Two sides of the same coin to be honest

It is common knowledge that some islamic societies (like Northern Nigeria Pakistan and other shit hole regions) have certain views about women amd other topics that are not fit for use in the 21st century

But the conservatives pointing fingers have the similar views that are not also fit for use.

Two clowns 🤡 pointing fingers at each other
Your views doesn't make sense. It is the Islamic societies that are against "conservatives" (majorly people who are of firm Christian foundations and who largely built and shaped the 21st century as we know it, until liberalism and other forms of decrepit social offshoots started corrupting things) views about women and societies. Their goal has always been to dominate the world and make it shariah compliant.

Can you give any example of topics where Conservatives have similar views with Islam - not fit for the 21st century?

Ono, I seriously do not doubt that you "like" buda. buda is likable like that. In fact where is ben? I haven't seen him lately!

The problem is you don't know what you like, nor how. It's like you see the fruit and like it but don't realise that's because it is not "corrupted by the evils of society".

But worse is that you do not understand that your "too much knowledge" is the Word. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all humankind.

Your horse is behind your donkey. Here in Britain we first went to these your so called "new beliefs system" and learnt a lot from them that benefitted us immensely. Then we studied what they did so we can do it too and that benefitted us even more. And now they are coming to live amongst us the majority of us accommodate them because they benefit us and because our belief system welcomes strangers.

Below is education in some places, as determined by people who educate their children.

https://lewisham.gov.uk/myservices/education/schools/religious-education-in-schools/teaching-religious-education-in-schools
When God told the Israelites to welcome strangers, He did not intend for the strangers to now become those who will "indoctrinate" the Israelites with their "new belief systems" to make them turn their back on God - as England and the West has done and are "corrupted" thereby. There is no doubt that learning new "things" comes with its own benefits and all. God knew this. He knew that those "benefits" also have poisons - and they corrupt the unsuspecting - as it is today with the West and in England. So, He warned them not to accommodate them.

But buda will not listen to the voice of the Lord. Maybe Coco too (I don't know). See how well we have now fared. Look at the "new knowledge" on sex change operations, LGBTQUISX+, same sex marriage, tolerance that's demonic at its roots, laxity, crimes increasing and rapidly expanding across the West, broken homes and families, divorce, terrible governance and government structures, strife, disobedient children, chaos, deaths.

I know what I like. And I know the devil is out there to destroy societies that turned their back on God. Atheists are hell bound - that's a fact. Those of them that are alive should retrace their steps and seek God. He will take them back to restore them.

Ono, this describes what's happening to church.

People who believe like you are chasing us out of the pews.

I'll be going this Sunday. I got this lovely Christian grandma who walks like .01mph taking me. We good laugh both ways.

I'll remember to take a photo for you.
buda, going to Church does not take you anywhere! The new "Church of Christ" - true believers, are not known by their church attendance. For by their fruits alone, ye shall know them! Right now, the sheep (true and real worshipers of the God) are getting separated from the goats (nominal church goers and many/all liberals etc), in preparation for the end - just like Christ himself said it will be - in the end.

buda, I like you and Coco a lot. I don't know, we can connect outside of here - if you don't mind. Let's talk. You have a good heart. Don't let it get corrupted by the evils of society and the direction "too much knowledge" is taking those who go down that path will find themselves in the end. All things belongs to the Father - He's the source of everything.

To the others in the West, I write. You can all see where accommodating other belief systems have taken you. A further check on AI revealed to me that formal Islamic studies programs started in 1949 in the US. Since then, can you all tell me how well we have fared? If you are sincere and not deceiving yourselves, do you think we have benefited anything from harbouring and accommodating these new beliefs system?

And this, guys, this is what I'm talking about! See what I mean?

Can you all now see where the West is going?? Just read a snip of what this guy said below to appreciate how shortsighted, intolerant, selfish and self centered these people are. I doubt this one knows anything about principalities and powers and the rulers of darkness of this world. I doubt he knows Jesus on a personal level - talk less of fasting and prayer. They don't even care when the Devil dangles a carrot before them - like a trap. Wow!

Because their tummy is their god, and because they care more about the fleeting things of this life - food, clothings, rents and cars and all, they are ready to sell their souls to the Devil! - sell them to even their enemies (for a morsel of porridge), who will destroy them, their societies, their legacies, their very foundations!

Between, I heard many Middle Eastern Sheikhs, along with the Soros and other morally decrepit people poured resources into this unfortunate and devilish win for the Democrat Party.

Basilico, you are right. This right here is an emergency. The Democrat Party as we know it, the Party of FDR, is gone!

Georgia Public sector? what is that? Who is running there? Georgia is purple and has 2 Democrat senators, so how is it a surprise that Blue won in Georgia
My bro, this election is not a referendum on the GOP or Trump - in any way, shape or form. Buda and her friends - Ijebos and company are "rejoicing" over nuttin. Trump is barely a year as President in this non consecutive term of his.

But I have other worries for the West and western civilisation as we know it. Gloomy future ahead for us, if we continue to allow liberals and their terrible, destructive and demonic policies to shape our societies. The West must return to their Christian roots - with fear and reverence to the Mighty Lord and God, Jehovah Adonai. The Lord of Hosts! We have families who don't pray anymore. They don't serve the Lord anymore. Children who don't even know what Christianity is! They accommodate harmful, hateful demonic ideas and agendas! They allow logic, feelings and carnal thoughts to guide their actions. They no more seek the face of the Lord for help and direction in the management of the affairs of the things of this life. We are on a downward spiral - and getting out of control by the influence of atheists, "thought leaders", "wordsmiths" - who like to complicate very simple things for which guidance can be found in his Holy Word - the Bible, and corrupt societies with their "sweet" words.

We have now allowed and accommodated people of different faiths, belief systems, culture and traditions, alien to ours, to now systematically corrupt our societies in the West. All for what? Multiculturalism and to look acceptable to these groups - and feel good with ourselves, but to our own downfall and ultimate destruction? The other day, I read in the news that many Western Universities - CUNY, Oxford, Cambridge, many of the Ivy league Universities, etc etc now offer programs in Islamic studies! We have Professors teaching about Islam in American and British Universities! How did we get to this point in our life?

These are the reasons we have lost it in New York, New Jersey, Virginia and maybe Georgia and elsewhere. This last election wasn't about Trump and the GOP in any way. It is a reflection of a society that has lost touch with their roots. A society that has lost touch with their God.

Death and destruction is in the horizon folks - except we retrace our steps and humbly go back to where we missed it. May God help us all.

For your information, buda has been an atheist from birth, and would be delighted if all religions could be banned. But that would be like banning tribes in order to abolish tribalism, or banning human beings to abolish ïgnorance, and that just might be overkill.
The thing with atheists is that their own perception and/or definition of everything about life is deeply rooted in logic - and by what they can see and feel. A hopeless state to be in, in my opinion. For as has been demonstrated time and again, there is more to this life than what we see and feel and life is more than logic.

There is and has been a “force” - which we as humans with limited and restricted understanding of this world and life, acknowledge that it is at play. We (as Christians) acknowledge that our understanding of the universe is limited - simply by the fact that we are a part of it. You cannot, by any logic, sight and feelings think you know in all its entirety everything that governs a system you’re born into and a part of! That’s foolishness of the highest order on full display!

Stupid elitist thinking she knows better than the founder if Boko Haram. He is a well educated cleric quoting their own books and interpretations. Disapprove his own words here . Trump has nothing to do with this.

Mohammed Yusuf (1970–2009), the founder of Boko Haram, taken straight from his own sermons and police interrogation:
On Western education “Western education is forbidden. The reasons are: it destroys our belief in one Allah; it teaches that rain comes from the sky and not from Allah; it says the world is a sphere—if that is true, China should be below us!”
(Sermon, Maiduguri, 2008; translated in The Boko Haram Reader)

On democracy “Democracy is unbelief (kufr). Voting is unbelief. The constitution is unbelief. We reject all of them.”
(BBC Hausa interview, Oct 2008)

On the Nigerian state “This government is haram because it does not rule by Shari’a. Anyone who works for it—soldier, policeman, civil servant—is an unbeliever.”
(Friday sermon, Ibn Taymiyyah Mosque, 2009)

On science “We do not believe Darwin’s theory that man came from monkey. That is a lie against Allah. We believe only what Allah says in the Qur’an.”
(Open-air preaching, 2006; circulated on VCD)

During his final police interrogation
“I don’t know why you refuse to accept my own Islam… Boko is haram because it teaches things that contradict the Qur’an.”
(Police transcript, Maiduguri, 30 July 2009)

I reference the terrorist own words. Stupid elitists just wash it away by calling them warped beliefs without countering them.
buda is living in lala land my brother. When push turns to shove, buda will gladly shift base to Islam. People like that are in it for what they can get out of it.
BusinessRe: Nigeria’s Currency Surges To 10-month High Against The Dollar by ono(m): 6:11am On Nov 01, 2025
DeLaRue:
That's unrealistic, nor is it necessarily a good thing. Such superfast appreciation may create new pockets of instability in the economy.

Naira reaching N1000 by December will be a nightmare for the CBN and the Ministry of Finance. Both will prefer a slow and steady rise.

Managing an economy is a delicate game a chess. For every positive development in one part of the economy (e.g currency) there is a potential negative effect elsewhere.

So while naira reaching N1000 by December looks good on paper, it will reverse most of the gains we have made in the last 18 months when we started exporting more and importing less. It will also reverse the ongoing efforts to produce more of what we need here in Nigeria.

If Nigeria hits N1000 by December, imported goods will become significantly cheaper next year, and the country will go back to importing more of everything. Yes, the man on the street will be happier, but long term the economy will become worse and more import-dependent.

The biggest short, medium, and long term beneficiary will be China where we import most things from. Over time, our own local industries will die a slow death. We will enjoy cheaper goods prices but our future children will have no jobs as our industries are hollowed out over time. We will basically become an economic colony of China

Yes, it is a good thing for naira to appreciate, but it is better for that appreciation to happen at a slow and steady pace to give the Ministry of Finance and the CBN time to make necessary policy changes.

I suspect the CBN would probably prefer naira not to reach N1000 to a dollar until around mid to late 2026, though I don't think they'll be able to control the timing of naira appreciation 100%. But, I can bet you that CBN will be buying dollars furiously if its data shows an impending destabilising naira gains. Buying dollars effectively means supporting the dollars against the naira smiley

Some may be surprised by the idea of the CBN supporting the dollar against the naira, but that is part of the job of the CBN. Support the naira if there is a need to, and buy (support) the dollar if there is a need to.
One question for you.

Since you're worried about a steep rise of the Naira against the Dollar and you believe it's not a healthy "development", can you look at the trend in the picture below and explain to me why it was a healthy development for the Dollar to rise very sharp against the Naira between 2023 and 2024? - but not good for Naira to rise back against the Dollar (red line with circle) to 1000 Naira within the time specified?

"A veteran of the Vietnam War, North was a National Security Council staff member during the Iran–Contra affair, a political scandal of the late 1980s. It involved the illegal sale of weapons to the Khomeini regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran to encourage the release of American hostages then held in Lebanon. North formulated the second part of the plan, which was to divert proceeds from the arms sales to support the Contra rebel groups in Nicaragua, official funding for which had been specifically prohibited under the Boland Amendment. North was granted limited immunity from prosecution in exchange for testifying before Congress about the scheme. He was initially convicted on three felony charges, but the convictions were vacated and reversed and all charges against him dismissed in 1991, on the grounds of immunity."

I think it is the Trump effect.

The US market is probably no more - under Trump. All the drugs produced in all these South American countries cannot go to their main market (US) anymore. Abi, you want to bypass the US Carrier - the mighty USS Gerald Ford to sell drugs in Florida and Texas? You go wound o o o, that's if they find you alive sef. Abi have you not been following the news? The entire Gulf of America (formerly Gulf of Mexico) is completely barricaded by the US military and coast guards. Market don spoil for drug lords. I also read that recently, an Iranian-style bombing expedition was carried out in one drug producing company hidden deep in some Mexican state mountain completely obliterating the nerve centre of the narco-terrorist ring of Mexico.

All these tells you that market don spoil for drug kingpins in the Americas.

Now, the net effect is that countries like Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela and others who probably have remnants of drug producing facilities will have no other choice than to crack down on those still engaged in this dangerous and illicit business.

Suddenly, the entire West kind of like this idea or should I say "development" that a new block called the "Muslims" block is here to "stay". They're here to "shape the western society" - laws, traditions, voting, institutions and all! And no one seems to sit back and for a moment wonder why we "Westerners" suddenly just feel at ease and at peace with this "development". Some western countries - except for Trump's USA (albeit, not entirely) welcome this development, the UK, Ireland, France etc comes to mind. They are even ready to sacrifice the religion and culture of their forefathers - their ancestors, to welcome these "Muslims" block. And to think their ancestors knows the implications of welcoming this "new" block and did all they could to prevent it, you will agree that their ancestors are turning in their graves seeing what's become of the country they fought and bled for.

I am wondering out loud sha.
