Onitsha Port Set Ahead Of Commissioning By FG Next Month by Onlytruth(m): 8:49am On May 10, 2012
Onitsha, by virtue of its location, is very strategic. IT SHOULD BE A MAJOR TRANSPORTATION HUB (linking South, West, East and North).
This sea port, when fully functional, should accompany other transportation infrastructure to create that hub.
Now, imagine Onitsha with a seaport, international airport, train station and bus station; this town will come alive explosively!
Looking at the map, the seaport has enough space for expansion. I'll post the map. cool

amosy007: if it was not banned.. Why did d judge sent those people to jail? sad does that mean there was no lawyer or human right group that can stand 4 them sad just askin!
Where were you when your so called judges were rulling in support of election thieves in Nigeria?
How many theiving ex-governors have been sent to jail in Nigeria by your Nigerian judges?
If it wasn't for a British judge, Ibori would be a very powerful member of the ruling party today.

My anger at you brainless Nigerian lot is increasing daily. You never use your heads.

The judge is wrong, just like the other umpteen number of judges sitting over human right cases in Nigeria.
That is why Nigeria is fkked!

billante: Am not living at anambra so I can't go on d roads to bring pics! I have only one to upload...but I will list the roads peter did... These are the roads peter obi did:
All most all GRA onitsha roads-( niger drive, park road, new nkisi bent lane hill-otigba cresent etc) enugu road awka rd new & old market rd new cemetry rd,ugwunagbakpa rd,ogbatulenyi rd 33,oraeifti awada!! These and many more just at onitsha...for nnewi: teching hospital road, cutix rd,bank rd,etc for awka: zik avenue and co..and too numerous intra state roads that connect all most the whole villages and towns in anambra

I have an excel sheet that tabulated all the roads in anambra peter and ngige did..ngige did like 150km while peter did like 400km.
Nwanne those roads (apart from those awada roads) have always been tarred. I want to see the following roads tarred:
Port Harcout road
Ozomagala (assuming it retains bad)
Silas works
Zik's avenue
Creek road
Miss Elem's
Mbonu Ojike
Uga street
Nkrumah
Modebe (though I think that road used to be always tarred)
The whole Iweka road (upper and lower)
Bishop Shanahan street
Ozubulu street
Ofili street
Ukpor street
Niger road
and basically all other FEGGE roads.

Those are the roads that give Onitsha life, making it possible for the beauty of the town to spring forth.
Onitsha remains dead for as long as FEGGE remains dead.

I wish the governor God's speed! cool

PoliticsRe: North Recruits Obasanjo To Stop Jonathan . by Onlytruth(m): 4:12pm On May 09, 2012
Gbawe: I agree with checkmating OBJ because when he is out of office or handing over to others he is only inetrested in 'dashing' Nigerians the worst looters and most mediocre administrators possible. A very dangerous, egotistical, vengeful and callous man.

Nonetheless, I don't want GEJ to be a beneficiary of OBJ's 'caging' either. Look closely and you will see that GEJ is fast morphing into OBJ/Anenih/IBB et al combined with his machinations. Everything OBJ did (rout Peter Obi undemocratically for his "son" Andy Ubah) GEJ is matching (Sylva ousted for Dickson). GEJ is only ever keen to learn and implement the retrogressive style of the 'old brigade'. It has been like that with him from day one when he ignored the many who marched for him to embrace the Danjumas and Anenihs of the world after being sworn in as substantive President. He is now also a dangerous and callous man like OBJ.

The middle ground would be for a coalition to throw up a decent and detribalised President who will be fair to all Nigerians and will not , attested to by his history, be a 'pal' or beneficiary of the AGIPs and most ruinous hands in the land.
The bolded is part of the CORE reason why I hate PDP with a passion.
I'm only holding my nose to support Jonathan so far because I'm hoping he would do at least ONE THING different before the end of this year. He owes Nigeria a functioning constitution produced by the will of the Nigerian peoples.
If he fails to do that or initiate strong moves towards that, he will not retain my support going into 2015. No Nigerian should ever ally with those who make life miserable for Nigerians.

At state and local levels, I would never support PDP because it is a party of thieves! cool

thoth: I really commend the Asaba police and the Judge to detering those hoodlums from operating in Delta State. Anybody who has been to Onitsha recently would find out that these MASSOB bastards are just looting, intimidating and harrasing Anambrarians. I will be happy if they were all shot dead. Any gainfully employed person i have talked with hates them. How can a bunch of uneducated vile Okada riders get biafra ? Do they get biafra by harrasing and extorting Igbos ? That MASSOB(Onitsha in particular) is nothing but a criminal gang made up of jobless and uneducated vagabonds run by a sort of mafia boss for money making. What they do now is :
1.If you are building a new house they would come and ask for settlement.
2. If your shipment arrives and you are offloading they would come and ask for Settlement and maybe take a few of your wares.
3. If you are repairing your gutter you have settle Massob.
4. If you want to place a signpost you have to settle Massob.
5. If you have issues with somebody no matter who is wrong the Massob guys can be HIRED to intimidate the person and beat the life out of him.
Everybody in Onitsha is now afraid of okada riders as they make the bulk of Massob. They are known as "Ndi Mama", "Ndi a na- ama aka" and "Umuaka Red".
I use to ally with MASSOB and after experiencing the first batch back in 2004 i sent a huge sum to them when i got back to Europe, the ones i knew then were matured and educated men, when i came back last August those men told me they now have nothing to do with MASSOB as it is now a criminal and lawless organisation.
Personally, I do not support MASSOB or condone their methods. I have condemned their methods here on several occassion. A situation whereby an organisation which should be fighting for us is more interested in running around our streets harrassing and intimidating us, while giving the enemy the pretext to enter Igboland and shoot at sight is unacceptable and MUST STOP.
If I were the governor of Anambra state, I would ban MASSOB and send them out of our state.

Having said those, I still believe that it is unconstitutional and legally anachronistic to jail someone just for possession of Biafran materials. It is a DIRECT ATTACK ON FREE SPEECH - a constitutionally protected right.
Every educated person knows that, but in Nigeria, even Ph.Ds behave like touts, talkless of jugdes who would grant bail to a bomber but jail an unarmed person.
Nigeria is obtuse!
PoliticsRe: Ojukwu Would Have Ruled Nigeria —Gowon by Onlytruth(m): 2:46pm On May 09, 2012
Alusi Okija: The answer is simple;

Yoruba people are snakes. If the Igbos go to war with Cameroun tomorrow, best believe that the Yorubas would be in Cameroon offering tactical support. All they want to see is the downfall of Ndi Igbo.

Even the hausa man would be quick to apologise abd say it was because of this or that.... If you ever are in a fight and a Yoruba man is near you, kill the yoruba man first before you continue your fight. Atimes I woulder if those tribal markson their faces affect their brain. >:9

PoliticsRe: Court Jails Six MASSOB Members In Asaba by Onlytruth(m): 2:36pm On May 09, 2012
They should turn those guys loose.
I don't understand what is wrong with Nigerian mindset. Even so called educated ones are so dumb.
To get arrested and jailed for possessing Biafran memorabilia is same as jailing someone for holding an opinion and expressing them.
It is a direct attack on free speech, but trust Nigerian jurists, they won't even know that.'But wait until MASSOB wires a bomb, then you see them calling for negotiation!
Nigerians are very very dumb and depressing. sad

PoliticsRe: Do You Believe Peter Obi Worked If Onitsha-enugu Highway Is Done by Onlytruth(m): 2:19pm On May 09, 2012
He should fix and beautify the road. The state needs inspiration. I have issues with his choice of fixing roads in Ayamelum and other back areas of Anambra state while neglecting Onitsha the cash cow of the state. If he fixes the money spinning areas, he can tax the areas to raise money to fix rural roads. Anambra should be inspired! The feds can't do that for us.
PoliticsRe: Buhari, Tinubu Move To Revive Alliance Between AC & CPC by Onlytruth(m): 6:38am On May 09, 2012
andresia: A meeting on Sunday between Buhari and Tinubu in Lagos was meant to revive alliance moves between the Action Congress of Nigeria and the Congress for Progressive Change, party officials told Daily Trust in Abuja yesterday.
Retired General Muhammadu Buhari visited ACN leader Bola Tinubu at his residence in Lagos, where they met behind closed doors.

Sources close to the two leaders said they discussed the political future of the two leading opposition parties, especially how to restart consultations towards merger or alliance ahead of 2015.

The meeting came as, according to one source, some People’s Democratic Party leaders who are angry over the outcome of the party’s recent convention consider working with the opposition parties to confront the ruling party.

Sources in CPC and ACN said the Buhari-Tinubu meeting discussed a possible alliance that would include the other main opposition party, All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP).
If you look deep and wide, you will see OBJ lurking around the meeting.
GEJ needs to move very fast, and secure the North Central FIRMLY. I also believe that parts of NE is fair game.

I knew that OBJs willing departure as PDP Board of trustees chairman must be for a very important SELF SERVING reason!
I knew it.
Well, at least GEJ will have Ekpeyong (current DG of SSS and future NSA) to checkmate OBJ and his Northern allies.
I read the tea leaves a lot.
Recent Ezeife's statement that Igbo must produce the next president(after GEJ) is also indicative of how the future politics of Nigeria will be played. These are very interesting times. GEJ should focus on getting Northern Christian support as well as Igbo support, HE WILL WIN AGAIN. cool

Ngige was good in building roads, but we need much more. We need industries, international business and financing ideas needed to transform the state.
