onuman:Suddenly I Onumadu the GREAT have acquired a title of "anti-Igbo" just because you disagree with my points. Chai. You didn't even address the points I raised, instead you resorted to ad hominem. You don't realize that Ndigbo are not your average Joe in Nigeria in EVERY FIELD. It is an insult to refer me to "Sokoto" to learn politics, because Nigeria has been reduced to a hell-hole by people from that side. So, no I would rather choose "Igbo made" way of addressing issues. It is that "Igbo made way" that made current South East the most politically stable and the fastest growing region in terms of socioeconomic development. We got there by being VERY REALISTIC about ourselves. Are you from Ozubulu? Or Umunze? Or their neighbor? If not, then you really aren't qualified to comment on this. Ihiala sef is questionable because they have the Okijas (a very diehard Anambra people). You cannot have these people as currently proposed. That is why I suggested adding Nnewi North and Idemili and changing the name of the state. For POLITICAL REALITY AND STABILITY. Though I doubt that current Anambra state would ever release Nnewi to anybody any time soon, but if the deal is right, maybe... But as far as I know today, I am yet to see any town or LGA that wants to be carved out of Anambra state. And it is not for one reason: It is for a collective or composite of reasons. What matters is that we retain the political stability which the South East region enjoys. That is why I believe that if Anioma qualifies to join South East (note the term "qualifies" because they need some serious vetting first) then it should be a better option for South east. |
Am I the only one thinking that the idea of an “Orlu state” with Anambra LGAs like Ihiala, Orumba and towns like Ozubulu is, to put it mildly, highly controversial? BTW why Ozubulu from Ekwusigo LGA, but not others from that same LGA? Do those flying this kite actually know Ozubulu people well? Does anyone actually think that they can separate Ihiala from the rest of the “Orsu people” in places like Ukpor, Utu, and others in Nnewi South LGA? Similarly, how does one separate Orumba people from their Aguata LGA kins? But the most egregious mistake is to not recognize that the LGAs mentioned above are TYPICAL ANAMBRA people. If anyone would excise Ihiala, Orumba and towns like Ozubulu into an Orlu state, why not take Nnewi North, and Idemili LGAs, too? If I were advising those sponsoring this Orlu state, I would advise them to first change the name of the state to something else, because the LGAs from Abambra would find subsuming them under Orlu unpalatable. You can name the state Ojukwu state, and include Nnewi North and Idenmili LGAs too. Overall, I think that the sixth state that South East really needs is ANIOMA state. All these fractious people trying to split hairs in current South East region should take a chill pill. QED. |
christopherozo:I have a particularly soft spot for Prince Harry. He somehow wins hearts wherever he goes. Very likeable guy. ![]() As for my sister Queen Bianca, if Nigeria were to have a Queen, she would be it! ![]() |
CuriousCart:This comment reminds me of the observation I made in a thread sometime ago here. I observed that women are getting shorter and shorter these days, but some people thought I was wrong. When I was a teenager, there used to be many tall girls/women around. In fact height wasn't even one of major beauty considerations back then because it wasn't uncommon. But these days, tall women (i.e 5'11" or above) are very very few. The strange thing about this issue is that tall genes are dominant genes while short genes are recessive genes. It means that if a tall and a short couple have babies, out of every 100 babies, 75 are supposed to be tall while 25 are supposed to be short How come then that we are having more short women these day? Meanwhile the men are not getting shorter; in fact they are getting taller on average. So we are having a kind of height dissimilarities in humans these days. Something strange is happening to the human genome these days. @OP, Sorry to divert from your topic. You are not wrong in looking for tall women. Stick to your height spec because it is helping society. It may take a little time, but you will find your donors. Good luck! |
Charly68:Apparently you can't see that nWike has already lost this war. You think exactly like nWike. Heck you may even be nWike ![]() |
Reginaoyah:The more you post, the more I get the impression that you are really looking for permission (or validation) to cheat on your husband. I could be wrong but you sound like some man is telling you things like "look, how can a beautiful woman like you be wasting your time with this stingy man. ..he doesn't even care about your hair, clothes... the usual blah..." My dear, the moment that man finishes sleeping with you, he will leave because you have a husband and TWO children. Stop listening to men outside. It never ends well. Once you marry, your focus should shift from hairs and makeups to foods and clothes for children. Marriage (and life ) is TOUGH. I don talk my own o. |
@OP, you provided FOUR pieces of evidence that help to solve your case in my humble opinion: Evidence #1: Reginaoyah:Evidence #2: Reginaoyah:Evidence #3: Reginaoyah:Evidence #4: Reginaoyah:From all these, it is clear that YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. The evidence number 4 above shows that you are not really a good woman talk less of a good wife. So, after a PLUMBER husband of yours (plumbers are poor in Nigeria), had done his level best to provide for his family, you feel entitled that he should bleed himself to death while you play wife? Do you know how tough things are in Nigeria now? You apparently had (and still have) a completely wrong understanding of marriage. Marriage is FOR BETTER FOR WORSE. The man has done his best. Keep waiting to "avenge" yourself in old age when you may not even live longer than him. God is watching and taking notes! |
ivolt:Brilliant comment. Just when one is about to lose hope here about the intelligence level of posters, someone gives hope once more! The last bolded comment above is actually opposite, so I fixed it. Epic. Thanks! |
hopexter:Answer: Ndi meth. |
The reason is because smart people are increasingly lethargic about engaging in useless exchanges with dye-in-wool tribalists. You know, people like you. |
One of these days, sanity will return to Igboland because there are simply too many idiots running around insulting Igbo fathers with impunity. Chief Dr Engr Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu CFR, is an IGBO ICON - a man with LIFELONG SERVICE TO NDIGBO. When he was a young man in his twenties, he enrolled and fought gallantly for Biafra. And much of his life, he has done his level best to serve Ndigbo. What Iwuanyanwu achieved as a young man, most of the idiots insulting him cannot achieve them in their entire lives! He came out of a deserved retirement to serve Ndigbo, and all sane and thoroughbred Igbo (real undiluted Igbo) value and respect him. He is working for Ndigbo free of charge, and even spending his own money wherever he can to serve Ndigbo. Kitikpa ga agbagbu atulu obuna na akpali Iwuanyanwu na Alaigbo! ![]() |
I trust everyone. It is the devil in them that I don't trust. |
What chemical is that you are spraying? I hope it is safe and not carcinogenic (causing cancer). The rate of cancer in Nigeria these days is becoming alarming. Nigerian farmers need urgent national education on the use of pesticides and other farming best practices. HEALTH should always be the first consideration before crop yield. |
Our Naira dey suffer from serious BATeria. God help us. |
Greenfusion:You made some good points, but you still didn't give room for her humanity in the face of adversity - in this instance POVERTY. Mehn... you are grossly underestimating what POVERTY can do, especially to a Nigerian woman's mind. Not making excuses for her... Ask yourself this simple question: How many poor Nigerian women can refuse significant amount of money, particularly these days of satanic hardship? But I get your point (and have always been aware anyway) that a woman who has already made up her mind to screw another man cannot be stopped. She would find one excuse or another to accomplish her wish. But it doesn't seem like that woman in the OP is one of such. She appears to have lost her mind temporarily due to hardship. My 2 kobo opinion. |
Greenfusion:I chose to respond to you firstly because you didn't insult me (like the rest of the brainless oafs here). Secondly, I like how you premised your question on the concept of the golden rule (do unto others as you'll want others to do to you). To the issue and my comment. Please re-read my comment again because most of you missed the key premises of my views: Premise #1: ALL humans are not infallible or without sin (including you). NOBODY CAN EVER SWEAR THAT THEY CAN'T SIN, one way or another. You may not commit adultery, but you may steal, cheat others, envy/covet others, kill others one way or another, etc. Premise #2: She MUST confess NOW and return ALL the money. This way she ensures that the man has no remaining claims on her in any way. She would also be free of his blackmail. Premise #3: This is a ONE TIME thing and not a habitual character issue. Her husband knows her as a NORMAL TRUSTWORTHY WOMAN (not a LovePeddler). Premise #4: The man in question is a MATURE man (all mature men know that NOTHING can be guaranteed in life except death). Mature persons understands that life is a deep dark thing, and only the light that comes from within can help one navigate it. Deep stuff which I don't have time to elaborate on here... Whatever I say here is EXACTLY WHAT I WOULD DO IF IT WERE ME. But then again, I don't expect everyone to agree with me, after-all we are not all at the same levels of spiritual vibration. ![]() The fact that the woman bothered to share her story and has been pained enough to seek help is enough validation that she REALLY hates what happened. Did she have to share anything here? NOPE. As a matter of fact, most of the men ranting here calling me all sorts of names are the types that their women screw the whole town secretly, while they are here rapping rubbish. Women who REALLY cheat (true whores) NEVER SHARE THEIR STORY. THEY OPERATE IN STEALTH MODE PERMANENTLY. The OP doesn't seem to match that, because she is already willing to return the money she received. Anyway, there you have it. You are entitled to your view, and I mine. ![]() |
Firstly, understand that you are a human being, and human beings are not perfect (including the hypocrites here calling you all types of names and accusing you). As a human being, you fell for hardship (that is why poverty is very dangerous). Understand this and forgive yourself. Secondly, tell your husband everything now. Return the man's money, too. ALL OF IT. I presume you are married to a mature man (not a kid like those ranting here). I also assume that you are telling the truth about this being a one time mistake and not your character flaw. If your husband has always known you as a normal trustworthy woman, and he is not the deeply insecure type (BTW I warn women to never marry insecure man no matter what), he is likely to forgive and let bygone be bygone. Just like Jesus told the woman caught in adultery, GO AND SIN NO MORE. ![]() |
But IS CASH NOT MONEY (or legal tender) again in Nigeria? What is wrong with Nigeria? Why can't people be left alone in peace in Nigeria? Why must Nigeria governments turn Nigeria and Nigerians into the worlds biggest lab for mass control? This thing is getting more and more ridiculous. Leave the people the hell alone if you can't improve their lives! You want them to hand you control of their lives so that you ruin it like you ruined everything? Insult added to injury. ![]() |
Just watch as corn-fed attack dogs descend on him for speaking the truth. |
While he is transforming Onitsha, let him north forget the herdsmen security threat in Awka North LGA (mgbakwu, Ebenebe, etc) and parts of Oyi LGA. Without security, all these won't be sustained. Word of advice. |
YourMrBoo:Was wondering same. |
BarrNosaEsq:WORDS ON MARBLE. |
Tayo Aina is one of the few Nigerians that have attracted real respect and accolades to Nigeria for some years now through his Youtube videos. He has done faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more for Nigeria than even government officials in highest positions, at least on tourism. But watch as oafs and local touts who only support irresponsible government policies try to attack his credibility and reputation simply because he spoke the truth. Now, even the Ainas have fled the country. |
evictor305:In things like these, I focus on the children. There are one thousand and one different ways of dealing with a wayward woman which don't hurt children. BTW I hold "an old school philosophical views" on these issues. I plan to open a thread that somewhat throws some light into these philosophies. They are old and African. What we have today is not African, and is too individualistic. True African philosophy is communal. |
Edoziesmart:Nwa Nkanu please calm down. It is not all Anambra people that do that. In Anambra today, Fulani are doing something similar in Awka North, with zero governor's action. I opened a thread to that effect yesterday, and all Anambra people ran away and ignored it, as if that would solve the problem. Lately, I've decided to put on a different lens to view Ndigbo again. Our problem is truly exponential. But the few of us that have some brains and true courage need to soldier on. ![]() |
In normal countries, this narrative may be plausible. In Nigeria, one would be very naive to believe it. Methinks someone wants to steal it in Nigeria. |
Is this true? Is this allegation true or false? That is the question. |
Umu Anambra, how true is this allegation? Agbatarokwa nka n'oso. We need to stay laser-focused on this issue because soon these politicians will come again to ask for our votes. Anambra state guber elections will come soon. Clearly Soludo has not delivered on his campaign promise on this security threat. What is EACH potential guber contestant saying or doing about this serious security threat? RIght now, we might as well not have any governor at all. At least the people can take the matter into their own hands if there is no governor. |
Ezewuzie01:Atulu Fulani I have trolled for decades before you were born. ![]() Dem neva born you well to derail this thread. IGNORED. |
